Abstract

Technology-based transformation of Islamic education management is an urgent need to face the challenges of the 21st century, marked by digitalization and shifting educational paradigms. Islamic educational institutions are required to integrate Islamic values ​​with the use of technology to improve the quality of educational services. This study aims to analyze the technology-based transformation of Islamic education management, identify its implementation, and examine its implications for facing 21st-century challenges at MA Hidayatul Mubtadiin. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a case study, through data collection techniques such as in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis uses the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that technology-based transformation of education management has been implemented through management functions that include digital planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation, which has resulted in increased management efficiency, teacher professionalism, and an adaptive and innovative organizational culture. In conclusion, technology-based transformation of Islamic education management plays a significant role in improving the quality of education and the competitiveness of institutions in the digital era, while remaining grounded in Islamic values

Abstract

Spiritual leadership is an important approach in Islamic educational management to build a strong organizational culture based on Islamic values. However, leadership practices in many Islamic educational institutions still tend to be administrative and have not fully integrated the spiritual dimension into organizational management. This study aims to analyze the role of spiritual leadership in improving organizational culture in Islamic educational institutions and to formulate a relevant conceptual model. The research method used is library research with a qualitative descriptive-analytical approach through analysis of various scientific literature from the last five years. The data analysis technique uses content analysis with the stages of data reduction, classification, and interpretation. The results show that spiritual leadership plays a significant role in shaping a religious, disciplined, collaborative, and quality-oriented organizational culture through the internalization of Islamic values ​​and the exemplary behavior of leaders. In conclusion, spiritual leadership is a key factor in building a strong, character-based, and sustainable organizational culture in Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

Discipline is the main foundation in the character formation of students in Islamic boarding schools. In facing the increasingly complex challenges of the times, an educational management strategy is needed that can instill the values ​​of discipline effectively and sustainably. One approach that is relevant and in accordance with Islamic values ​​is the implementation of a reward and punishment system. This study aims to describe the implementation of rewards and punishment as an Islamic educational management strategy in fostering student discipline at the Hidayatul Mubtadiin Islamic Boarding School in South Lampung. The method used is a qualitative approach with observation, interviews, and documentation techniques. The results show that the reward system is given through praise, awards, and special assignments to motivate students, while punishment is given educationally and proportionally, such as additional assignments or moral development. The implementation of rewards and punishments is carried out in an integrated manner with Islamic values, the exemplary behavior of the ustadz, and humanistic communication. This strategy has proven effective in shaping student discipline both physically and mentally. These findings recommend strengthening discipline management based on Islamic values ​​and increasing the use of technology in the student development system.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has brought fundamental changes to the world of education, including in science and biology learning. This study aims to analyze and develop the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and local wisdom in biology learning to improve students' scientific literacy and environmental awareness. The study used a qualitative approach with library research methods, through the search and analysis of national and international journal articles, books, proceedings, and relevant scientific documents, especially publications from the last five years. Data were analyzed using content analysis techniques through the stages of identification, selection, classification, comparison, interpretation, and synthesis of previous research findings. The results show that the integration of AI and local wisdom has strong potential in supporting scientific literacy through the exploration of biological phenomena, information retrieval and evaluation, data analysis, verification of scientific evidence, argumentation, and problem solving. In addition, local wisdom provides ecological context and cultural values ​​close to students' lives, while AI strengthens exploration and information processing skills, thereby encouraging concern, responsibility, and action towards the environment. In conclusion, the integration of AI and local wisdom can be a contextual, critical, ethical, and sustainability-oriented approach to biology learning by positioning AI as a facilitator of scientific thinking processes and local wisdom as a source of knowledge and ecological values.

