Abstract

Social justice is the basis of statehood in Indonesia, but its presence in the joints of social life is far from a materialized word. In this case, many people argue that social justice is a very expensive and rare thing to obtain. In Islam, justice is very important, even in the Qur'an the word adil is mentioned 78 times using 3 kinds of words namely al-'Adl, al-Qisth, and al-Mizan. This research will focus on Buya Hamka's definition of social justice along with the characteristics of justice. The approach used in this study is to use a qualitative approach with a type of literature research. The result of this study on the definition of social justice in the Qur'an according to Hamka is true and balanced to all beings, telling the truth, always defending, and fighting for social benefit. As for the characteristics of Hamka's interpretation of social justice in the Qur'an, it tends to emphasize on noble ethics (morals) and apply firmly in upholding a truth, applying balance to anyone without the influence of sentiment other things. In interpreting these verses, Hamka uses the interpretation of bi ar-ra'yi. This proves, too, that we can judge fairly in society through our minds as well as our consciences

Abstract

This article aims to communicate about the QS meme phenomenon. al-Nisa verse 34 relates to leadership authority in the family, as spread on social media. The aim is to look further into the trend of QS consumption patterns. al-Nisa verse 34 of each existing meme and to identify the motive behind the creation of the meme. This type of research is library research using a constructivist approach. The results of this research show that; First, there are at least two tendencies of QS memes. al-nisa verse 34 on social media, namely; memes that start from the textual meaning paradigm and memes that start from the contextual meaning paradigm. Second, the creation of textualist memes mostly only starts from the meaning of the translation of the verse and there is only one meme that has an interpretive reference, only taking classical interpretations and turning a blind eye to quoting the interpretations of contemporary scholars. Meanwhile, contextual memes are created as a result of elaboration between the interpretations of classical and contemporary scholars. Third, the dominance of textual memes is far greater in quantity compared to contextual memes that are scattered on social media, so this has the implication of giving the impression that Islamic teachings seem to discredit the role of women in the family

Abstract

This paper discusses the meaning of gratitude in the Qur'an in the Babarit Tradition in Kuningan. This study uses the history-social approach method, the results of the study show that the value of gratitude contained in the Koran is very broad in meaning, not limited to just an application when you get pleasure alone, but all aspects of life that are felt at that time. is a form to be grateful for. From the other side, in applying a form of gratitude to the Babarit tradition in Kuningan, there is a uniqueness, namely Babarit is an implementation of gratitude which is packaged in the routine activities of the Sundanese community which then has cultural values ​​as a Sundanese ethnic identity and also as a selling point for tourism attraction. in Kuningan.

Abstract

Discussing the hadith about women's journey without a mahram is often discussed by Islamic scholars. There are many differences of opinion which have been explained in the hadiths of the Prophet SAW. which looks authentic and can be used as a guide for readers. The classification of mahram in Islam also includes factors such as lineage, marriage and breastfeeding. In the hadith books explained by Islamic scholars it does not eliminate the textual meaning of mahram. In the Qur'an, mahram is explained in Surah An-Nisa' verses 23-24. In the context of women traveling without a mahram, many scholars do not allow it, because they are worried that women will not be able to maintain their honor. When women travel without a mahram in an emergency, it is permissible.

Abstract

Poda nalima is a philosophy of life for the Mandailing people which tries to invite us to a clean life, both physically and spiritually clean. The contents of poda nalima are 1. Paias Rohamu (Clean Your Heart), 2. Paias Pamatangmu (Clean Your Body), 3. Paias Parabitonmu (Clean Your Clothes), 4. Paias Bagasmu (Clean Your House) and 5. Paias Pakaranganmu (Clean Prohibitions or your environment). Poda nalima is the idea of ​​the ancestors of the Mandailing tribe which still exists in today's life and is a guide or advice in living everyday life. This research uses qualitative methods and conducts field research (Field Research) sourced from the South Tapanuli community and supported by literature study (Library Research). With data collection tools in the form of interviews with traditional leaders, religious leaders, community leaders and one village official.

Abstract

This article discusses interpretation qasam in al-Qur’an. qasam has an important position and role in al-Qur’an. The reason qasam often used as a form taukīd from the sentence intended by Allah. The method in this research is qualitative. In processing the data, the researcher used a descriptive-analysis method, namely explaining the data that had been collected and then analyzing the data to achieve the research objectives. Some of the discussions in this study include definitions and sighat qasam, benefits and muqsam bīh in the Qur'an, all kinds of things qasam, regarding muqsam 'alaih, and conditions qasam. One of the conclusions in this research is the explanation that qasam is a ta’kīd (amplifier) ​​which is famous for emphasizing the truth of what we say and strengthening the truth in the soul

