Abstract

The Kwartir Ranting Maos office manages the Scout Movement at the sub-district level. With 39 Scout units from siaga, penggalang, to penegak levels, there is a need for efficient activity report tracking and proposal submission, along with accountability reports for completed activities. Currently, these processes are done conventionally, requiring direct submissions from Scout units to Kwarran, making it challenging to monitor ongoing and scheduled activities. This study aims to design an administrative system to streamline these processes, making them more effective, efficient, and optimal. The research findings indicate that the SIKEKWARMA system can significantly enhance the management and supervision of Scout units by the Kwartir Ranting Maos. The system allows simultaneous access to information, facilitating better coordination among all involved parties. Additionally, it improves the accountability of proposal submissions and activity reports. Overall, SIKEKWARMA supports better decision-making and communication within the Kwartir Ranting Maos.

Abstract

Information systems project management plays a crucial role in the operations of companies in this digital era, yet it faces numerous challenges due to inherent complexities and dynamics. This literature review aims to explore the effectiveness of the Agile methodology in information systems project management. The research method used is qualitative with a literature review approach, analyzing various studies and scholarly articles related to Agile implementation. The findings indicate that Agile improves responsiveness to change, the quality of the final product, team collaboration and communication, and risk management. Agile allows for quick adjustments to changing needs and priorities through short iterative cycles and strengthens teamwork through regular meetings and continuous feedback. In conclusion, adopting the Agile methodology provides significant benefits and is highly recommended as a strategy to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of information systems project management in a dynamic business environment.

Abstract

This research focuses on developing a rainfall prediction system using the Backpropagation Artificial Neural Network (JST) method. The system is designed to predict future rainfall intensity by utilizing four main parameters: air temperature, air humidity, wind speed, and air pressure. Accurate rainfall prediction is essential in various fields, such as agriculture, transportation, and industry. Traditional systems for predicting rainfall are often unable to provide accurate and timely information. Backpropagation JST offers a promising solution to overcome this limitation. The rainfall prediction system developed using Backpropagation JST shows satisfactory performance. The system is able to predict rainfall intensity with a high degree of accuracy. These findings suggest that the Backpropagation JST-based rainfall prediction system can be a valuable tool for various sectors that require accurate and timely rainfall information. The system has the potential to improve efficiency and effectiveness in various activities, such as irrigation planning, disaster risk management, and industrial operations. This research can be extended by exploring other JST methods to improve prediction accuracy. In addition, this research can be implemented in other regions with different climatic conditions to test the generalizability of the system.

Abstract

Fire is an event caused by an uncontrolled ignition source, which generally occurs due to human negligence when using electronic devices without being careful which can cause electrical short circuits and fires. Firefighters often have difficulty extinguishing fires, due to late early detection information regarding fires, so that handling is delayed. Because of this phenomenon, a system is needed that can help prevent fires. This research aims to produce an IoT-based automatic fire detection and fire extinguishing system, as well as to measure and evaluate the system's level of accuracy in detecting fires and responding by extinguishing them. This research will explain the design process for an IoT-based automatic fire detection and extinguishing system, using the System Development Life Cycle Waterfall model research method. The final result of this research is that the author succeeded in creating an Internet of Things (IoT)-based Automatic Fire Detection and Fire Extinguishing System, which is systematically able to detect the presence of fire and gas and perform automatic fire extinguishing functions, and users can also receive notifications via WhatsApp. The author also succeeded in measuring the level of accuracy of the IoT-based automatic fire detection and extinguishing system.

Abstract

At Fitri Taylor there is no information system used. So, in this article the author created a prototype design for an effective Project Management Information System for receiving sewing orders using the Waterfall application development methodology. The waterfall method is used because of its ability to organize steps systematically from needs analysis to design. This research will focus on the stages in needs analysis, system design, and system prototype implementation. It is hoped that the design of this system will facilitate the process of receiving sewing orders, increase efficiency, and minimize errors in information management. The Waterfall method as the framework used is expected to be able to provide clear and structured guidance in developing a sewing information management system, so that it is hoped that it can improve customer service and strengthen the company's competitiveness in a competitive market.

Abstract

Information system project management is a vital foundation for the operational success of companies in the current digital era. In this study, we conducted a literature review to explore the key factors influencing the effectiveness of project management. From the analysis, it was found that team skills, effective communication, and appropriate technology utilization are crucial elements contributing to project success. Strong team skills enable effective collaboration among team members, while smooth communication ensures timely and accurate information flow. Additionally, advanced technology such as project management tools provides additional benefits in terms of planning, monitoring, and reporting projects. The practical implications of these findings underscore the need for ongoing team skill development and the application of suitable technology to enhance the efficiency and success of information system projects in increasingly complex and dynamic business environments.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to produce real results in providing comfort or convenience in turning on or off night life in everyday homes, especially for people who forget to turn off the lights. The method used in making microcontroller-based home lighting control using an Android smartphone is. This research method consists of several stages, analysis method, design method, implementation testing method, and maintenance. The results achieved are improving aspects of comfort and convenience for agencies, where this series of tools works after Bluetooth devices are available on Android smartphones. connected to a bluetooth module connected to an arduino microcontroller. Basically, the principle of using this tool is that users must be able to operate a smartphone based on the Android operating system. The conclusion is that this equipment has been tested and can be used as an Android smartphone light controller via Bluetooth connection without having to press the light button

Abstract

The security of online transactions is crucial in today's digital era. This study aims to examine the impact of the implementation of Secure Socket Layer (SSL) on the security of online transaction websites. Prior to the implementation of SSL, websites were often vulnerable to attacks such as data theft and man-in-the-middle attacks due to the use of the insecure HTTP protocol. By implementing SSL, data is encrypted between the server and the user, and digital certificates are used to authenticate the identity of the website, increasing protection against sensitive data such as credit card information and personal data. The research method used is action research, with a recurring cycle of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results of the study show that after the implementation of SSL, there is a significant increase in the security of online transactions. The transmitted data is effectively encrypted, reducing the risk of man-in-the-middle attacks and phishing. Strong server authentication also builds user trust, which is reflected in the increase in online transaction activity. The conclusion of this study is that SSL is an essential step to improve security and trust in online transactions, and provides recommendations for further development in the application of this technology.

Abstract

In the era of digitalization, smart grids have become vital for efficient and sustainable energy distribution but are vulnerable to various cyber threats. This research aims to design and implement a robust network security system for smart grids to protect critical infrastructure from cyber-attacks. The methodology involves risk analysis, threat model development, and the application of advanced encryption and authentication technologies. The proposed security system incorporates multiple layers of protection, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and incident response mechanisms, supplemented by blockchain-based security protocols to ensure data integrity. Implementation results demonstrate that the system can effectively identify and counteract cyber threats, enhancing network resilience. Performance testing indicates that despite the additional security layers, the system operates within acceptable limits for latency and throughput. This research significantly contributes to the development of security standards for smart grids and provides practical recommendations for the industry in designing reliable and efficient security systems.

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving digital era, threats to information security have become increasingly complex and diverse. Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) offers a comprehensive solution through the collection, correlation, and analysis of log data from various sources to detect and respond to threats in real-time. This research analyzes the implementation of SIEM in a large organization, highlighting its functionalities, benefits, and challenges, and conducts simulations to test its effectiveness. The results indicate that SIEM can enhance threat detection and response, ensure regulatory compliance, and improve operational efficiency. However, SIEM implementation requires careful planning, competent human resources, and strong management support.