Abstract

Change in educational institutions is a challenge that requires effective administrative strategies to ensure successful implementation. This article discusses various administrative strategies that can be used to manage change in an educational context, focusing on planning, communication, and stakeholder participation. This research uses a qualitative approach, with in-depth interviews and case studies in several schools that have successfully implemented change. The results show that strategies involving all parties, including teachers, students, and parents, can increase engagement and support for change. Furthermore, transparent and continuous communication is key to reducing resistance and building trust. Effective change management in educational institutions relies not only on policies but also on the active involvement of the entire school community. Effective administrative strategies for managing change in educational institutions include thorough planning, open communication, stakeholder involvement, relevant training, and systematic monitoring and evaluation. By implementing these strategies, educational institutions can better face the challenges of change, create a better learning environment, and achieve higher educational goals.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays a crucial role in shaping the religious and social character of students, particularly amidst the dynamics of the modern era marked by technological developments and changing learning patterns. However, PAI learning in educational institutions still faces various challenges, such as limited learning innovation and suboptimal institutional strategies. This study aims to analyze educational institutions' strategies in optimizing Islamic Religious Education learning in the modern era, identify supporting factors, and formulate an integrative strategic approach. The method used is a qualitative approach with a library research type, with data sources in the form of scientific journals, books, and relevant documents from the last five years analyzed using content analysis techniques. The results show that optimization of PAI learning can be achieved through the integration of systematic institutional managerial strategies, technology-based learning innovations and student-centered learning, as well as strengthening teacher competencies and a supportive school culture. In conclusion, the success of PAI learning in the modern era is largely determined by the synergy between institutional policies, pedagogical innovation, and the sustainable use of technology.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays a strategic role in building social harmony in a multicultural society characterized by religious, cultural, and ethnic diversity. The challenges of increasing intolerance and social conflict require strengthening inclusive values ​​in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning. This study aims to analyze the contribution of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in building social harmony in the multicultural era, identify key values ​​that support tolerance, and examine their implementation in the learning process. The method used is a qualitative approach with a library research type, using data from scientific journals, books, and relevant documents from the last five years analyzed using content analysis techniques. The results show that PAI values ​​such as tolerance (tasamuh), justice (adl), balance (tawazun), and brotherhood (ukhuwah) contribute significantly to building social harmony, which is strengthened through dialogic, contextual, and experience-based learning and supported by the role of teachers and an inclusive school culture. In conclusion, PAI has a strategic function as an instrument for building social character that is able to create a harmonious, tolerant, and civilized society amidst diversity.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology provides extensive opportunities for the world of education to introduce innovation in the learning process. This study aims to describe the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning model based on digital interfaith simulation and analyze its role in strengthening students' religious moderation at SMA Islam Plus Amali Bilakembar in Suela Village. The study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive qualitative research type. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques used the Miles and Huberman model. Meanwhile, data validity was tested using source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results show that the digital interfaith simulation learning model integrates digital technology with simulations, collaborative discussions, and problem-based learning to create a contextual learning experience. This learning model is no longer teacher-centered, but rather provides space for students to build knowledge through contextual learning experiences. In addition, digital interfaith simulation has been proven to contribute to strengthening religious moderation by increasing tolerance, social awareness, digital literacy, and the ability to respond to diversity wisely without reducing commitment to religious teachings. Thus, the Islamic Education learning model based on digital interfaith simulation is one of the effective learning innovations in shaping the character of students who are moderate, inclusive, and adaptive to life in a multicultural society in the digital era.

Abstract

In Indonesia, education plays a strategic role in producing a generation that is intelligent, virtuous, and responsible towards themselves, society, and the nation. This study aims to analyze the level of social media use, its impact on Islamic values, including faith, worship, and morals, and the influence of the erosion of Islamic values on the school environment at SDI Yadinu Masbagik. The study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman model. Meanwhile, the validity of the data was tested using extended observation, method triangulation, and documentation. The results showed that the level of social media use among students is relatively high and has become part of their daily activities that affect their learning patterns, communication, and social interactions. The use of social media has an impact on Islamic values, characterized by a decline in the quality of aqidah appreciation, discipline in worship, and changes in behavior and ethics in interactions. In addition, the erosion of Islamic values has an impact on the decline of religious culture, discipline, and mutual respect in the school environment. Therefore, synergy is needed between schools, families, and communities in supervising, fostering, and strengthening digital literacy based on Islamic values so that social media can be utilized positively without reducing the formation of students' Islamic character.

Abstract

Islamic educational values are principles, teachings, and references derived from the Qur'an and Hadith, which are then understood and developed through the perspectives of Islamic scholars and prominent Islamic educational thinkers. This study aims to analyze the relevance of Islamic educational values represented by the character of Sri Ningsih in the novel Tentang Kamu by Tere Liye with the culture of female students at the Hikmatussyarief NWDI Salut Islamic Boarding School. The research approach used in this study is a qualitative research approach, the types of research used are library studies and field studies. Data collection techniques use documentation, interviews, and observations. Data analysis techniques used are content analysis, and Miles and Huberman analysis. The results of the study show that the Islamic educational values of the character Sri Ningsih have a strong relevance to the culture of female students, which include the values of faith in the form of faith and tawakal, the value of worship through the habit of carrying out worship consistently, and moral values that include patience, discipline, hard work, honesty, qana'ah, compassion and care, generosity, forgiveness, husnuzan, and obedience. Although the internalization of values in Sri Ningsih's character is formed through life experiences, while in the female students it is developed through the education system and habituation in Islamic boarding schools, both demonstrate the same goal: to develop individuals who are faithful, pious, and have noble morals. Thus, the novel " About You" has significant relevance as a contextual learning medium for Islamic educational values and can support the character development of female students in Islamic boarding schools.
