Abstract

PT Alcos Graha Jaya is a company engaged in Steel and Civil Construction, and has two warehouses for storing material goods, namely the main warehouse and the accessories warehouse. Currently, operational activities in the accessories warehouse are still managed manually with Microsoft Excel, and reports are sent via email to the Production Planning and Inventory Control Section (PPIC). Recording of outgoing materials is also still done manually with books. Because the warehouse management system at PT Alcos Graha Jaya has not joined optimally, it is necessary to implement a database-based Warehouse Management System. This system will integrate warehousing controls such as issuing, entering, and returning goods in one platform. Hopefully, the implementation of this software will increase the efficiency and effectiveness of recording production materials from the time the goods are received until they leave the warehouse.

Abstract

The vision and mission of an institution are certainly very important in designing the program that an institution wants to achieve. Because with the vision and mission that has been created. So, each institution will focus on implementing what the institution's goals are. This research aims to describe the vision and mission of the Jabal Rahmah Mulia Kindergarten, Jabal Rahmah Mulia Education Foundation, which is considered successful in directing the education system. Data collection in research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. The research results show that this educational institution is designed not only as a place to transfer knowledge, but also to transfer values, traditions and lifestyle. Students, teachers and employees are guided and encouraged to know, understand, practice and enjoy Islam as a real guide to life, not just theory. So it can be concluded that the planned program is in accordance with the objectives of the current Islamic religious education curriculum.

Abstract

Language, particularly English, which is an international language in Indonesia, is used to communicate in a variety of circumstances. However, many people still do not recognize that teaching vocabulary to children is critical since vocabulary impacts a person's capacity to string words to communicate, therefore it is essential to master when studying English. This is demonstrated by the low mastery of the English language among fourth-grade pupils at SDN Purwamekar Purwakarta District, Purwakarta Regency. Previous academics have identified learning media as a message technology that can be used for educational reasons. The use of the Duolingo app is one of the technology-based English learning approaches. The research approach employed was pre-experimental, with a one-group pretest-posttest design and a simple random sample technique. Its goal is to assess fourth-grade students' comprehension of English vocabulary before and after treatment with the Duolingo application, as well as to determine the effect. This study included a total of 30 students. The findings revealed that (1) the average value of elementary school pupils' descriptive tests for vocabulary knowledge in English before using the Duolingo application was 42.67. (2) After two sessions of treatment with the Duolingo application, the average score of primary school pupils' English vocabulary knowledge climbed to 80.33 from the descriptive test average. (3) The findings of the basic linear regression test suggest that using the Duolingo app improves elementary school students' comprehension of English vocabulary by 24.9%. It may be concluded that variable x, namely the usage of the Duolingo application, influences variable y, namely the mastery of English vocabulary of grade IV primary school pupils, allowing kids to master vocabulary.

Abstract

Modular learning is a form of distance education that employs Self-Learning Modules based on the most essential learning competencies (MELCS) provided by DepEd. These modules contain sections on motivation and assessment, serving as a comprehensive guide for both teachers and students regarding their desired competencies. Modular learning is particularly relevant in the current situation. The threat posed by the Coronavirus or COVID-19 has significantly impacted not only the economic, tourism, and health sectors but has also adversely affected the global education system (Alvarez, 2020). This study aims to validate the modular instructions in relation to learners' study habits, skills, and attitudes in public schools during the COVID-19 pandemic, using a descriptive content analysis approach. The research focuses on selected fifth and sixth-grade students in the International Bureau of Management. Information was collected through surveys and interviews.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of multiple intelligence-based instructional strategies in enhancing the learning experiences and development of secondary high school students. Rooted in Howard Gardner’s theory of multiple intelligences, the research aims to identify how various teaching approaches can cater to diverse learner profiles, including mastery, interpersonal, understanding, and self-expressive styles. The study also investigates the impact of these strategies on developing students’ logical-mathematical, verbal-linguistic, and spatial intelligences. Utilizing a descriptive research design, data were collected from teachers at the International Bureau of Management through questionnaires and analyzed using mean scores and weighted averages. Findings reveal that instructional strategies aligned with multiple intelligences significantly contribute to students’ cognitive, affective, and psychomotor development. Mastery and interpersonal teaching styles were particularly effective in fostering engagement and comprehension, while self-expressive approaches promoted creativity and personal insight. Despite the overall positive outcomes, challenges such as managing classroom behavior and facilitating critical thinking were identified as obstacles to optimal intelligence development. The study recommends that educators integrate diverse instructional methods tailored to multiple intelligences and continuously refine their teaching practices to address these challenges. Ultimately, adopting multiple intelligence-based strategies promotes holistic learning, enabling students to realize their full potential across varied intellectual domains.

