Abstract

The onset of stretch Marks makes some people feel insecure. The author made a scrub made from gotu kola leaves. This study aims to determine how to make scrub leaves gotu kola, knowing the feasibility sensory test and knowing the condition of stretch marks after using scrub leaves gotu kola. This study was conducted by observation, interviews, questionnaires, experiments, documentation, and literature. The analysis used qualitative descriptive analysis. The manufacture of powder starts from the preparation of tools and materials, washing, weighing, drying, rarefaction, weighing dry leaves. The powder is taken to taste and mixed using olive oil. The product results are submitted to five expert validators to test the feasibility of the product using sensory tests. The feasibility of the product was tested by color averaging 4,7 in the very decent category, aroma averaging 4,1 in the decent category, texture averaging 4,1 in the decent category, ease of use averaging 3,9 in the moderately decent category, packaging averaging 4,9 in the very decent category. There is an improvement in the product that is more mashed powder, mixing powder using warm water and olive oil in a ratio of 1:2 and cooling scrub enough 5-10 minutes. Based on the results of the feasibility of the product can be concluded concluded that the product scrub leaves gotu kola feasible to be a new innovation in the manufacture of scrubs. The use of scrubs for 6 times conducted by 10 respondents resulted in the condition of stretch marks that fade, skin texture becomes more flat and the stretch decreases.

Abstract

Almond crispy is one of the flat-shaped pastries and crunchy texture that is quite popular in Indonesia. As an effort to innovate the almond crispy almond crispy ingredients are diversified with mocaf flour and given a sprinkling of ketapang seeds. The purpose of this study is 1) to determine the public's acceptance of almond flour crispy Mocaf with Ketapang seed sprinkles; 2) to determine the composition of materials used in the manufacture of almond flour crispy ketapang seed sprinkles mocaf the most preferred community. The research methods used are library methods, experiments, documentation, questionnaires and sensory tests. The results showed that almond crispy mocaf flour with a sprinkling of ketapang seeds using 100% mocaf flour is the most preferred product. The composition of the ingredients used in the manufacture of almond crispy mocaf flour with Ketapang seed sprinkles consists of 100 g of mocaf flour, 80 g margarine, 80 g refined sugar, 30 g egg white, 20 g cornstarch, 20 g butter, 10 g Ketapang seeds, and 1 g salt.

Abstract

The amount of newspaper waste makes the writer want to use newsprint as the basic material for making nail art extensions as a new innovation in the nail art field. This research was conducted with the methods of observation, documentation, literature, experiments, interviews and questionnaires. The manufacture of nail art extensions using newspaper waste is carried out in 3 stages, namely, the preparation of tools and materials, the process of making nail art extensions using newspaper waste and the final stage of using nail art extensions on fingernails. The feasibility of nail art extensions using newsprint waste, the color indicator has an average value of 4 which is declared feasible, the shape indicator has an average value of 4.5 which is considered quite feasible, the texture indicator has an average value of 4 which is considered quite feasible, the ease of application indicator obtains an average value. an average of 4.5 was declared quite feasible and the product design indicators obtained an average value of 4.3 with a fairly decent category. The results of a public test conducted on 38 respondents can be concluded that 94% like nail art extension products from newsprint waste. The results of this study produce a product that has a unique and attractive design because of the pattern of waste newsprint that makes the product look aesthetic. Thus, it can be concluded that nail art extension products using newsprint waste are quite feasible to use.

Abstract

Rambutan is a seasonal fruit that is easy to find in tropical areas like Indonesia. Rambutan seeds contain fat, polyphenols (flavones, flavonoids, resveratrol, and isoflavones, and vitamin C. Fophenols in rambutan seeds function to increase anti-inflammation and reduce acne. The study was conducted by methods of observation, documentation, literature, experiments, questionnaires and questionnaires. The composition is 8 pcs rambutan seeds, 120 ml of ethanol, 15 ml of olive oil, 1 tsp of vegetable glycerin. This research aims to find out and explain the manufacturing process, benefits and public acceptance of rambutan seed serum The sensory test of the two validators, namely thick serum and the ingredients for making Face Serum is correct. Use of facial serum is carried out 2x a day, in the morning after washing your face and at night before going to bed, to get results. Public test results on 35 respondents to find out public acceptance, 97 % of respondents liked the use of rambutan seeds as a facial serum, 100% of respondents liked the brownish yellow color, 100% of respondents liked the fragrant aroma of olive oil, 100% of respondents liked the non-coarse texture, 100% of respondents liked facial serum which when applied directly sticks to facial skin . It can be concluded that the use of rambutan seeds as a facial serum to reduce acne is a new product innovation in the field of beauty. Clinical trials and product durability tests are needed for rambutan seed as a facial serum to reduce acne.

Abstract

Ribbon embroidery is an embroidery art that uses ribbons as the embroidery material, the development of ribbon embroidery to be applied to the clohting is still something that is rare because usually ribbon embroidery is only used in the manufacture of household linen or just as decoration. Likewise with webbing which is usually found on objects made of bamboo, because woven is rarely used in decoration on clothing. Destination making this report to find out the process of making decorated clothes using ribbon and woven embroidery. The methodology. The methodology used is Research and Development (R&D) method, data analysis using Analysis Descriptive. Making ribbon and woven embroidery that is applied to clothing through several stages, namely: 1) determining the fashion design, 2) the process of embroidering robbon, 3) weaving process, 4) validation, 5) sizing on the model, 6) pattern making, 7) cutting material, 8) making seams, 9) pressing, 10) sewing process, 11) finishing. The process of making clothing needs to be done carefully, to produce appropriate clothing. On sewing the skirt with refence to the pattern Singo Sato should be done carefully when sewing curved, because it can make the fabric stretchy if it’s too tight holding it in the sewing process. And it will make the stitching result not according to size.

