Abstract

Kampus Mengajar is a program initiated by the Ministry of Education and Culture for students to hone their interests and talents in the field of education, and provide new experiences for students that are not obtained through lectures. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement of students' literacy skills through the Kampus Mengajar program at UPT SPF SD Negeri Mattoangin 1. The Kampus Mengajar program is to improve the literacy and numeracy skills of students in Indonesia, because the ability to read is important in aspects of life. The research method used is a qualitative method or subject approach. The analysis technique is based on data and field results. The results of this study are an increase in literacy through the Kampus Mengajar program. Through the literacy program designed by teaching campus students at school, we found the impact given through the literacy program at school as well as each stage of the development of improving students' literacy and the efforts made in improving literacy by students of Kampus Mengajar.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the relationship between siri' culture and the amount of panai' money in the context of Bugis community marriage. By adopting a subjective approach that emphasizes in-depth and interpretive examination, this research seeks to gain a comprehensive understanding of siri' cultural practices and their influence on determining the amount of panai' money. The focus of this research is PaoPao Village, Tanete Rilau District, which is the subject of research with several individuals interviewed using a structured interview guide. Apart from that, participatory observation was also carried out to observe interactions between Bugis tribal communities in the process of determining panai money. The collected data was then analyzed qualitatively using the thematic analysis method on interview transcripts and observation notes. Research findings show that siri' cultural practices have a significant impact on determining the amount of panai' money in Bugis weddings, influencing perceptions, values ​​and attitudes regarding responsibility and commitment in marital relationships. The results of the analysis also reveal the importance of maintaining the continuity and relevance of the siri' and Uang Panai' cultural traditions amidst the social and cultural changes occurring in Bugis society. Triangulation of data from interviews and participant observation also strengthens the validity of this research's findings. Thus, this research makes an important contribution to the understanding of cultural dynamics and traditions in the marriage context of the Bugis community, as well as providing a basis for the development of relevant cultural policies and interventions.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the socio-economic impact of utilizing agricultural land as a tourist attraction. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach collected through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The overall data obtained was analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results showed that Betapus, which is located in Lempake urban village, Samarinda, has two attractions, namely: attractions in the form of natural scenery and attractions in the form of culinary. These two attractions are able to attract the attention of local tourists so that they have an impact on the socio-economic aspects simultaneously. The socio-economic impact of tourism activities is the increase in community livelihoods, the opening of jobs, changes in market prices, the creation of business opportunities, infrastructure development and the issue of social distance between communities arising from tourism activities.

Abstract

A teacher is someone who imparts knowledge to the students he teaches. In selecting quality teachers, schools usually recruit teachers using various criteria and methods. However, what has been voiced recently is regarding the teacher recruitment policy through the marketplace. The aim of this research is to analyze the perspective of Probolinggo Regency teachers regarding the emergence of teacher recruitment policies through the marketplace. The method used in the research is a qualitative method. The research objects are all teachers in Probolinggo Regency. Data collection techniques are interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results obtained were those who agreed and disagreed with teacher recruitment through the marketplace. The reason they disagree is because they feel they don't honor and respect teachers, while those who agree are because it makes it easier for school principals to find the teachers they need. This research can be used as a reference for the government in determining teacher recruitment policies through the marketplace which will be realized in 2024.

Abstract

Torani fish eggs have become an important part of Takalar District's livelihoods and household economics. Mothers make up the vast majority of the Torani fish egg management workforce. Women's dual function in modern society has evolved significantly. The purpose of this study is to look into how female Torani fish egg workers allocate their time. The study employs a qualitative methodology. The study discovered that married female Torani fish egg workers split their time between housework and work outside the home. Although they work 8-10 hours every day, they spend most of their free time with their family. Economic circumstances, kid population, and educational level all contribute to this dual role. However, their public appearance contributes to the family's requirements. Despite this, social connection within the family is intact, and parents continue to instill values in their offspring.

Abstract

Positive self-esteem among young people, combined with social support through social media interactions, provides a significant emotional boost. However, the risk of social comparison remains a challenge that needs to be addressed. This article discusses that adolescents who are exposed to fashion content that emphasizes certain beauty standards tend to have a negative body image and lack self-confidence. In addition, actively participating in digital fashion trends is also an important factor in increasing adolescents' self-confidence. This research is a qualitative research through an interview process. The results show that digital fashion content increases teens' self-awareness, inspiring them to try new styles. However, it also pressures them to conform to unrealistic beauty standards, thus affecting their self-image and confidence. Active participation in digital fashion trends and digital fashion communities boosts teens' self-confidence. Social validation and relationships with like-minded individuals boost self-esteem. Online groups and forums provide emotional support, helping teens find their unique style.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in IPS subjects at SMP Negeri 4 Sigi “With the main problem, namely how the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in IPS subjects at SMP Negeri 4 Sigi. And describe the obstacles and solutions that teachers do in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in IPS Subjects at SMP Negeri 4 Sigi. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, which describes the aspects that are the target of writing research, data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation, data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the form of implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in IPS subjects at SMP Negeri 4 Sigi is by giving freedom to educators, including principals, teachers, and students to determine topics or themes that they are interested in and want to learn. They are also free to determine learning methods that suit their needs. The implementation of learning is divided into 2 main activities, namely intracurricular learning oriented towards learning outcomes (CP) and co-curricular in the form of projects for achieving the Pancasila Student Profile and the Rahmatan lil Alamin Student Profile. However, the observations made by researchers show that it is true that teachers still have difficulties in implementing learning based on this Merdeka Belajar Curriculum. This is in accordance with the observations made by researchers that teachers are still difficult to in still the 6 characters of the Pancasila Student Profile to students with various characteristics.

Abstract

This study also aims to explain the form of strengthening character education in learning Islamic cultural history and explain the development of students' character education through learning Islamic cultural history at MI Alkhairaat Pombewe. This research uses a qualitative research approach. The research was conducted at MI Alkhairaat Pombewe, Sigi Biromaru District. Data collection techniques used in this research are observation, interview, and documentation. While the data analysis techniques that the authors use are data reduction, data presentation and data verification. Based on the results of this study indicate that the form of strengthening character education in learning the history of Islamic culture in MI Alkhairaat Pombewe that the implementation of strengthening character education in learning the history of Islamic culture in MI Alkhairaat Pombewe in class III has been implemented by teachers and has instilled character values to students. The form of strengthening character education is that the teacher has implemented religious values, honesty values, tolerance values, discipline values, curiosity, and creativity. The development of students' character education through learning Islamic cultural history at MI Alkhairaat Pombewe is the implementation of character education activities at school has fulfilled the objectives of the planned activities. It has been determined that there is a positive impact obtained, especially class III students at MI Al-Khairaat Pombewe. With this character education program, the school has become more comfortable, clean, violations of school rules have decreased. And from this evaluation it is said that the implementation of the character education program has taken place and succeeded well. The implication of this research is that the competence of SKI teachers must continue to be improved through activities within the school either through peer tutors or bringing in outside sources. So that character education will be more quickly socialized and implemented in all subjects.
