Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) program aims to introduce quality coffee seeds from UB Forest to the coffee farming community in Malang Raya through the use of social media. Documentation and dissemination of information is carried out using the social media platform Facebook to reach a wider audience. The method of implementing this program includes preparation, implementation and evaluation stages. In the preparation stage, the PKM team conducted site surveys and initial discussions to understand field conditions and prepare relevant content. The implementation stage involves creating a Facebook account "Brawijaya University Coffee", producing digital content in the form of photos, videos and articles, as well as publishing this content via Facebook. The evaluation stage is carried out by monitoring user responses, such as the number of likes, comments and viewers on uploads, as well as conducting audience satisfaction surveys using online questionnaires. The program results show that the use of social media is effective in increasing coffee farmers' awareness and knowledge about UB Forest coffee seeds. This documentation is also important for impact analysis and evaluation of program success. It is hoped that this program can help increase the productivity and welfare of coffee farmers in Malang Raya.

Abstract

The use of technology is growing for many individuals. Due to advanced technology, there are many things that can be utilized, including the use of social media to carry out digital campaigns and webinars to increase awareness of disabilities during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used in this report goes through three stages, namely preparation, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation. In the preparation stage, the PKM team conducted initial online observations regarding KOPINUS in more depth. Then, at the implementation stage, starting with designing the program first from the PKM team and also trying to get information about the needs needed by KOPINUS, through FGD (Focus Group Discussion). The final stage is the monitoring and evaluation stage, the PKM team monitors the registration process for online campaign volunteers and webinar activities. The research results show that with digital campaigns, webinars, eight KOPINUS programs, the use of social media has succeeded in increasing public awareness of issues related to disabilities through managing social media Twitter and Instagram. As part of the disability community, KOPINUS plays an important role in disseminating information and supporting the campaigns that have been carried out.

Abstract

Kolang kaling is a plant that is highly sought after during the month of Ramadan before Eid al-Fitr. Jatirejo Village is known as a village that produces processed kolang kaling. Processing in Jatirejo is still traditional so that if it is stored for a long time it will quickly become slimy, to prevent it, replace the damping water. However, to further extend the shelf life so far, only sweets are made by soaking in sugar water. It's just that the use of fro mostly as a mixture of drinks. KWT Makmur is a group of women who are trying to be creative with existing commodities in the Jatirejo area, but for the processing of kolang kaling, there are still many obstacles. PKM is carried out in 3 stages, namely site survey, implementation and evaluation. Cireng is a light snack that is very popular with both children and adults. Cireng so far is only made from starch (tapioca), with the addition of kolang kaling the nutritional content increases. The method of manufacture is easy and the additives are added with healthy compounds. At the time of implementation, there were 3 stages, namely a welcome explanation of the material about the usefulness of kolang kaling, then training on cireng disposal and the last evaluation. The training was attended by 20 members of KWT Makmur, but the enthusiasm of the residents was very good. Based on the results of the evaluation, 100% of the participants were satisfied and clear about the explanation of the speaker and 80% of the residents would immediately sell cireng.

Abstract

Karang Taruna Kalideres Village has a fish pond for cultivating fish, especially catfish. However, there are obstacles for Karang Taruna members who take care of their ponds, namely the management time must be intensive to provide fish feed. Therefore, assistance and understanding are needed for partners in managing fish cultivation using automatic fish feeders based on the Internet of Things (IoT) so that they can be utilized properly by the community. The community service team provides socialization, counseling and training in the use of automatic fish feeders based on the Internet of Things (IoT) to partners. The methods used in community service are socialization, discussion, training, and assistance. The implementation of this Community Service was carried out from July to September 2023. There were 20 participants who took part in this activity. Based on the analysis of the questionnaire given to partners, there was an increase in partner understanding regarding the use of automatic fish feeders based on the Internet of Things (IoT) by 60%. Participants were very enthusiastic and excited about participating in this activity. Automatic feeder technology based on the Internet of Things (IoT) is one alternative solution to problems in fish farming efforts.

Abstract

Anak adalah salah satu komponen dari masa depan suatu bangsa, kualitas anak di masa tertentu akan mempengaruhi kualitas negara di masa yang akan datang. Kesejahteraan anak sering terabaikan karena kurangnya pengetahuan masyarakat mengenai indikator kesejahteraan dari anak. Tujuan pengabdian yang dilakukan di Desa Bedahlawak ini adalah untuk memberikan edukasi kepada masyarakat desa tentang pentingnya mewujudkan Desa Ramah Anak. Program ini dimulai dengan sosialisasi kepada kelompok masyarakat setempat, diikuti dengan workshop untuk pemenuhan Indikator Desa Ramah Anak. Pelatihan dan workshop dilakukan secara tatap muka, melibatkan perangkat desa, komunitas perempuan, dan ibu-ibu PKK. Hasil dari pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang indikator kesejahteraan anak berperan penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang lebih mendukung perkembangan anak. Desa Bedahlawak diharapkan dapat menjadi desa yang lebih sejahtera bagi anak dengan memenuhi semua indikator Desa Ramah Anak. Program ini juga bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kepedulian dan partisipasi aktif masyarakat dalam upaya perlindungan dan pemenuhan dari hak-hak anak.
