Abstract

Rapid developments in voice-based emotion recognition have made positive contributions to human-computer interaction. This research aims to compare the performance of two algorithms, namely Multilayer Perception (MLP) and Support Vector Machine (SVM), in recognizing emotions based on sound. The data used in this research was taken from Kaggle, which amounted to 1440 voice data. The data is then collected into several emotions which will then be feature extracted from the dataset to eliminate irrelevant information and reduce noise so that the classification results are optimal. The research results show that the classification accuracy using the Multilayer Perception (MLP) algorithm reaches 83%, while the Support Vector Machine (SVM) reaches 82%. Based on the accuracy results of both methods, it can be concluded that the Multilayer Perception algorithm is superior to the Support Vector Machine algorithm in the context of voice-based emotion recognition. Abstract

Time management is an important skill in college. The greater the student's skill in managing his time, the greater the student's academic performance. However, there are students who do not have these skills and almost drop out of college. Therefore, application design and development are carried out.time management using the Octalysis framework gamification method, which is cross-platform-based so it can be accessed anywhere. The application has been completed and has been evaluated by 31 respondents using the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology Model (UTAUT), amounting to 83.20%. From the results of this evaluation, it can be concluded that the time management application was well received by students

Abstract

Dalam era modern, Autonomous VTOL (Vertical Take Of and Landing) telah mengambil peran yang semakin signifikan dalam berbagai aplikasi, salah satunya pengiriman barang. Keberhasilan proses pengambilan muatan ditentukan dari keberhasilan proses deteksi. Pada lingkungan terbuka, deteksi muatan sering kali tidak akurat karena adanya objek lain yang berada di atas tanah. Pada penelitian ini, proses deteksi didasarkan pada fitur warna dan bentuk dari objek untuk meningkatkan akurasi deteksi. Deteksi warna dilakukan dengan memberikan range batas nilai HSV dan menghitung luasan terbesar untuk mengetahui posisi muatan pada gambar. Selanjutnya deteksi Haar Cascade digunakan untuk memastikan apakah fitur bentuk objek sesuai dengan objek yang ingin dideteksi. Deteksi objek dengan hanya menggunakan Haar Cascade digunakan sebagai pembanding. Dari percobaan yang telah dilakukan, deteksi dengan menggunakan Haar Cascade didapatkan nilai akurasi 70.68%, sedangkan kombinasi deteksi kontur warna dan Haar Cascade didapatkan nilai akurasi yang lebih tinggi yaitu 87.93%.

Abstract

Introduction to learning models is key to discussing the approaches used to transfer knowledge and skills to students. Learning models encompass various strategies and approaches designed to create an effective learning environment and stimulate intellectual and social development, particularly in vocational education. Therefore, this research will explore the effectiveness of one learning model in vocational education, namely Problem-Based Learning (PBL). This study implements the meta-analysis method by synthesizing data from 15 research articles from 2019 to 2023. Using secondary data from Classroom Action Research (CAR) studies, this research calculates the effect size to determine the impact of the PBL model on learning outcomes. The results, presented graphically, show a significant effect size (1.02), indicating a very high impact of the PBL model in vocational education. The discussion emphasizes factors contributing to this effectiveness, including a focus on student autonomy, the development of soft skills, and alignment with the demands of the vocational workforce. Overall, the PBL model emerges as a highly effective approach in improving learning outcomes and preparing vocational education students for real-world challenges

Abstract

Penelitian ini fokus pada dampak meningkatnya penggunaan internet secara massif, terutama dalam konteks kehabisan sumber daya IPv4 dan peralihan ke IPv6. Selain itu, penelitian juga menyoroti peran ketersediaan jaringan dan kemampuan dalam mengatasi kegagalan pada router dalam konteks manajemen perangkat dan kualitas layanan. Penelitian ini membandingkan performa HSRP dan GLBP dengan IPv6 menggunakan parameter QoS (Quality of Service), termasuk delay, throughput, downtime, dan packet loss. HSRP menunjukkan kinerja lebih baik daripada GLBP dalam kondisi default, dengan throughput HSRP lebih tinggi (0,128 Bps), packet loss yang lebih rendah (0%), dan delay yang lebih rendah (0,308 ms). Saat terjadi hardware failure, HSRP tetap unggul dalam throughput (perbedaan sekitar 0,695 Bps) namun memiliki packet loss lebih tinggi (0,55%) dan delay yang lebih tinggi (0,566 ms). Downtime yang dibutuhkan oleh HSRP juga lebih cepat (8,13 detik) dibandingkan dengan GLBP (8,6 detik), dengan selisih sekitar 0,47 detik.

