Abstract

Introduction: Globalization certainly has a significant impact on the lives of Indonesian people. This impact includes two aspects, namely positive and negative. The influence of globalization has also penetrated all areas of life, including politics, economics, thought, and socio-cultural life. With its concept of Sharia economics, Islam is present at the right time and is warmly welcomed by the community. Islamic economics seems to be at least considered an alternative answer to the chaos of economic globalization. Objective: This study examines whether Islamic Economics can be an alternative answer to the increasingly complex chaos of economic globalization. Method: This study uses Library Research, commonly called a literature review. The data is obtained from various related literature, which is classified and analysed using a critical philosophical approach. Result: The results show that the concept of Islamic economics aims to achieve Maqasid Shari'ah, which includes the fulfilment of five basic needs (al-ḍaruriyat al-khams), namely the protection of religion, soul, mind, offspring, and property. To achieve this goal, steps that need to be taken include revitalization of the human element, reduction of wealth concentration, economic restructuring, and fiscal restructuring. Implication: This research provides an understanding that Islamic economics has the potential to be an effective alternative in dealing with the inequalities and challenges posed by the global economy.

Abstract

Introduction: Micro, small, and medium enterprises play a vital role in economic growth, but this is not supported by sufficient capital for business actors. Objective: This study aims to determine the effect of murabahah financing and the length of repayment of financing on the income of PNM Mekaar Syariah customers in Bengkulu City. Method: The researcher used a quantitative method with primary data collection techniques, including questionnaires distributed to 50 respondents. The data analysis method used was multiple linear regression analysis with the SPSS 27.0 program. Results: Results Based on the calculated t value for the financing variable (X1), 2.660> t table value 2.01174, and its significance is less than 0.05 (0.00 <0.05). Moreover, the results of the calculated t value for the variable Length of Financing Repayment (X2) 2.263> t table value 2.01174, and its significance is less than 0.05 (0.005 <0.05). From the results of the simultaneous test (F TEST), the calculated F value is 10.947 while the F table is known df1 = 2 and df2 = 47 with a confidence level of 95%, then the F table is 3.20. Therefore, the calculated F 10.947> F table 3.20, and the significance value is 0.001 (<0.05). This means there is a simultaneous influence between the amount of financing and the length of the financing repayment period on the income level of PNM Mekaar Syariah customers in Bengkulu City, Selebar District. Implications: This shows that improving the quality of halal certification services in Banda Aceh City can also increase business actors’ satisfaction

Bondowoso Regency has limitations in capital, so the Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS) meets the need for productive zakat assistance. Method: The research used is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. Result: The results show that the program's distribution process, including data verification, feasibility surveys, and monitoring, has positively impacted mustahik businesses, increasing turnover, profits, production capacity, and customer base, though full development has yet to be achieved. Implication: This article emphasises the important role of institutions in easing the burden on micro-entrepreneurs; such support can alleviate poverty.

Abstract

Introduction: This study's background is based on the importance of economic stability and growth in the face of changing global dynamics, where regional economic integration is a key factor in determining the region's competitiveness. Objective: This study analyzes the effect of international trade, foreign investment, and the exchange rate on economic growth in the ASEAN region from 2015 to 2023. Method: This study uses a quantitative approach, using panel secondary data obtained from the World Bank and analyzing it through multiple linear regression models using EViews 13 software. Results: The results show that international trade has a significant and positive influence on economic growth in ASEAN countries, signaling its central role in driving regional economic activity. In contrast, foreign investment does not show a significant effect on economic growth over the observed period, indicating that the role of foreign investment is not optimal or may be hampered by structural factors and domestic policies. Meanwhile, the exchange rate shows a positive relationship with economic growth, which may imply that exchange rate stability supports trade and investment activities. Implications: The implications of these findings emphasize the importance of strengthening foreign trade policy and managing a stable exchange rate as key strategies in promoting sustainable economic growth. In the context of Islamic economics, this study also reflects the importance of balance between economic interests and social values, where growth is not only measured in material terms, but should also reflect social justice, welfare, and sustainability.
