Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis aksesibilitas website bank swasta di Indonesia bagi pengguna lanjut usia berdasarkan standar Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif deskriptif dengan objek 30 website resmi bank swasta di Indonesia. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan alat evaluasi aksesibilitas otomatis aXe DevTools. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 962 pelanggaran aksesibilitas dengan rata-rata 32,07 pelanggaran per website, yang seluruhnya termasuk dalam kategori critical dan serious. Ditemukan 22 jenis error aksesibilitas, dengan pelanggaran paling dominan berupa tautan tanpa teks yang dapat dikenali, gambar tanpa teks alternatif, frame tanpa nama yang dapat diakses, serta elemen dengan rasio kontras warna di bawah standar. Pelanggaran tersebut berdampak pada keterbatasan akses lansia, terutama terkait mobilitas, penglihatan, kognitif, dan pendengaran. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa website bank swasta di Indonesia belum sepenuhnya memenuhi standar WCAG 2.1 dan masih kurang memperhatikan kebutuhan pengguna lanjut usia, sehingga diperlukan peningkatan pengelolaan aksesibilitas website sebagai bentuk tanggung jawab digital.

Abstract

Tujuan penulisan penelitian untuk mengetahui peran Public Relations, kegiatan Public Relations, dan media komunikasi risiko pada program sosialisasi perlintasan KAI Daop 2 Bandung. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data observasi, wawancara, dan studi literatur. Objek pengamatan dari laporan ini adalah komunikasi risiko melalui kegiatan sosialisasi perlintasan yang dilakukan oleh PR PT KAI Daop 2 Bandung. Hasil menunjukan bahwa PR PT KAI dalam melaksanakan sosialisasi perlintasan mengimplementasikan 4 peran PR sebagai penasihat ahli, fasilitator pemecah masalah, fasilitator komunikasi, dan teknisi komunikasi. Menjalankan 4 kegiatan Public Relations seperti media relations, community relations, government relations, internal communications.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pembentukan identitas digital dan struktur kekuasaan dalam komunitas Roblox, dengan fokus pada praktik top donatur dalam clan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan netnografi melalui observasi partisipatif, interaksi langsung, serta wawancara yang dilakukan selama delapan bulan pada lima experience Roblox bertema club party. Data dianalisis untuk melihat bagaimana simbol, interaksi, dan praktik ekonomi virtual membentuk relasi sosial dan hierarki kekuasaan di dalam komunitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa identitas digital pemain dibangun melalui representasi visual seperti avatar, item virtual, dan tampilan nama, serta diperkuat oleh pola interaksi dan norma yang berlaku dalam clan. Praktik top donatur berperan sebagai mekanisme utama dalam pembentukan kekuasaan, di mana kontribusi donasi tidak hanya memiliki nilai ekonomi, tetapi juga simbolik. Billboard donation berfungsi sebagai ruang publik virtual yang memproduksi pengakuan sosial, legitimasi status, dan kompetisi antaranggota. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kekuasaan dalam komunitas virtual Roblox terbentuk melalui kombinasi modal visual, ekonomi, dan sosial yang dilegitimasi oleh sistem dan budaya platform.

Abstract

High exposure to diverse content on TikTok plays a significant role in shaping the identity of Generation Z students. Through continuous interaction with trends, challenges, and viral content, students are exposed to new values, norms, and communication styles that may influence how they perceive themselves and others. This process contributes to the formation of their mindset, interpersonal communication patterns, and ways of expressing emotions and opinions. As a result, TikTok becomes a social space where identity is constructed, negotiated, and displayed. However, this phenomenon also raises important concerns. The values and behaviors promoted on TikTok do not always align with the values instilled by family environments and educational institutions. Differences between online cultural trends and offline social norms may create tension in students’ identity development. They are often required to negotiate between expectations from their digital communities and the norms upheld by parents, teachers, and schools. Therefore, the main issue addressed in this study is how Generation Z students absorb, interpret, and adapt the influence of TikTok in the process of personal identity formation, and how this process interacts with family and school values. Using a qualitative approach, this research aims to examine the role of TikTok in shaping Generation Z’s identity in the context of interpersonal communication

