Abstract

Christian Religious Education (PAK) teachers have a very important role in the formation of character and faith of students, as well as in creating a generation with Christ-like personalities. This study aims to examine the professionalism of PAK teachers, the characters that must be possessed, and the competencies needed in carrying out their duties as educators. PAK teachers must have in-depth knowledge of Christian teachings, and be able to emulate Jesus as the Great Teacher in everyday life and in carrying out teaching duties. Through a literature study approach, this study explores various relevant sources to understand the role and qualifications of professional PAK teachers. The results of the study show that a professional PAK teacher not only masters the teaching material, but also has the character of Christ, high discipline, and great responsibility in educating and guiding students. A good PAK teacher must be a role model in all aspects of life, prioritize love, integrity, and responsibility, and continue to develop themselves both academically and spiritually. Professionalism in Christian religious education involves a deep understanding of the Word of God, ongoing training, and a high commitment to the task of teaching. Therefore, becoming a professional PAK teacher not only requires educational qualifications and competencies, but also the readiness to be a loving guide for students, preparing them to face life with Christian faith, integrity, and wisdom.

Abstract

Homiletics, as the art and science of conveying sermons or messages from God's word, has an important role in building understanding of the Bible in the era of globalization. In the context of a modern world full of information and cultural challenges, homiletics must be able to bridge the messages of the Bible with the needs of congregations living amidst global complexity. This research aims to explore how homiletics can adapt to current developments, use a relevant and contextual approach, and remain faithful to the truth of God's word. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach with literature study and analysis of homiletical practices in various church contexts. The research results show that preachers need to understand the needs of the congregation holistically and use creative communication methods, such as the use of digital technology, contextual narratives, and a dialogic approach. In addition, emphasis on the integrity of the preacher and sensitivity to the challenges of globalization, such as the relativism of truth and secularism, are important factors in conveying the Bible's message effectively. This research concludes that homiletics plays a role as a spiritual transformation tool that is relevant in the era of globalization by responding to the challenges of the times through conveying contextual, applicable and inspirational Bible messages. The emphasis on the use of digital media and a contextual hermeneutical approach is expected to help congregations not only understand God's word, but also apply it in everyday life. Homiletics that is relevant in the era of globalization is homiletics that brings God's word to life and has a real impact in an ever-changing world.

Abstract

The advancement of information technology has influenced various aspects of life, including the practice of delivering the Word of God. This article explores the transformation of sermon delivery from conventional pulpits to social media platforms. The primary focus of this study is on how this transformation affects spiritual communication patterns, congregation connectivity, and the sustainability of Christian values in the digital era. Using a phenomenological approach, this article reveals that social media has the potential to expand the reach of ministry but also requires spiritual leaders to adopt strategic and ethical approaches in its use. This transformation brings new challenges, such as the risk of shallow message delivery, the potential for theological distortion, and the limited digital literacy among both ministers and congregants. Social media, with its fast-paced and condensed nature, often encourages the delivery of shorter messages, necessitating caution to ensure that the core message of the Word of God remains intact. Platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok present unique opportunities to reach the digital generation but also demand a creative, relevant, and Biblically aligned approach. Contextualizing the message becomes key, enabling the Word of God to be delivered in an engaging and easily understood format without diminishing its profound meaning.

Abstract

Teaching materials are a key element in optimizing the learning process. Learning video-based teaching materials commonly used in the learning process have a relevant impact. The most important thing is to arouse the spirit of learning and motivation of the students themselves. The purpose of this research is to develop and test the effectiveness of video-based teaching materials to increase student learning motivation in Blessing Integrated 7th grade. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) which uses data collection techniques of observation, interview and learning motivation questionnaire. The results of the study showed that when the video teaching materials were applied, one expert gave an average score of 4 points in the “appropriate” category. The results of the article show that the expert gave an average score of 4 with the appropriate category. The results showed that 93,3% of students were very satisfied with using videos in the learning process. These results indicate that the video-based learning materials introduced in Fiqh learning are considered feasible to develop as one of the alternative methods to increase student learning motivation.

