Abstract

Advances in information and communication technology have driven innovation in the financial sector, such as financial technology (fintech), particularly digital payment services or e-wallets. In Indonesia, the use of e-wallets has grown rapidly, with GoPay and OVO as the two most dominant platforms. E-wallets facilitate various transactions for the public, such as online shopping, bill payments, and money transfers. Based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) theory, interest in using e-wallets is influenced by users' perceptions of convenience and benefits.  The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of perceived benefits and ease of use on interest in using GoPay as a digital payment service in Bengkulu City. The method used in this study is quantitative, and the sample consists of GoPay users in Bengkulu City, with a sample size of 130 respondents. The results of this study indicate that the variables of perceived benefits and ease of use have a significant effect on the interest in using GoPay as a digital payment service in Bengkulu City, both partially and simultaneously.

Abstract

Partnership and MSME Development Program Linking Concrete Strategies Implemented by SRC. The existence of SRC (Sampoerna Retail Community), this association guides partnerships between Sampoerna and conventional retailers to develop their businesses and reach to attract customers. This study aims to identify and analyze the strategies implemented by Sampoerna Retail Community (SRC) in developing grocery store businesses within the Paguyuban SRC Curup Bersatu. The analytical method used is qualitative data analysis, conducted interactively and continuously until data saturation is achieved, through three main stages: Data Reduction, Data Presentation, and Conclusion Drawing. Based on the research findings, it is proven that the Sampoerna Retail Community (SRC) strategy in developing grocery store businesses in Paguyuban Curup is carried out by focusing on Business Performance (increasing sales, store arrangement based on RBT principles), Community Development (establishing connections among traders to mutually develop their businesses), and Technology (utilization of digital features). For the Sampoerna Retail Community (SRC) strategy in developing grocery store businesses in Paguyuban Curup Bersatu to run effectively, supporting factors must be considered, namely: cooperation among multiple parties, the willingness of grocery store owners to progress, and the presence of digital innovation. Meanwhile, factors hindering the development of Paguyuban SRC Curup Bersatu include the limited number of participants and the community's lack of knowledge regarding the Ayo Kelontong application, a digital innovation by Sampoerna Retail Community (SRC).

Abstract

This study examines the communication strategy of Radio Republik Indonesia (RRI) Bengkulu in retaining listeners through YouTube content, focusing on Programa 1’s “Dialog Interaktif Pagi.” The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach to capture how a public broadcasting institution adapts to digital media consumption. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews with key informants (the Head of the Broadcasting Team and the program host), and documentation of broadcasting activities and YouTube content. The analysis is guided by Susan Tyler Eastman’s framework, which highlights five strategic dimensions: compatibility, habit formation, control of audience flow, conservation of program resources, and mass appeal. Findings indicate that RRI Bengkulu aligns program topics and presentation styles with audience needs, maintains listening habits through consistent scheduling and recognizable program identity, and directs audience flow by integrating on-air and online promotion. The station also optimizes limited resources by repackaging broadcast materials into digital formats and strengthening teamwork in production planning. Finally, RRI Bengkulu enhances mass appeal by selecting accessible themes, encouraging audience participation, and using YouTube to expand reach beyond traditional radio listeners. Overall, these strategies help RRI Bengkulu sustain loyal audiences while attracting new viewers in the digital era, supporting the relevance and competitiveness of public radio broadcasting.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze communication patterns between leaders and staff in the Protocol and Leadership Communication Division (Prokopim) of the Seluma Regency Regional Secretariat. Organizational communication is understood as a mechanism that regulates the flow of information and influences the effectiveness of bureaucratic work. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation of the Head of Division, Head of Subdivision, functional officials, and implementing staff. Based on Keith Davis's (1953) communication pattern theory (R. Wayne Pace & Don F. Faules (2010)), the results show that the communication pattern in Prokopim is adaptive. The Wheel and Chain patterns dominate hierarchical formal communication, while the Y-Pattern emerges in inter-agency coordination with the Subdivision Heads as liaisons. At the operational level, the Circle pattern is evident in horizontal discussions among staff, while the All-Channel pattern develops through the use of digital media such as WhatsApp. These findings indicate that the diversity of communication patterns supports smooth work, but there are still obstacles in the form of dependence on leaders, delays in information, and suboptimal management of digital communication. Therefore, delegation of authority, simplification of information channels, and strengthening of digital archives are needed to improve the effectiveness of organizational communication.

Abstract

This study aims to explain in detail the implications of the trade war on multinational companies with a case study of Starbucks expansion in China. The background behind the outbreak of the trade war itself stems from the United States accusing China of illegal practices stealing intellectual property and the United States' growing trade deficit. The trade war by the United States with the imposition of tariffs on several imported products, aims to protect domestic industries and increase employment. However, compared to the benefits, the trade war actually has a negative impact on US industry, both at home and abroad, especially for companies investing in China. Most of the industrial sectors affected are the manufacturing sector, while Starbucks is a multinational company in the food & beverage retail sector. Thus, this study will show that not all companies or industries will be affected by the trade war phenomenon, one of which is Starbucks.