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pesan moral dalam film Hello Ghost karya Indra Gunawan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif melalui metode analisis semiotika Roland Barthes. Film Hello Ghost merupakan adaptasi dari film Korea tahun 2010 karya Kim Young-tak, yang memadukan unsur horor, komedi, dan drama keluarga. Ceritanya berpusat pada tokoh Kresna, seorang pria kesepian yang terus gagal bunuh diri hingga akhirnya bertemu empat arwah yang membantunya menemukan kembali makna hidup dan cinta keluarga. Melalui kisah ini, film menampilkan perpaduan humor dan keharuan yang menyentuh, serta menggambarkan pentingnya kasih sayang, pengampunan, dan penerimaan diri. Dalam penelitian ini, data dikumpulkan melalui dua teknik, yaitu observasi dokumenter dan studi pustaka. Observasi dilakukan dengan menonton film Hello Ghost secara teliti dan berulang untuk mencatat tanda-tanda visual dan verbal, seperti dialog, ekspresi wajah, gerak tubuh, tata busana, serta teknik sinematografi. Studi pustaka dilakukan dengan menelaah literatur mengenai teori komunikasi, semiotika, gender, dan media untuk memperkuat interpretasi. Analisis dilakukan berdasarkan tiga konsep utama dalam semiotika Roland Barthes, yaitu denotasi, konotasi, dan mitos. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa film Hello Ghost memuat pesan moral tentang pentingnya kasih sayang keluarga, tanggung jawab, keberanian menghadapi masa lalu, serta keikhlasan dan penerimaan diri. Melalui perjalanan tokoh utamanya, film ini menegaskan bahwa cinta keluarga bersifat abadi dan menjadi sumber kekuatan moral serta spiritual dalam menghadapi kehidupan. Dengan demikian, Hello Ghost berfungsi sebagai media refleksi etis yang mengajarkan nilai kemanusiaan, empati, dan kebijaksanaan batin dalam kehidupan modern.

Abstract

This study examines the formation of affiliate practices through social interactions in YouTube live streaming, focusing on the @set1awanade channel. Grounded in Pierre Levy’s New Media Theory, this research aims to identify the forms of social interaction that underlie organic affiliate practices and to analyze how social integration is constructed among streamers, audiences, and brands. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed, using content analysis of live streaming recordings and in-depth interviews with three selected informants who have engaged in purchasing based on the streamer’s recommendations. The findings reveal that affiliate practices emerge organically through three main interaction patterns: (1) audience-initiated communication via the Saweria donation platform, which allows viewers to influence discussion topics; (2) the internalization of the attention economy as a social ritual, where donation value determines message visibility and response priority; and (3) the development of authenticity through parasocial closeness, fostering trust between the streamer and audience. Furthermore, social integration is formed through dynamic interactions in the live chat, the use of community-specific symbolic language, and the streamer’s role as a validator who legitimizes product recommendations. This study concludes that in the new media environment, social interaction and integration function as the primary foundation enabling the emergence of affiliate practices. Economic actions, such as purchasing through affiliate links, are preceded and strengthened by social processes within the digital community. These findings highlight the importance of community-based engagement in developing sustainable and effective digital marketing strategies, this study also offers practical implications for content creators and digital marketing practitioners.

Abstract

Roblox, as a Metaverse platform, is increasingly recognized as a medium that supports interaction for school-aged children (7–12 years old), which also has the potential to shape children's communication patterns and social skills. This study aims to explore the role of Roblox as a medium of interaction for school-aged children, analyze the communication patterns that emerge between children, and identify whether children's communication skills can be improved through various communication features in Roblox. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with the research location in Windujaya Village. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and also participatory observation of children and parents, supported by library observation, then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results show that Roblox is proven to function as a relatively rich communication medium with the integration of verbal cues (chat), nonverbal cues (avatars, emotes, dances), rapid feedback, and identity personalization through avatar customization through its various features. Knowledge is also formed of two-way (personal) and multi-way (group) interaction patterns, which have the potential to be a means of cooperation, negotiation, and coordination during play. Thus, Roblox certainly plays a role as an interactive medium that can improve children's communication skills, although it still requires parental supervision and the use of security features to minimize negative factors in virtual interactions.

Abstract

In response to mounting public pressure and criticism on social media, the Indonesian National Police (Polri) implemented a counter-issue strategy by posting apologies, messages of empathy and details of various religious activities on the Instagram account @divisihumaspolri. This formed part of their response to the tragic incident during a demonstration involving aBrimobtactical vehicle, which resulted in the death of an online motorcycle taxi driver. This tragedy triggered a crisis of public trust in the National Police Chief. This study aims todeterminethe extent to which efforts to restore the institution’s image have been carried out using a counter-issue strategy and how the public perceives these efforts. Interview techniques, accompanied by observation of posts on the Instagram account @divisihumaspolri and a literature review, were employed in this study, which is based on a descriptive qualitative method. To ensure the validity of the research results, source triangulation was employed as a data analysis technique. The main finding of this study is that the public perceives the National Police’s communication as still being defensive and lacking transparency. The communication strategies implemented have not been fully effective in restoring the National Police’s image and public trust, asevidencedby negative public sentiment.
