Abstract

This paper introduces WISE-Engergy, Wireless Integrated Smart Energi Systems. This system is designed to optimize indoor electricity usage by fostering user awareness of energy-saving practices. Users are reminded to turn off electrical devices when leaving the room through notifications on an Android smartphone application. The research aims to increase public awareness of the importance of energy conservation and to apply technology to achieve higher energy efficiency. The contribution of this research lies in the development of an innovative energy-saving system that can be implemented in various indoor environments to support sustainable energy-saving efforts. The test results show that this system successfully achieves its intended goals. The notifications sent to the last user in the room effectively encouraged them to turn off the lights upon leaving. The WSN communication test between room 1 and room 2 also demonstrated that the system could transmit power data from room 2 to room 1 via the XBee module. System evaluation and testing indicated that SENIOR successfully notified users to turn off electrical devices. This research makes a significant contribution to addressing energy-saving challenges and promoting an energy-saving culture in the community.

Abstract

The development of the digital creative industry is growing very rapidly, utilizing information technology as an option, one of which is three-dimensional (3D) representation technology. 3D representation technology drives innovation in various sectors such as virtual reality, filmmaking, video games, geospatial surveying, architecture, and archaeology. 3D modeling of historical objects has gained attention in recent years. 3D model representation of artifacts is an attempt at digital documentation in case the object is damaged. One of the methods in 3D model representation is by using the photogrammetry-based Structure from Motion (SfM) method. The photogrammetry-based Structure from Motion (SfM) method is a stage of creating 3D models from several artifact images captured by a smartphone camera and then processed into 3D objects from a software. Objects in the form of photos in this study were taken directly from several shooting viewpoints in the Ranggawarsita museum. The results of the 3D model in this study can be utilized as digital assets for various purposes such as educational media for historical objects.

Abstract

Aplikasi Dana merupakan suatu layanan keuangan digital yang memberikan kemudahan kepada penggunanya. Terdapat respon negatif pada aplikasi Dana yaitu, Pengguna mengeluh bahwa untuk mengupgrade akun premium sangat sulit, dan juga terjadi kehilangan saldo secara tiba-tiba. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode HEART Metrics sebagai pengukurusan pengalaman pengguna . Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengalaman pengguna aplikasi Dana berdasarkan pengalaman pengguna. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada variabel Happiness mendapatkan nilai sebesar 0,787 status tercapai, Engagement mendapatkan nilai 0,665 status tidak tercapai dan perlu perbaikan, Adopsi mendapatkan nilai 0,787 status tercapai, Retention mendapatkan nilai 0,742 status tercapai, Task Success mendapatkan nilai 0,756 dengan status tercapai. Perlu dilakukan perbaikan atau peningkatan terhadap variabel Engagement agar mendapatkan nilai yang lebih baik dari sebelumnya.

Abstract

Transportasi online merupakan salah satu perkembangan layanan terkini. Dengan tingginya mobilitas penduduk di Indonesia membuat perusahaan transportasi online berlomba memberikan jenis layanan yang sama sehingga menimbulkan persaingan antar perusahaan transportasi online seperti Gojek dan Maxim. Para pengguna mengeluhkan bahwa peta aplikasi tidak diperbarui dan terkadang mengalami kesalahan sistem. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode usability testing sebagai pengukuran user experience. Usability Testing merupakan metode mengukur efisiensi, kemudahan dipelajari, dan kemampuan untuk mengingat bagaimana berinteraksi tanpa kesulitan atau kesalahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan usability testing pada aplikasi Gojek & Maxim berdasarkan pengalaman pengguna. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada kedua aplikasi variabel Efficiency, Memorability, Satisfaction mendapatkan nilai rata-rata diatas 3,00 yang tergolong kategori tinggi, sedangkan variabel Errors aplikasi maxim memiliki perbedaan signifikan dengan nilai 2,85 kategori sedang. Secara keseluruhan terdapat perbedaan usability testing pada aplikasi Gojek dan Maxim berdasarkan pengalaman pengguna di wilayah Kota Pekanbaru.