Abstract

Educational psychology plays an important role in shaping students' character through Christian Religious Education (PAK) learning. This article discusses how the application of educational psychology principles can improve students' moral, emotional, and social values. Using Piaget's cognitive development theory, Vygotsky's constructivism, and Bandura's social learning, PAK learning can be designed to support character formation more effectively. However, this implementation faces various challenges, including lack of teacher understanding, limited resources, and minimal parental involvement. To overcome these obstacles, this article recommends developing teacher competencies through training, innovation of teaching methods based on moral and spiritual values, and strengthening systemic support. Through this approach, psychology-based education can create students who are not only academically superior but also have strong moral integrity.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze and evaluate descriptive text objects that are heard and read orally, written and visually. Find standard word choices from descriptive texts written by students and analyze word choice errors and their effect on sentence clarity. This research uses a qualitative method which is carried out through several stages, namely, data collection which is carried out using the observation method. Data analysis was collected using marking techniques by reading and then marking. The results of this research show that descriptive text is writing that aims to present details about an object in such a way that it can influence the sensitivity and imagination of the reader or listener as if they could see, hear and feel the object directly. Word choice or diction is very important when writing descriptive text. Good choice of words makes the text beautiful and interesting. Apart from that, word choice also affects the clarity of sentences. The choice of words when writing descriptive text is very necessary so that the writing reaches the reader correctly

Abstract

This study will reveal how the review of maqashid al-syariah in the implementation of Halal Product Guarantee after the enactment of Law No. 33 of 2014 on Halal Product Guarantee in Indonesia? Before the enactment of Law No. 33 of 2014 on Halal Product Guarantee, the implementation and implementation of Halal Product Guarantee is managed by LPPOM MUI. There are many problems when the implementation of halal product guarantee is still managed by private institutions. Therefore, the government finally issued Law No. 33 of 2014 on Halal Product Guarantee. The two objectives contained in Law No. 33 of 2014 on the guarantee of halal products, are important components that must be realized in human life, so that human life will be regarded as an optimal life. The sense of comfort, safety, safety and certainty of halal products circulating around Indonesia is important (dharuri) in the life of Muslims in Indonesia, so it must be realized, one of them only through the enactment of Law No. 33 of 2014 on the guarantee of halal products. From the analysis that has been conducted this study concludes that the implementation of the guarantee of halal products after the issuance of Law No. 33 of 2014 on the guarantee of halal products is the responsibility of the institution called the Halal Product Security Management Agency (BPJPH), which is under the auspices of the Ministry of Religious Affairs . In the perspective of maqashid al-shariah, first, UU JPH can provide comfort, safety, safety, and certainty of Halal Product availability for public purpose of guarantee implementation to improve halal product. Second, UU JPH can add value for business actors to produce and sell Halal Products.

Abstract

This research examines the role of legal audit in supporting election supervision by the Election Supervisory Body (Bawaslu). Legal audits serve as a tool to ensure compliance with election regulations, detect violations, and increase transparency in the election process. This research finds that the integration of legal audits can increase the effectiveness of Bawaslu supervision and strengthen public trust in election results. Therefore, strengthening the capacity of Bawaslu personnel and collaborating with other legal institutions is very necessary to optimize the implementation of legal audits in election supervision.

Abstract

Essentialism in educational philosophy emphasizes the importance of preserving cultural values and knowledge that have stood the test of time. This philosophical approach focuses on shaping individuals who can positively contribute to society through mastery of essential foundational knowledge. This article explores the core principles of essentialism, including cultural preservation, adaptation to natural laws, and the development of intelligence and character. In the educational context, essentialism stresses the need for a systematic and disciplined curriculum designed to encompass knowledge relevant to everyday life. Essentialist education also aims to shape students' character, enhance their intellectual capacities, and ensure that stable traditional values are upheld. Additionally, essentialism emerged as a critique of progressive education, which is seen as overly flexible and unstable. Essentialists argue that progressive education often neglects the importance of time-tested traditional values. By focusing on these values, essentialist education seeks to create stability and clarity within society. This article also discusses how essentialist education can be applied in modern contexts to achieve these goals and provides insights into the role of essentialism in maintaining social and cultural stability.
