Abstract

Abstract

Engaging in risky premarital sexual activity is a manifestation of expressing emotions or love through actions. These actions range from simple displays of affection, such as kissing, to having sexual relations outside the bonds of marriage. This behavior is driven by man's natural tendency for sexual gratification, both with opposite-sex and same-sex individuals. While premarital sexual activity that does not contain risk basically creates life in the form of connection, friendship, beauty, kindness, encouragement or motivation, as well as knowing how to express sexual desire so that we become who we really are and not participate in extramarital sex because it will open the soul, spirit (heart) and body to influences and dangers in the long and short term. In this study, the method used is a research method by applying a qualitative approach with literature study techniques. Data analysis is presented descriptively. Qualitative research is based on efforts to build a view of the object under study in detail, formed with words, and a holistic picture. This research begins with collecting data from various literature sources relevant to research, classifying data and formulating methods in data regularity. Data analysis is carried out by inductive analysis, which is analyzing data and then developed in accordance with the formulation of the problem. To overcome the problem of risky premarital sexual behavior, ideal-self quality is needed based on psychological aspects, Christian aspects and social aspects. In the psychological aspect, adolescents are required to have a superego so that they can distinguish right and wrong behavior so that their behavior can be accepted by society. In the aspect of Christianity, the superego is projected onto the external figure of Jesus Christ as a guide for youth in good and true behavior. In the social aspect, adolescents are required to act from the true self and be able to choose a community that can really shape the personality of adolescents.

Abstract

The necessity of each institution in meeting its data requirements raises uncertainties in data governance. Various data versions of the same object create doubts about selecting valid data. Consequently, Presidential Regulation No. 39 of 2019 concerning One Data Indonesia (SDI) was issued, emphasizing the coordination and collaboration of ministries and institutions with other statistical producers, including the Central Statistics Agency, to generate data. This aims to prevent data duplication, ensuring a singular, complete, and valid dataset. Therefore, this study seeks to elucidate SDI and its outcomes in a region that has implemented SDI. The research methodology involves a literature review drawing from various sources on SDI. The study concludes that the implementation of the One Data Indonesia system is crucial to prevent data duplication and enable centralized integration, thereby enhancing data governance quality.

Abstract

The primary objective of this research is to investigate the correlation between emotional intelligence and collaboration styles in the resolution of interpersonal conflicts among adolescents. A direct association is observed, wherein heightened emotional intelligence corresponds to a more positive collaboration style in handling interpersonal conflicts, while diminished emotional intelligence aligns with a more negative collaboration approach. The study involved adolescents aged 16 to 18 years, employing the Try-out technique for subject retrieval. The researcher developed a collaboration style scale for managing interpersonal conflicts among adolescents, referencing Thomas Kilmann Inventory. Additionally, an emotional intelligence scale, inspired by Goleman's theory (2001), was created by the researcher. Data analysis was conducted using the SPSS for Windows Version 15.00 program, confirming a statistically significant relationship between emotional intelligence and collaboration style in managing interpersonal conflicts among adolescents. The Pearson product-moment correlation revealed a coefficient of r = 0.808 with p = 0.000 (p < 0.01), indicating a highly significant association. Consequently, the research hypothesis is accepted.

Education is a transformative tool that is critical to the progress and development of a nation. The goal of true education is more than the cognitive development and creative thought processes. It is also about character molding of a person, making a holistic individual. It is true that the foundation of a quality education is character. An individual's education cannot be complete without character, and the knowledge they have acquired will not benefit Nigerian society or themselves unless their character is transformed. This study identifies character deficit as a major challenge in Nigeria contemporary society. The research examines the issues and prospects, and how education can be applied through character reformation to address the problems. To achieve the purpose of this study, qualitative method research is utilized. It relies on secondary data collected from text books, journal articles, and was analyzed in relation to the scope of the study (Nigeria). The theoretical framework is drawn from the social learning theory of Albert Bandura’s and moral development theory of Jean Piaget which set out the progressive model on how the Nigerian society can be morally re-engineered to produce citizens that will contribute to the progress and growth of Nigeria. It concludes and recommends that an integrative and consensus approach be adopted to achieve this objective.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of gamification learning model on improving students' critical thinking skills in Natural and Social Sciences (NSP) subjects in elementary schools. The research method used was pre-experiment with pretest-posttest research design. The research sample used one class as an experimental group that used the gamification learning model. The research instrument used to measure students' critical thinking skills is a validated critical thinking test. The results of data analysis showed that there was a significant increase in students' critical thinking skills in the experimental group. This finding indicates that the application of gamification learning model can effectively improve students' critical thinking skills in IPAS learning in elementary school. Therefore, the use of gamification in the learning process is suggested as one of the strategies to improve the quality of education and students' critical thinking skills.
