Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know students’ perception of the use of google classroom as a medium of online learning in economic subject at SMA Negeri 3 Bantul. This kind of research was descriptive with quantitative research. The population in this research are all the students majoring in social studies at SMA Negeri 3 Bantul, which consisted of 281 students. The samples in this research were 165 students who were taken by convenience sampling. Data were collected by questionnaires and interviews and analyzed by descriptive analysis.The results in this research showed that: (1) Students’ perception of the use of google classroom as a medium of online learning in economic subject at SMA Negeri 3 Bantul were positive with a tendency rate of 43. (2) student learning outcomes while using the google classroom learning media are included in the high category with a tendency rate of 77%.Keywords : Perception, google classroom and online learning

Abstract

This study aimed to determine whether there were: 1) a positive influence of parental supports on students’ achievements in economics (cross-interest) subjects for high school students in Class XI MIPA and 2) a positive influence of the social environments on students’ achievement in economics subjects (cross interests) for high school students in Class XI MIPA. This research was astudy of ex post facto which was conducted in April 2021. The population of this study were students of Class XI MIPA at SMA Negeri  1  Kalasan,  totaling  144  people.  The  research  samples  that  were  108 students were taken by a random sampling technique. The data were collected using questionnaires and documentation. The hypothesis was tested using the Spearman Rank correlation tests. The results showed that: (1) there was no positive influence of parental support on learning achievements in economic subjects (cross interests) for high school students of Class XI MIPA, with the acquisition of sig. (1-tailed) = 0.067 0.05 and the value of r count = 0.145; and (2) there was no positive influence of the social environments on learning achievements in economic subjects (cross interests) for high school students of Class XI MIPA, with the acquisition of sig. (1-tailed) = 0.065 0.05 and the value of r count = 0.146.Keywords: Student Achievement, Parental Support, and Social Environment.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine whether there was a positive influence of students’ perceptions on teaching profession and family environment toward students’ interest in becoming teachers in class X and XI Natural Science Mathematics and Social Studies majors at SMA Negeri 1 Depok Yogyakarta in 2022.This type of research was descriptive research using quantitative methods. The population in this study was all students of class X and XI majoring in Natural Science Mathematics and Social Studies at SMA Negeri 1 Depok Yogyakarta, totaling 431 students. The sample of this research was 203 students taken using proportional stratified random sampling. The data collection in this research used a questionnaire. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis.The result of the research showed that students’ perceptions on teaching profession and family environment together had a positive influence on students’ interest in becoming teachers. The result of this research was evidenced by the calculated F value of 8.992 and the significance value of 0.000.Keywords: students’ perceptions on teaching profession, family environment and students’ interest in becoming teachers.

Abstract

This study aimed to determine (1) the positive correlation between emotional intelligence and the level of accounting understanding, (2) the positive correlation between learning behaviors and the level of accounting understanding, and (3) the positive correlation between parent’s supports and the level of accounting understanding Sanata Dharma University. This research is descriptive correlation research which was conducted in February – March 2020. The Population of the research were 56 students of accounting study program batch 2016, Sanata Dharma University Yogyakarta. The data were collected by using questionnaire and documentation. Research data are describe using PAP type II. The hypothesis was tested by Spearman Rank Correlation. The result of study were : (1) there was no positive correlation between emotional inteliigence and the level of accounting understanding (Spearman Rank = -0,143 the value of sig, (1-tailed) = 0,156); (2) there was no positive correlation between learning behaviour and the level of accounting understanding (Spearman Rank = -0,156 the value sig. (1-tailed) = 0,129); (3) there was no positive correlation between parent’s support and the level of accounting understanding (Spearman Rank = -0,036 the value sig. Abstract

