Abstract

The Information Technology and Data Base Unit (UTIPD) is one of the units at the XYZ State Islamic Religious College (PTKIN) which is tasked with managing and developing information system management, network and application maintenance, managing databases, and developing other information technology (IT). This research aims to evaluate governance and risk management at UTIPD at PTKIN XYZ. As a higher education institution that continues to develop, PTKIN XYZ relies heavily on information technology to support its operations, administration and academic activities. However, with the increasing complexity of information systems and associated risks, an in-depth evaluation of how IT governance and risk management is implemented is needed. The COBIT 2019 framework, which is an international standard framework for IT governance and management, is used in this research to assess IT governance and risk management capabilities at UTIPD. The primary focus of this evaluation is to determine the extent to which current IT governance practices meet expected standards, as well as to identify areas requiring improvement. This research includes an analysis of COBIT 2019 domains that are relevant to IT governance and risk management. The results of this research show that the APO07 domain and APO12 domain processes only obtained capability level 2 and obtained a gap value (GAP) of 1 each. In addition, this research also presents recommendations for improving IT governance and risk management at PTKIN XYZ, with the aim of Finally, to ensure that this university can utilize information technology optimally, reduce risks, and support the achievement of its strategic goals. It is hoped that the findings from this research can become a reference for PTKIN XYZ and other higher education institutions in strengthening IT governance and risk management.

Abstract

This research aims to apply the sketchup application to design the principal's office building at SMK NEGERI 1 PAGARAN. The use of this sketchup application will make it easier for everyone who is in any field to turn an object or image into a 3D design and make it easier for the manager or employees or students majoring in TKJ at SMK N 1 PAGARAN to keep improving the building design. the method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The design of the principal's office building is made by applying the sketchup software application. The results of the research have been successfully implemented so that it is expected to be able to help the manager of SMK N 1 PAGARAN in creating a better building for the future.

Abstract

Digital transformation has become a priority for SMEs (Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises), including BPRBCo (Bank Perekonomian Rakyat), to remain competitive amidst rapid technological developments. Information security is a critical aspect in this process, which requires a systematic and standardized approach. Previous research emphasizes the importance of ambidextrous (hybrid traditional and agile) information security management for large-scale banks as one of the seven key mechanisms for successful digital transformation, namely data management and information security. However, this approach has not proven effective for small-scale banks such as BPRs. This research aims to design an information security management system (ISMS) based on ISO 27001:2022, with a focus on the readiness of BPRBCo SME in facing digital transformation. This research adopts the five stages of Design Science Research (DSR), namely problem identification, requirement specification, design and development, demonstration, and evaluation. Data was collected through semi-structured interviews and document analysis, then analyzed using the ISO 27001:2022 SMKI framework. After risk analysis and mapping against previous study references, PDCA and Annex controls were found to be prioritized for BPRBCo. The results of this study developed an IMS framework specifically designed to meet the needs of SMEs, with a focus on the SME Focus Area. The DSR method enables the creation of practical solutions, based on an iterative cycle that combines theory and practice to produce optimal results. The resulting ISMS framework is then evaluated to assess the extent to which this design affects BPRBCo's readiness to obtain ISO 27001:2022 certification, as well as its impact on improving information security during the digital transformation process. This research also provides implementation recommendations by integrating three main aspects: people, process, and technology.

Abstract

The use of the internet and web applications has significantly increased across various sectors, including education, healthcare, finance, and entertainment. However, web applications are highly vulnerable to various types of cyberattacks, such as SQL Injection, Cross-Site Scripting (XSS), and code injection, which can threaten the confidentiality, availability, and integrity of data. In line with technological advancements, the 2022 Ministry of Health regulation mandates that all healthcare facilities in Indonesia implement Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Universitas Andalas Hospital (RS UNAND) has adhered to this policy by developing a web-based EMR system. This study aims to evaluate and analyze the security of the EMR application used at RS UNAND. The Vulnerability Assessment process in this study was conducted using the Acunetix Web Vulnerability Scanner tool, which is designed to identify and assess vulnerabilities in web applications. The results of the first scan revealed that the RS UNAND EMR application had significant vulnerabilities, with a threat level of 3 (high). This scan identified 573 alerts, including 1 high-level, 253 medium-level, 2 low-level, and 317 informational alerts. These issues were followed by a thorough recap and further analysis to determine optimization steps. Several major vulnerabilities identified included HTML Form Without CSRF Protection, User Credentials Sent in Clear Text, Directory Listing, Source Code Disclosure, Git Repository Found, Multiple Vulnerabilities Fixed in PHP Versions, and Slow HTTP Denial of Service Attack. Optimization measures were then taken through a comprehensive review of the source code and enhancements to the security features of the EMR application. After the optimization, the second scan showed a significant reduction in the threat level, with the RS UNAND EMR application dropping to threat level 1 (low), with 12 alerts, consisting of 0 high and medium-level alerts, 9 low-level alerts, and 3 informational alerts. This study underscores the importance of regular security assessments and the optimization of security features to protect sensitive data in electronic medical record systems.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has emerged as a significant global outbreak, seriously impacting public health. This study examines the influence of air quality on COVID-19 patients in Singapore and Jakarta, utilizing Naive Bayes, Support Vector Machine (SVM), and K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) algorithms for data analysis. The findings indicate that better air quality in Singapore contributes to a reduction in disease severity, with 100% accuracy in predicting positive cases and hospitalizations using the SVM algorithm. Additionally, Naive Bayes successfully predicted 100% of mortality cases at a 90/10 ratio, demonstrating that even with relatively good air quality, its impact on patient severity remains significant. Conversely, in Jakarta, where air quality is poorer, there is variability in accuracy results. The K-NN algorithm achieved 100% accuracy for positive cases and isolation, while the SVM only reached 46.15% accuracy for positive case predictions. These findings underscore the significant influence of air quality on the severity and mortality of COVID-19 patients. In countries with better air quality, the impact on severity appears more manageable, whereas in those with poorer air quality, patient severity tends to be higher. Abstract