Abstract

E-government services have a role in application development, IT governance and E-government development. Employees at the Jambi Province Communication and Informatics Office (DISKOMINFO), especially in the field of E-government services, have a lot of experience and knowledge. However, it is difficult to share with other employees. Due to frequent transfers and the absence of a forum for sharing knowledge, the existing knowledge is not optimally managed. So an E-Government Service KMS is needed for DISKOMINFO in the field of E-government services. The method used is KMSLC and to capture knowledge data using On site observation in the form of interviews and observations. E-government service KMS is implemented and tested using SUS with the results of acceptable indicators and adjective ratings good

Abstract

Dalam perancangan aplikasi Todo Chickin, penulis menyoroti tantangan terkini dalam manajemen tugas sehari-hari. Tulisan ini memperkenalkan pendekatan yang menggabungkan identifikasi kebutuhan pengguna, desain antarmuka yang intuitif, implementasi menggunakan Node.js, serta pembuatan REST API untuk menyediakan solusi yang responsif dan efisien. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menciptakan aplikasi manajemen tugas yang mengakomodasi kebutuhan pengguna dan meningkatkan produktivitas mereka. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metodologi pengembangan yang terstruktur dan penggunaan teknologi modern dapat menghasilkan solusi aplikasi yang responsif, aman, dan mudah digunakan dalam manajemen tugas sehari-hari.

Abstract

The Industrial Engineering Study Program is one of the study programs at the Faculty of Engineering, UPN "Veteran" East Java. In the teaching and learning process, students are required to undertake an internship as a graduation requirement. Currently, the training administration still relies on manual processes, which results in the administration process needing to be more effective and efficient. Given these problems, an internship information system will be produced. This website-based internship information system is implemented so that anyone can access the website anytime and anywhere. Therefore, the relevant parties can access this internship information system more efficiently. The research method for collecting the required data is observation and interviews. This information system uses PHP programming language and MySQL as the database. Based on the results of the tests that have been carried out, this website-based internship information system makes it easier for related parties to administer internship activities. Students can apply for supervisors' internship seminars and upload internship grades, and admins can plot supervisors, provide assignment letters for supervisors, and plot examiners online and systematically

Abstract

Semakin meningkatnya pengunjung website mengakibatkan web server menjadi sibuk merespons permintaan klien. Untuk mengatasi masalah kelebihan beban, penggunaan load balancing menjadi solusi yang efektif. Nginx merupakan aplikasi web server memiliki keunggulan sebagai perangkat lunak sumber terbuka, ringan, dan berkinerja tinggi sebagai HTTP dan reverse proxy. Dalam konteks ini, algoritma penjadwalan menjadi penting untuk menyeimbangkan beban Algoritma penjadwalan seperti Weighted Round Robin (WRR) dan Weighted Least Connection (WLC) menjadi pilihan yang relevan. Pengujian dilakukan dengan mengirimkan 1000, 2000, dan 5000 permintaan dengan bobot server 10:15:20, analisis throughput menunjukkan bahwa algoritma WLC lebih unggul daripada algoritma WRR. WLC mencapai waktu throughput terbaik dengan nilai 108.988 Kbits/sec. Parameter respon time menunjukkan bahwa algoritma WRR memiliki kinerja lebih baik, dengan waktu rata-rata respon sebesar 2.761ms. Untuk parameter packet loss, algoritma WRR juga menunjukkan hasil yang lebih baik, dengan rata-rata nilai packet loss sebesar 56%.

Abstract

Era globalisasi turut membawa perubahan di arus teknologi dan telekomunikasi, terutama teknologi informasi di instansi pemerintah yang membawa perubahan positif pada pelayanan masyarakat. Salah satunya ialah diterapkannya layanan E-Government pada Dinas Pemerintah Kota Palembang, layanan tersebut ialah Aplikasi Sistem Informasi Kearsipan Dinamis Terintegrasi atau yang biasa disebut dengan SRIKANDI. Dalam penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh perilaku pengguna terhadap keberlanjutan penerapan aplikasi tersebut, Theory of Planned Behavior menjadi teori dasar yang digunakan pada penelitian ini. Hasil Penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa variabel Social Influence, Trust E-Government dan Trust Propensity berpengaruh positif terhadap variabel Behavioral Intention yang kemudian variabel tersebut berpengaruh positif terhadap keberlanjutan penerapan aplikasi SRIKANDI