The objectives of this study were to examine and analyze whether there were differences in work motivation and teacher performance between certified and uncertified teachers in SMA Negeri 1 and 2 Nubatukan, Lembata District. The research was conducted in January 2021. This study is a comparative research. The research population were teachers of SMA Negeri 1 and SMA Negeri 2 Nubatukan, Lembata District. The number of sample was 82 teachers. The research sampling technique was saturated sampling technique. The data collection technique was a questionnaire. The data analysis technique was Man Whitney test. The results of data analysis showed that: (1) there were differences of work motivation between certified and non-certified teachers in SMA Negeri 1 and 2 Nubatukan, Lembata District and (2) there were differences of teacher performance between certified and non-certified teachers in SMA Negeri 1 and 2 Nubatukan, Lembata District.Keywords: work motivation, teacher performance, certified teachers, non-certified teachers

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the correlation between: 1) the use of Zoom Meetings and students’ learning achievement during the Covid-19 pandemic; and 2) complete zoom meeting facilities and students’ learning achievements during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was a quantitative study that was conducted in May-June 2021. The population in this study were students of the Economic Education Study Program specializing in Accounting Education, Sanata Dharma University Yogyakarta, Batch of 2017-2019. The samples in the study were 105 students taken by purposive sampling technique. The research data were collected using questionnaires distributed through Google form and tested using Spearman’s rank correlation. The test results showed that: 1) there was no correlation between the use of zoom meetings and students’ learning achievements during the Covid-19 pandemic as indicated by the correlation coefficient value of -0.142 and the probability of sig.(2-tailed) = 0.149; and 2) there was no correlation between the completeness of the Zoom Meetings facilities and students’ learning achievement during the Covid-19 pandemic as indicated by the correlation coefficient value of -0.140 and the probability of sig.(2-tailed) = 0.154.Keywords: Learning implementation, Zoom Meeting media, and students’ achievements.

Abstract

Volatility reflects fluctuations in stock prices within a certain period. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of market volatility and psychological sentiment on company stock return. This study uses a sample of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia, Tbk as a company with good performance and a large number of investors on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This study uses multiple regression based on daily data for 2015-2021 analyzed using Exponential GARCH. This study reveals that market volatility indicated by the LQ45 index has a significant effect on stock return volatility. Meanwhile, market sentiment as measured by index volatility has no effect on stock return.Keywords: volatility; psychological sentiment; stock prices

Abstract

This research aims to analyze how developing flipped learning model in Regional Economics course on second semester 2019/2020 can improve competence, conscience and compassion of Economic Education students. This research is a quasi-experimental research. Assessment of competence aspect was obtained by using pretest and post test scores, while for aspects of conscience and compassion by using questionnaires and observations. Results of this research showed that developing flipped learning model in Regional Economics course can improve the competence, conscience and compassion of Economics Education students.Keywords : flipped learning, competence, conscience, compassion and Regional Economics

Abstract

This research aims to analyze factors that affect non-oil and gas exports in Indonesia: Gross Domestic Product (GDP), exchange rates (kurs), inflation, and foreign direct investment (FDI) for the period 2000 - 2019. This research is an ex post facto, where research is to examine data that have occurred and then trace back through the data to find the factors that determine the causes of the events under study. Data in this research is secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) for the period 2000 - 2019. The data analysis technique that will be used is Multiple Linear Regression. The results show that Gross Domestic Product (GDP), exchange rates and foreign investment (PMA) have a positive effect on Indonesia’s non-oil and gas exports for the period 2000 - 2019. Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the correlation between: 1) self- confidence and students’ learning activeness in class; 2) teacher’s attention and student learning activeness in class; and 3) peer students support with student learning activeness in class. This type of research was correlational research. The population in this research were 186 students of grade XI SMK Negeri 1 Yogyakarta. The research samples were 93 students taken by a convenience sampling. The data were collected by questionnaires and analyzed by descriptive analysis and Spearman’s Rank correlation. The results of this study indicated that: 1) there was a positive and significant correlation between self-confidence and students’ learning activeness in class (r_count = 0.653 r_table = 0.2309; Sig. (1-tailed) = 0.000); 2) there was no positive and significant correlation between teacher’s attention and student learning activities in class (r_count = 0.003 r_table = 0.2309; Sig. (1-tailed) = 0.490); and 3) there was a positive and significant relationship between peer students support and student learning activeness in class (r_count = 0.428 r_table = 0.2309; Sig.
