Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of innovation in media used by teachers in delivering Arabic language material, the use of school facilities such as laptops and projectors that have not been utilized optimally in learning, and the low value of Arabic language learning outcomes. . This study aims to (1) determine the process of developing Quizizz as a learning medium for Arabic for Class IV MI Darul Falah Salamkanci in the 2022/2023 academic year and (2) determine the quality of Quizizz as a learning medium for Arabic for Class IV MI Darul Falah Salamkanci in the 2022/2023 academic year based on assessments from media experts, material experts, and student responses. This research is development research, or research and development (R&D), using a 3D development model, namely, define, design, and develop. The subjects of this study include one media expert, one material expert, and twenty-six students of class IV MI Darul Falah Salamkanci. The object of this research is a learning application. The instruments used to assess the quality of the application include a questionnaire for assessing media experts, material experts, and student response questionnaires. The results of this study are (1) the development of Quizizz as a learning medium for Arabic for class IV MI Darul Falah Salamkanci, and (2) the quality of Quizizz as a learning medium for Arabic for class IV MI Darul Falah is included in the category of "Very Good" with an ideal percentage of 89.3% based on the assessment of media experts and an ideal percentage of 86% based on the assessment of material experts, as well as the results of student responses from 26 students with an ideal percentage of 92%.

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) To find out the interest of the ArabicLanguage Education Department students of the class of 2022 inusing Instagram as a means of learning Arabic independently. 2) Tofind out the Arabic language learning achievement of the studentsof the Arabic Language Education Department, Class of 2022. 3) Tofind out the relationship between the interest of the ArabicLanguage Education Department students of the class of 2022 inusing Instagram as a means of learning the Arabic languageindependently and the achievement of Arabic language learning.This research uses the quantitative method and includes a type of correlation research, where the  researchers collect data in this study through questionnaires and documentation. The research tools were guiding questionnaires and cumulative student questionnaires and documentation. The data obtained are then reprocessed in the form of numbers by the researchers and the results are interpreted in the form of explanations. The results of the study indicate that students' interest in using Instagram as a means of independent Arabic language learning is categorized as average with 68.60%, students' achievement in learning is categorized as average with 76.74%, and there is a linear relationship between interest in using Instagram as a means of independent Arabic language learning with Arabic language learning achievement for Arabic language education students at Sunan Kalijaka University Class of 2022 with a correlation coefficient of 0.222 and significance of 0.040.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Imla’ Flash Card media in enhancing Arabic writing (Kitabah) skills among third-grade students at MI Ma’arif Sambeng. Additionally, the research evaluates how this instructional media is implemented within the teaching and learning process. Employing a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental method, the study involved 21 students selected through an exhaustive sampling technique. Data were collected through observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The hypothesis was tested using the Independent Sample T-Test. The analysis results indicate that the use of Imla’ Flash Card media is effective in improving Arabic writing skills. This is evidenced by the significance value of 0.009, which is less than 0.05, and the increased average post-test score of the experimental class, which reached 81.55, compared to the control class that scored an average of only 64.90. The findings of this research demonstrate that the use of Imla’ Flash Card media is indeed effective in enhancing Arabic writing (Kitabah) skills among students at MI Ma’arif Sambeng.

Abstract

This qualitative library research investigates the forms and variations of al-Istisnāʾ (exception structures) in Juz 22 of the Qur'an through a syntactic and semantic analysis grounded in Arabic grammar (nahwu). The primary data comprise verses from Juz 22, while secondary sources include classical grammar texts, relevant tafsīr literature, and scholarly journals. Data were collected using documentation techniques and analyzed with content analysis methods, employing categorization tools to identify exception elements, particles (adawāt al-istisnāʾ), and exception types. The study identified 38 occurrences of al-Istisnāʾ across four surahs—Al-Aḥzāb, Saba’, Fāṭir, and Yā Sīn—with the particle illā (إِلَّا) being the most frequent (32 instances), followed by ghayr (غَيْر) and the verb lā yakūn (لا يكون). Each instance was examined for structural completeness (involving al-mustasnā minhu, al-adāt, and al-mustasnā) and contextual meaning. The findings reveal both explicit and implicit exception structures, underscoring the Qur’an’s syntactic richness and semantic nuance. Five types of al-Istisnāʾ were identified, with al-mufarraġ being the most prevalent, particularly in emphatic and negating contexts. These variations reflect the Qur’an’s linguistic depth and the critical role of grammatical accuracy in interpretation. The study offers pedagogical insights by recommending inductive and deductive methods in nahwu instruction and advocates the integration of Qur’anic content into grammar teaching. It also proposes the development of thematic learning modules based on Juz 22 to enhance learners’ linguistic proficiency and spiritual engagement.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Android-based Arabic mufrodat learning media that is feasible and effective for grade 3 students at MIN 3 Bantul Yogyakarta. The method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE model which includes the stages of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of the analysis showed the need for interactive and contextual learning media to overcome students' difficulties in reading Arabic letters and memorizing vocabulary. The media product was developed in the form of an Android application called Al-Araby, validated by media experts, material experts, and teachers, with validation results of 71%, 81%, and 4.8 on a scale of 5, respectively, indicating a high level of feasibility. The effectiveness of the media was tested through pre-test and post-test on 48 students, with an increase in the average score from 81.4 to 96.6. The paired sample t-test results showed a significance of 0.01 <0.05, signifying a statistically significant increase. Learners' responses also showed enthusiasm and increased interest in learning. Thus, this learning media is proven to be valid, feasible, and effective to use in learning Arabic at the elementary level.

Abstract

This research discusses learning Arabic, especially maharah al-qira'ah, using the SQ3R method. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the SQ3R method in learning maharah al-qira'ah in class VIII at MTs An-Nizomiyah Tebo Jambi. This type of research is quantitative research with an experimental approach with a quasi experimental design. Data collection techniques used were tests, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the t-test, but before carrying out the t-test, the researcher used SPSS 29 for the normality test and homogeneity test, because the data must be normal and homogeneous. The results of learning maharah al-qira'ah for class VIII students at MTs An-Nizomiyah Tebo Jambi using the SQ3R method in the experimental class before using the SQ3R method were 54.5769 and after using it were 84.3077. Based on the analysis of test results in the experimental chapter, the t-test shows a calculated "T" result of 12.065 and a "T" table of 1.70814. The result of "T" calculated" is higher than "T" Table. The result of Sig. (2. tailed) is 0.00 which is less than <0.05. This means that there is an influence of the SQ3R method on learning maharah al-qira'ah for students class VIII MTs An-Nizomiyah Tebo Jambi.