Abstract

Keberhasilan siswa merupakan tanggung jawab besar dari sekolah sebagai lembaga pembelajaran formal di Indonesia. Proses pendidikan menjadi peran yang sangat penting juga bagi orang tua, selain guru dan siswa. User Centered Design digunakan sebagai metode untuk merancang, membangun dan mengembangkan Aplikasi Sistem Monitoring Sistem Informasi Akademik sehingga dapat membantu sekolah dan orang tua untuk memantau perkembangan belajar siswa. Penelitian ini juga dimaksudkan untuk mengevaluasi efisiensi dan hasil implementasi metode User Centered Design pada sistem monitoring akademik di Pesantren Miftahul Jannah. User Centered Design dipilih sebagai metode penelitian dan framework laravel dipakai untuk mendukung pengembangan sistem. Subjek penelitian adalah Pesantren miftahul Jannah. Pemrograman ini menggunakan framework laravel yang terdiri dari Model, View, Controller. Hasil Cronbach's Alpha, nilai instrumen lebih besar dari 0,70 memiliki reliabilitas yang memadai. Dalam pengujian ini, diperoleh hasil sebesar 0,798, menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi atau sistem ini dapat dimplementasikan, Dengan menghitung rata-rata didapatkan skor 70,47 yang berarti sistem diterima.

Abstract

This paper focuses on the thermal analysis of an automotive radiator within the content of an engine cooling system. The cooling system plays a crucial role in regulating the temperature of a car’s engine. One of the essential components of the car’s cooling system is the cooling fluid. An efficient cooling system is vital in preventing engine overheating and ensuring the vehicle operates at its optimal performance level. A range of different approaches can be utilized to enhance heat transfer performance. To enhance heat transfer in radiator design, increasing the number of fins is a common approach, but this method has limitations, and current technology has already maximized its effectiveness. Nanofluid has been identified as a potential candidate for the automobile sector. Compared to water and water-ethylene glycol mixtures, the heat transfer coefficient of the nanofluid is significantly higher. This thesis investigates the performance of copper oxide nanofluids when mixed with a base fluid. In this study, the outlet temperature of copper oxide nanofluid is compared with ethylene glycol coolant in an automobile radiator. The nanofluid is tested at five different volume concentrations ranging from 0.1to0.5%.

Abstract

Central Sulawesi has a diverse cultural heritage, but the rapid development of technology poses new challenges in maintaining the interest of the younger generation in local culture. This research developed a culture-learning application based on Augmented Reality (AR) using the Marker Based Tracking method for students at SDN Inpres 2 Tanamodindi to address these challenges. The application, "Mari Berbudaya," is designed to increase students' interest in local culture by providing an interactive and innovative learning experience through AR technology. This study employs a qualitative approach and prototyping method. Black box testing results confirm that all main functions of the application work well, while distance testing shows that markers can be optimally detected up to a distance of 1 meter. A questionnaire evaluation of the students resulted in an overall score of 89% with a classification of very feasible. Thus, from the overall evaluation, the "Mari Berbudaya" application has proven effective in increasing students' interest and understanding of Central Sulawesi's culture through AR technology.

Abstract

The implementation of Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) is a crucial step in maintaining network security. This research aims to test the effectiveness of IDS and IPS in detecting and preventing TCP port scanning attacks and ICMP flooding attacks and also providing real-time notifications using Telegram. The methodology used includes configuring a test environment that reflects real network scenarios, where various attacks are initiated to test the IDS and IPS responses. The experimental results show that IDS is able to detect suspicious activity with a high degree of accuracy, while IPS is effective in blocking identified attacks, thereby reducing potential damage to the system. Proper implementation of IDS and IPS can significantly improve network security by early detecting and preventing cyberattacks.

Abstract

This research develops an accident detection system using supervised machine learning with YOLOv8 for object detection. The stages include data collection, labeling, model training, and system implementation with Telegram notifications. Data is taken from sample videos, converted into frame-by-frame images, and labeled with LabelImg. YOLOv8 is trained to recognize five object classes: car, accident, truck, person, and motorcycle. Implementation is done in Python with OpenCV, ultralytics, and cvzone. The system sends real-time notifications to Telegram upon an accident, achieving an average accuracy of 0.914 with notification times of 287.2ms – 334.1ms. This system aids traffic monitoring and quick response to accidents, reducing the negative impact of traffic accidents.

Abstract

The advancement of machine learning-based technology spread widely, especially in oil palm. Oil palm has become a main source of domestic products because of its high production and a leading commodity where it cannot be separated from the use of machine learning. However, the potential of machine learning has not yet been identified specifically through bibliography aspects where those aspects are needed for future research. The main objective of this research is to analyze trends of machine learning utilization and potential topics in oil palm by using bibliometric analysis to obtain year distribution, author productivity, citation, and keyword co-occurrence. As a result, the highest peak number of publications is 2023 where the most cited authors are Haohuan Fu and Weijia Li. Then, the most used algorithms are deep learning, ANN, SVM, RF and CNN based on the occurrences while the tree detection and counting topic has the highest citation articles. The result indicates that scientific interest in the study of this research benefits as a starting point for future works.