Abstract

Purslane plant is an herbal plant that is used as a medicine for skin infections. The author is interested in using the purslane plant as a peel-off mask to relieve acne nodules. The aim is to find out how to manufacture, sensory test results, public test results, and determine the effect of the purslane peel-off mask. This research was conducted with the methods of observation, experimentation, documentation, interviews, questionnaires, literature. The analysis used is descriptive qualitative analysis. The manufacture of purslane powder starts from the preparation of tools, materials, cleaning, drying, and refining. The manufacture of peel-off masks begins with the preparation of tools, materials, weighing, mixing, heating, and packaging. The feasibility of the product is tested based on color, aroma, texture, adhesion, product appearance. Product improvement is the addition of essence to the peel-off mask. In conclusion, according to the validator, the purslane plant powder is suitable for use in making peel-off masks and the results of the purslane peel-off mask facial treatment can relieve acne nodules. Suggestions for further researchers to change purslane plant powder into oil extract to maintain its content, BPOM test, and laboratory tests.

Abstract

Streetwear is street clothing that is used every day and can be combined with various clothes that create a relaxed yet attractive effect. Batik, the fabric that is characteristic of Indonesia, is also widely combined with various models of clothing. Origami combination that would be applied to the fabric aimed to create decorative techniques so that the clothes are unique and interesting. The aim of this study was to determine how is the process of making batik streetwear with origami decorative techniques. The research method used was qualitative. The data collection methods used was literature, observation and documentation. The combination of origami placed on the shirt and outer sleeves produced a different artistic value, with the composition that has been considered so that they will look harmonious when wearing origami and batik. The production of this dress used the basic pattern of the Soen system so as to obtain pieces of clothing, darts, sleeves and sizes that are comfortable when worn. The conclusion of making streetwear that has been done was the cutting process of batik and materials must be done correctly. Then, pressing was also important to obtain good origami results.The suggestions for the next opportunity in making origami was on the arms should use layers to obtain arms that have firmness. The manufacture of streetwear clothing with a combination of origami should pay more attention to the materials used and the pressing process.

Abstract

Ready to wear is ready-to-wear clothing for various occasions with the addition of various interesting variations. One of them is a variation of macrame. Macrame began to be applied to clothing. The problems studied was how the process of making ready-to-wear looks for fantasy and dramatic exotic styles and the application of macrame decorations on clothing. The aim of this report was to know the process of making ready to wear fantasy looks and dramatic exotic styles and the application of macrame decorations to clothing. The method used was R & D. The process of making Ready To Wear includes determining the fashion design, preparing tools and materials, applying measurements, making patterns, cutting materials, marking the stitches on the fabric, ironing upholstery, and sewing clothes. The main materials of this clothes were drill cloth in red, black, white, toyobo fabric in red, black, brown, yellow, and sekar Jagat batik fabric. It used a Japanese anime cartoon fantasy look, Tsundere characters. The style used was Exotic Dramatic Style. The decoration used was macrame. Making macrame was done by hanging it so it did not move. The macrame was made consistently so it did not hang and stretch for too long. The application of macrame to clothing was spread to avoid the spread of macrame. The size of the furing cloth used must be shorter than the main material so that the result was neater.

Abstract

Balinese cotton knitting yarn is the main material in making knitting applications on ready to wear. The author applies knitting applications including techniques, materials, color harmony, and design. The goal is to find out how to apply the knitting technique using balinese cotton knitting yarn on ready to wear. The research method used is R&D which contains potential problems, data collection, product design, design validation, design revision, product trial, product revision, usage trial, and product revision, and descriptive data analysis. The manufacturing stages start from the design, tools and materials, tailoring, to the finishing process. The application of knitting on this ready to wear uses a hand sewing technique that is done before the sewing process, in order to get a neat result. The author also pays attention in the selection of the color of the base material that matches the knitting thread. The application of knitting applications must consider the texture of the yarn with the base material to be used, so that when applied in ready to wear it looks neat and does not seem heavy.

Abstract

Gothic is a clothing style that is characterized by striking, mysterious, exotic, and complex dark features, in this study the author adds fabric painting with Dayak ethnic motifs on synthetic leather in a gothic look. This study aims to determine the process of making a ready-to-wear gothic look with variations of synthetic leather details and painting of Dayak ethnic motifs. The method used in this research process is a qualitative method. The process of making ready-to- wear which consists of a blazer, crop top, obi belt, and skirt begins with determining the fashion design, making patterns from basic patterns to breaking patterns, cutting materials, marking stitches, then sewing the sides of the crop top, combining with lining, attaching zipper and collar, sewing the sides and lining of the blazer, combining the main material and the lining, attaching the painting to the back, attaching the buttons, then sewing the sides and lining of the skirt, then combining the main material and the lining, reassembling, then combining the main material and the lining , reassembling, painting variations, installing tires on the waist, followed by combining all sides with a furing obi belt, sewing the waist, then installing chicken eyes, finally painting the Dayak ethnic motif on the skin, starting with making a pattern sketch of the motif, then installing it on the cloth, block the motif with white, and the last one gives color to the motif.