The inventory information system is a digital platform specifically designed to manage inventory in real-time. With the rapid advances in technology, business actors are encouraged to adapt and utilize technology to support accelerated business growth. Intilogam building shop is a building shop that provides various kinds of building and construction materials. The process of managing inventory at the Intilogam building shop is still carried out conventionally, with this process having several shortcomings such as loss of documents, damage to documents, and errors in recording the amount of inventory. To support an efficient inventory management process, the author designed and built a website-based FIFO (First In First Out) inventory information system. The method the author uses in building the system is Extreme Programming (XP), this research was carried out at the Intilogam building shop. This inventory information system helps make it easier for Intilogam building shop owners to manage inventory, minimizes damage and loss of inventory recording documents, and makes it easier for Intilogam building shop owners to access inventory reports anytime and anywhere.

Abstract

Honey guava is one of the varieties of water guava that has the sweetest taste. This advantage makes honey guava have the potential to be quite popular in several regions in Indonesia and has many enthusiasts to consume honey guava because consuming honey guava can increase skin moisture. The potential of honey guava makes farmers deliberately cultivate honey guava. This study utilizes digital image processing to create a system that can identify the ripeness of honey guava fruit based on RGB (Red, Green, Blue) and HSV (Hue, Saturation, Value) colors. The image in the form of a photo of honey guava fruit taken with a digital camera is processed using MATLAB software and then analyzed using the K-Means Clustering classification method to obtain a comparison of RGB and HSV feature extraction results.

Abstract

Technological developments have demanded continuous research so that it becomes more advanced in bringing benefits to computer science in particular. As is known, hand gestures are often used to convey meaning and can be used to interact with computers. Research by building software using Matlab R2020a which processes video input using a method approach based on image processing. The aim of the method approach in this research is to compute the coordinates of hand gesture objects to obtain hand movement trajectories. The research results of the K-Means method which was implemented to describe trajectory patterns can process the quality of segmented objects with exposure to dim light. The quality of segmentation that obtains the correct area of the hand gesture object influences the K-Means method in presenting trajectories in describing hand movement action patterns. The K-Means method can describe the trajectory of hand movements on the quality of segmented objects with dim light exposure. The longer the duration, the longer the processing will take, with the reality found that object detection processing based on image processing still takes longer than video viewing. With the hope that precise trajectories with hand movements can be understood as patterns in conveying meaning.

Abstract

This study aims to create a reading system for the running of the Gerber Auto Cutter machine and monitor the temperature in the vacuum mechanism area of the machine, which can provide notifications to the telegram chatbot and Arduino IoT cloud. In this case, the reading of the running machine functions to detect machine usage in real time and accurately, both when the machine is turned on and when the machine is running for the fabric cutting process in production. From the reading of the running machine, data can be taken on how long the machine and knife have been used, so that they can be programmed to display notifications on the telegram chatbot when a certain usage time has been reached. For reading the temperature in the vacuum mechanism room, it functions to monitor and provide notifications when it has exceeded the temperature threshold that can be tolerated by the electrical system in the vacuum system. In this case, the condition of the machine stopping operating due to damage to parts can be minimized. This study uses a qualitative method by means of observation, interviews, literature studies and case studies at PT. Brothersindo Saudara Sejati which is a machine supplier. The author uses the waterfall method for software development and prototyping for hardware development.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the impact of various learning rate values in artificial neural networks (ANN) in increasing the accuracy of predicting rubber tree maintenance costs. Using a dataset that includes factors such as tree age, soil conditions, weather, and maintenance methods, an ANN model is built and tested with various learning rate values to find optimal parameters. The research results show that the influence of various learning rate values on the performance of artificial neural networks (ANN) in predicting rubber tree maintenance costs varies significantly. From the training and testing results, learning rate 0.1 shows the best results with MSE 0.00995387 and 75% accuracy on training data, and MSE 0.00976614 and 83% accuracy on testing data. This conclusion emphasizes the importance of choosing the right learning rate value in applying ANN to predict rubber tree maintenance costs, which is expected to help plantation managers improve operational efficiency and cost management.
