Abstract

Universal telecommunication services are one of the government's efforts to ensure equitable accessibility of telecommunication services for all levels of society. However, at this time, telecommunications regulation is entering a collaborative generation, which is characterized by the cooperation of various entities to deal with the impact of the widespread digital economy. The purpose of this study is to analyze the extent to which the government has fulfilled its obligations and responsibilities in providing equitable access to telecommunications in the era of the collaborative generation. The research method used is normative juridical with a qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that while there has been progress in implementing the General Principles of Good Governance in universal telecommunications services, challenges remain in the areas of transparency and accountability, particularly in the allocation of funds and resources. Additionally, disparities in access between urban and rural areas persist, despite collaborative regulatory efforts. The study found that government initiatives, though well-intentioned, require stronger oversight and more inclusive policies to ensure fair and equitable access to telecommunications for all segments of society.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of customer value, trust, and customer satisfaction on customer loyalty, with customer engagement as a mediating variable, focusing on music course customers in Jakarta. Utilizing a quantitative approach, data was collected from 95 respondents who have been customers of music courses for more than three months and are over 18 years old. The data was analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS) with the SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results of the study indicate that trust and customer value positively and significantly influence customer engagement, which in turn significantly enhances customer loyalty. However, customer satisfaction did not show a significant direct effect on either customer engagement or customer loyalty. Additionally, while customer engagement mediates the relationship between customer value and customer loyalty, it does not mediate the relationship between trust or customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. The findings suggest that building customer engagement through perceived value can strengthen loyalty among music course customers. Limitations of this study include a focus on a specific geographic location (Jakarta) and the relatively small sample size, which may affect the generalizability of the results.

Abstract

This research aims to improve GSCM practices at Fish 96, an SME in tilapia aquaculture located in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia. It identifies and addresses some critical business issues regarding reducing the DOA rate, improving operational efficiency, and reducing environmental impacts. The literature review forms the theoretical basis of GSCM practices such as green procurement, manufacturing, distribution, and reverse logistics. A new GSCM maturity model is developed and validated with the case study of Fish 96, which eval_uates the company's current maturity levels and structured improvements. It assesses that Fish 96 stands at the initial stage in the journey of GSCM. Most practices are either nonexistent or at an initial point of implementation. The suggested maturity model includes five levels: Nonexistent, Aware, Intermediate, Advanced, and Sustainable, which represent a clear roadmap for Fish 96 to improve its GSCM performance. The research recommends adopting broad green practices across all supply chain dimensions, emphasising systematic strategies and enhanced supplier engagement by focusing on efficiency measures. With these recommendations, Fish 96 will contribute to reducing operational costs while reducing environmental impacts and improving social outcomes, thus improving the company's long-term sustainability and competitiveness.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate and propose a reconstruction of the corporate governance legal system in Indonesia using the Governance, Risk Management, and Compliance (GRC) approach to enhance governance quality and sustainability. The study identifies existing legal gaps and challenges that hinder effective GRC integration, including regulatory ambiguities, lack of stakeholder understanding, and weak enforcement mechanisms. The research adopts a normative legal method, combining legislative and analytical approaches to evaluate laws such as the Limited Liability Company Law (UU PT) and Financial Services Authority (OJK) regulations. Findings reveal that current regulations focus primarily on compliance without adequately integrating risk management and governance aspects, leading to suboptimal corporate performance. The study proposes regulatory reforms, including the introduction of specific GRC guidelines, and strategies for increasing stakeholder awareness through training and public campaigns. These measures are expected to strengthen corporate governance, enhance accountability, and foster sustainable economic growth by aligning governance practices with global standards. The research concludes that a comprehensive GRC framework is crucial for addressing legal gaps, ensuring transparency, and building resilience in Indonesia’s corporate sector.

Abstract

The Asian monetary crisis of 1997 triggered significant changes in the Indonesian legal system, including the reform of bankruptcy laws marked by the emergence of Law No. 4 of 1998 and later Law No. 37 of 2004 regarding Bankruptcy and Suspension of Debt Payment Obligations (PKPU). This crisis underscored the need for a fair and effective debt resolution mechanism. This research uses a normative juridical approach with descriptive analysis methods to examine the application of the pari passu pro rata partem concept and simple proof in the Bankruptcy Law. The data sources used are secondary data consisting of legislation, legal literature, and related court decisions. The results show that the practice of applying simple proof often leads to inconsistency in judges' decisions because the law does not clearly specify the definition of "simple" in this context. Several cases demonstrate difficulties in simply proving the existence of debts, which ultimately leads to the rejection of bankruptcy petitions. Additionally, the conflict of legal norms between the Bankruptcy Law and the Mortgage Law creates challenges in the execution of mortgage rights. Therefore, under the current context, the Bankruptcy Law, which emerged during the financial crisis, is no longer entirely relevant, and the concept of simple proof in Article 8 paragraph (4) of the Bankruptcy Law and PKPU needs to be reassessed to ensure fairness for creditors and debtors.

Abstract

The Sorong region is known as a natural gas producer in Indonesia, but the local community has not been able to enjoy the gas product, namely LPG, at the same price as on the island of Java or other regions. Investment opportunities to build SPBE in Sorong are very attractive and open very wide. This study aims to analyze the risks that can affect investment in the project. This study uses types and sources of data in the form of primary data in the form of opinions and experiences derived from the results of interviews and Forum Group Discussion (FGD).  The results of the analysis showed that 3 sources of risk were in the very high category, 22 sources of risk were in the high category, 35 sources of risk were in the medium category, 13 sources of risk were in the low to medium category, and 10 sources of risk were in the low category. After being given recommendations for the risk control process, it is estimated that 2 risks are still in the high category and 7 other sources of risk have been successfully downgraded to the medium category. At the planning stage, it is necessary to pay attention to the lack of commitment to gas volume and supply. At the EPC stage, material delays due to community disturbances, land execution, and work accidents need to be dealt with seriously.

The results of the study show that the threat of wildlife smuggling is still very high which has the potential to pose a great risk to national resilience in the context of biodiversity conservation, community protection from various viruses to economic losses that Indonesia can get. From the perspective of strategic intelligence, the supervision of TNOC actions requires various strengthening, especially in strengthening data and intelligence information systems, strategic intelligence resources and creative thinking of law enforcement.