Abstract

Dibalik kepopuleran Mufradat li al-Fadz Al-Quran  karya al-Raghib al-Asfahani, terdapat sebuah karya tafsir dari al-Asfahani yang acapkali tak tersentuh oleh para akademisi. Yakni kitab tafsir Al-Raghib al-Asfahani/Jami’ al-Tafasir. Kendati demikian kitab ini justru menjadi salah satu rujukan penting dalam penulisan beberapa kitab tafsir populer. Karena itu menarik untuk diteliti dan mengenal lebih dekat bagaimana karakteristik dan corak dari kitab Tafsir Al-Raghib al-Asfahani ini. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk meihat bagaimana profil kitab Tafsir Al-Raghib al-Asfahani dan ketidakpopulerannya, serta melihat bagaimana karakteristik dan corak penafsirnanya. Artikel ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analitis. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa kitab Tafsir Al-Raghib al-Asfahani merupakan salah satu kitab tafsir karangan al-Asfahani yang hanya ditulis hingga surat al-Maidah. Saat ini kitab ini ditemukan dalam 3 bagian yang masing-masing ditahqiq oleh Muhammad Abd al- Azīz Basūni, Adil bin, Hindun bin Muhammad Bin Zaid. Kitab ini ditulis menggunakan metode Tahlili dengan mengikuti tartib mushaf, yang bersumber pada Tafsir bil ma’tsur. adapaun corak yang dominan dari tafsrinya ini ialah corak kebahasaan. Ketidakpopuleran dari kitab ini disinyalir karena penulisan tafsir yang tidak utuh 30 juz, dan penyebaran yang kurang masif terhadap kitab ini.

Abstract

This article reveals the crucial problem of treatment using pork-based insulin. It has been widely discussed by the public and reaped controversy pros and cons in the realm of religion. Meanwhile, treatment is one of the creature's efforts to the Creator, which is one of the protections in maintaining adh dharuriyat al khams on the preservation of the soul. The controversy arises because of the insulin containing forbidden substances consumed in diabetes treatment. There are contradictory hadiths that allude to treatment using the haram. So this paper aims to find out the correct and correct understanding of the compromise between the two contradictory traditions by using the science of Mukhtalaf al-Hadiṡ and what are the implications of the hadith of treatment using something forbidden on the use of insulin in people with diabetes. The analysis used in resolving the two contradictory traditions is the al-jam'u wa al-taufiq method. The proof that the use of forbidden substances is prohibited is known by the rapid advancement of technology and knowledge, of course, many new products have emerged to be able to replace the use of forbidden substances, except in emergencies.

Abstract

Sampai sekarang ini masih banyak dijumpai kasus kriminalitas di Indonesia, salah satu tindakan tersebut yakni judi online. Judi menggambarkan sebagai suatu tindakan yang merugikan dan bertentangan dengan nilai-nilai moral serta agama. Catatan berikut akan mengulik lebih dalam tentang kasus judi online yang terjadi dikalangan mamah muda atau bisa dikatakan ibu rumah tangga menggunakan perspektif Al-Qur’an. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan peneliti adalah studi literatur. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa pertama, saat ini tengah marak terjadi kasus judi online dikalangan mamah muda yang akan dikaji dengan kacamata Al-Qur’an. Kedua, motivasi mamah muda ikut judi online. Ketiga, langkah efektif untuk menanggulangi judi online di kalangan mamah muda. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa pertama, walaupun judi online dilakukan oleh mamah muda hukumnya tetap haram dan harus dipenjarakan. Kedua, motivasi mamah muda berjudi online yakni: faktor internal berupa kurangnya nafkah dari kepala keluarga serta tuntutan zaman yang semakin mahal, dan faktor eksternal berupa perkembangan teknologi serta mudahnya pendaftaran judi online. Ketiga, langkah efektif untuk menanggulanginya yakni: membentuk satgas pemberantasan judi online, membuat peraturan dan penegakan hukum yang ketat, dan pengadaan teknologi penyaringan dan pemblokiran situs judi online.

Abstract

This study discusses the development of hadith in the Basrah region, which includes the history of the development of the city of Basrah. Basrah which used to serve as a military base during the expansion period of the Persian conquests under the leadership of Umar ibn Khatab, to its transformation into an intellectually and strategically advanced urban center. This transformation was driven by Basrah's strategic geographical location and became home to a number of important companions such as Utbah ibn Ghazawan, Anas ibn Malik, Abdullah ibn Abbas, and others. This research uses a descriptive analytical approach by relying on the study of relevant primary literature. The main objective of the study was to uncover the role and development of hadith scholars in the first and second centuries of Hijrah in the Basrah region. The findings of the study highlight the significant contributions of various companions and tabi'in figures in enriching and developing the tradition of hadith in Basrah. Their main focus was not only limited to the collection of traditions but also on the development of sanad criticism which was the forerunner of an important methodology for evaluating and verifying the authenticity of traditions that influenced the development of hadith scholarship at large.