Abstract

This study explores the varied responses of CPD (Continuing Professional Development) students from the International Bureau of Management (IBM), particularly those enrolled at the Asian Ministry of De Instituto, toward long-distance learning. The researchfocuses on evaluating students’ experiences with remote education, with particular attention to demographic variables such as age and gender. A descriptive research design was employed, and statistical tools, including the t-test and F-test, were utilizedto assess the significance of differences among variables. Percentages were also used to illustrate comparative data distributions. The sample consisted primarily of male students, with 46 male and 4 female respondents. The findings contribute to a broader understanding of how distance education is perceived by CPD students, offering insights that may inform future instructional strategies and policy decisions.

Abstract

Sejarah Pendidikan Islam menggambarkan perjalanan dan evolusi pendidikan Islam dari masa awal kemunculannya hingga era modern. Pendidikan Islam memiliki riwayat panjang yang berjalan seiring dengan perkembangan agama Islam itu sendiri. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah pentingnya memahami sejarah pendidikan Islam sebagai panduan untuk menghadapi tantangan zaman tanpa kehilangan nilai-nilai fundamentalnya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi kontribusi pendidikan Islam terhadap pembentukan masyarakat yang berakhlak mulia dan mampu beradaptasi dengan perubahan zaman. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan historis, kajian literatur historis yang mengkaji, mengunakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari berbagai literatur, termasuk buku, artikel jurnal, dokumen historis, dan publikasi akademik terkait sejarah dan transformasi pendidikan Islam dari masa Nabi Muhammad SAW, melalui Zaman Keemasan Islam, hingga era modern. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan Islam telah berhasil mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai agama dengan ilmu pengetahuan duniawi melalui madrasah dan institusi pendidikan lainnya. Namun, tantangan modern seperti globalisasi dan teknologi memerlukan reformasi dalam kurikulum dan pendekatan pendidikan. Kesimpulannya, pendidikan Islam tetap relevan dengan mengadopsi pendekatan holistik yang memadukan nilai spiritual dan kompetensi modern untuk membangun generasi yang seimbang dan kompetitif di tingkat global

Abstract

This study aims to develop a career development module for elementary school students. The research method employed Research and Development (R&D), which involved the following steps: (1) identifying potential and problems, (2) data collection, (3) product design, (4) design validation, (5) design revision, (6) product testing, and (7) product revision. Data were collected through questionnaires, including expert validation questionnaires and small group testing questionnaires. The data sources comprised three experts: a Career Guidance and Counseling expert, a Media Guidance and Counseling expert, an Indonesian language expert, and three elementary school teachers for the small group testing phase. Data analysis was conducted using qualitative methods to evaluate the results from expert validations and small-group testing. The research and development process produced an Elementary School Career Development Module deemed suitable for use in fostering career development among elementary school students. The module's feasibility was established through validations by career guidance and counseling experts, media design experts, Indonesian language experts, and small group testing conducted by guidance and counseling teachers and subject teachers at the elementary level. Therefore, the elementary school career development module is recommended to facilitate career development among elementary school students.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pengembangan e-Government dan untuk mengetahui aspek pendukung dan penghambat pengembangan e-Government menuju pelayanan publik berbasis digital di Pemerintah Kota Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, panduan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya diolah dengan analisis interaktif yang terdiri dari pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat diindetifikasi bahwa elemen sukses tersebut melalui support (dukungan), capacity (kemampuan/keberdayaan), dan value (manfaat) masing-masing sudah berjalan dengan baik dan mampu membantu pelayanan publik dan kinerja pegawai melalui berbagai produk aplikasi e-Government yang diberikan pemerintah Kota Palembang. Aspek pendukung meliputi komitmen, adanya pembangunan infrastruktur yang berkelanjutan, dan terpenuhinya sarana prasarana. Sedangkan aspek penghambat meliputi kemampuan dan jumlah SDM terbatas, dasar hukum yang belum terbentuk, alokasi dana yang belum memadai.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji efektivitas model pembelajaran berbasis game edukatif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas III sekolah dasar pada materi penjumlahan dan perkalian. Latar belakang penelitian ini berangkat dari rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang disebabkan oleh dominasi metode pembelajaran konvensional yang kurang mampu mengaktifkan siswa secara optimal dalam proses belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas III SD Riyadlus Sholihin yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok, yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi tes kemampuan berpikir kritis, wawancara, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan signifikan pada nilai posttest siswa kelas eksperimen setelah diterapkannya model pembelajaran game edukasi (Tebak-Tebak Misterius), dengan rata-rata peningkatan sebesar 19,75 poin. Sementara itu, kelas kontrol hanya mengalami peningkatan sebesar 4,75 poin. Hasil uji-t juga menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis game edukasi efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa sekolah dasar, khususnya dalam memahami materi penjumlahan dan perkalian. Model ini direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran inovatif yang menyenangkan dan bermakna.
