Abstract

Human Resource Development (HRD) is a key element in enhancing the competitiveness and productivity of an organization or country. Education and training play a central role in this process, as they not only equip individuals with the necessary knowledge and skills but also aid in personal and professional development. This study aims to analyze the basic concepts and definitions of HRD, as well as its vital role in achieving organizational goals. This research is a library research study that seeks to explore and analyze various literature sources related to the concept of Human Resources (HR) and its development within the organizational context. The findings also reveal that well-designed training programs, tailored to the specific needs of both the organization and the individual, are more likely to enhance performance and productivity.

Abstract

This study uses a quantitative approach and survey method to investigate the impact of job stress and workload on job satisfaction among e-commerce employees in Indonesia, with social support as an intervening variable. The research sampled 100 full-time employees selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected via a validated and reliable questionnaire and analyzed using Covariance-Based Structural Equation Modeling (CB-SEM) with SmartPLS 4 software. Path analysis was employed for hypothesis testing, assessing significance with p-values and T-values. Results indicate that job stress significantly affects job satisfaction (p < 0.005, T = 3.033) and social support (p < 0.005, T = 4.750). Workload also significantly impacts job satisfaction (p < 0.005, T = 5.169) and social support (p < 0.005, T = 3.800). Social support significantly influences job satisfaction (p < 0.005, T = 5.169). Mediation analysis shows that job stress and workload have significant indirect effects on job satisfaction through social support (p < 0.005, T = 6.633 for job stress; p < 0.005, T = 5.569 for workload). These findings highlight the importance of social support in mitigating the effects of job stress and workload on job satisfaction.

Abstract

The Shopee application is an online market platform that provides a means for sellers (business owners) to interact with buyers. Or a means to buy some products that consumers want. Shopee products cover various categories, such as electronics, kitchen equipment, and fashion. In achieving its target, Shopee uses a live feature on the Shopee application called Shopee Live. Shopee Live is one of the supporting features in the Shopee application that aims to promote products sold with various attractive discounts, usually these discounts are only available during live. Which sometimes allows application users to watch and follow the Shopee Live. In promoting their products live, sellers must be able to influence consumers or viewers who watch the live or even sellers must be able to convince consumers to buy products that are promoted live. Therefore, sellers must be able to understand persuasive communication techniques to invite consumers to be interested in the products they sell. Persuasive communication is used to influence the beliefs, values, and attitudes of consumers. Many persuasive communication theories are closely related to the marketing of a product or service. The influence of persuasive communication is very large for products sold in the promotion process and sellers must have the ability to convince consumers when promotions on Shopee Live take place.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi, mwndeskripsikan, dan menganalisis nilai nilai pendidikan karakter dalam komunikasi menggunkan WhatsApp yang dilakukan antara mahasiswa dan dosen. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode  membaca. Data berasal dari komunikasi teks percakapan mahasiswa Program Studi Manajemen  di Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Balikpapan menggunakan WhatsApp. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi dokumentasi, pembacaan, dan pencatatan. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai karakter seperti religiusitas, nasionalisme, integritas, kemandirian, dan kerja sama teridentifikasi dalam komunikasi tersebut. Namun, nilai-nilai seperti cinta lingkungan, loyalitas, anti-korupsi, antidiskriminasi, dan antikekerasan tidak ditemukan. Fungsi komunikasi yang teridentifikasi mencakup fungsi edukatif, religius, sosial, dan budaya. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi WhatsApp antara mahasiswa dan dosen tidak hanya menjadi media informasi akademik, tetapi juga sarana internalisasi nilai-nilai karakter, meskipun beberapa nilai penting masih kurang tercermin.

Abstract

The role of teachers cannot be separated from the achievement of national education goals, because success in education is closely related to their contribution. Teachers play an important role in determining the quality of education in Indonesia. This research aims to determine the effect of certification on teacher performance through competence and work discipline at SMKN in Makassar City. This research uses quantitative methodology. The population in this research is teachers at SMK Negeri Makassar who have been certified as many as 100 teachers. Data collection using questionnaires, observation and documentation, with data analysis methods involving descriptive analysis and path analysis. The results of the analysis obtained findings that; 1) certification has a real impact on teacher competence; 2) certification has a real impact on teacher competence; 3) certification has a real impact on teacher performance; 4) competence has a real impact on teacher performance; 5) work discipline has a real impact on teacher performance; 6) competence can mediate the effect of certification on teacher performance; 7) work discipline plays a role in mediating the impact of certification on teacher performance at SMKN in Makassar City.

Abstract

Teachers have an important role in the formation of character and attitudes of students. It is said that teachers are qualified because of their role in developing the intellectual, emotional, and spiritual of students. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of digitalization of learning, professional competence and work commitment moderated by organizational culture on student achievement at Public Junior High Schools in Makassar City. The approach in this study used quantitative research. The sample selected teachers at several Public Junior High Schools in Makassar City were determined as many as 100 teachers. The results of the study obtained the findings that digitalization of learning had a positive and significant effect on student achievement. Professional competence had a positive and significant effect on student achievement. Work commitment had a positive and significant effect on student achievement. The results of the moderation test obtained the findings that organizational culture could not moderate the effect of digitalization of learning on student achievement. Organizational culture moderates or strengthens and significantly the effect of professional competence on student achievement. Then organizational culture moderates or strengthens and significantly the effect of work commitment on student achievement at several Public Junior High Schools in Makassar.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) How is the management of social media-based educational marketing strategies at the modern Islamic boarding school for memorizing the Qur'an, Muhammadiyah boarding school (MBS) At-Tanwir Mamuju, (2) Can the management of social media-based educational marketing strategies that are implemented increase students at the modern Islamic boarding school for memorizing the Qur'an, Muhammadiyah boarding school (MBS) At-Tanwir Mamuju. This study uses a qualitative approach. The analysis technique in this study uses interactive analysis techniques, namely data collection, data presentation, reduction and conclusions to determine the management of social media-based educational marketing strategies. The results of the study show that since 2020 to 2024 Muhammadiyah boarding school (MBS) has implemented a social media-based educational marketing strategy as a marketing promotion media, from the implementation of social media-based marketing strategies there has been an increase in the number of students by presenting a good image to the public to convince parents of students to use educational service products offered through social media websites, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.

Abstract

Perceraian dapat menimbulkan sengketa hak asuh anak, salah satu contoh kasusnya ditemukan dalam Putusan Pengadilan Tinggi Palu Nomor 4/PDT/2021/PT PAL. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesesuaian antara pertimbangan hakim dalam Putusan a quo dengan hukum adat Bali dan peraturan perundang-undangan terkait serta mengetahui akibat hukum Putusan a quo terhadap hubungan kekeluargaan anak dan orang tuanya apabila ditinjau dari hukum adat Bali. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pendekatan yuridis normatif dan deskriptif analitis. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode analisis yuridis kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa pertama, pertimbangan hakim dalam Putusan a quo sesuai dengan peraturan perundang-undangan terkait dan ketentuan adat Bali, namun untuk memperkuat pertimbangannya Majelis Hakim dapat menambahkan ketentuan Desa Pakraman atau Keputusan Majelis Utama Desa Pakraman Bali (MUDP) Nomor 01/Kep/PSM-3/MDP Bali/X/2010. Kedua, Putusan a quo menimbulkan 3 (tiga) akibat hukum, yaitu 1) Terbanding berstatus mulih daha 2) Pembanding berkewajiban untuk menyelenggarakan upacara adat bagi anaknya 3) hak asuh anak diberikan kepada Terbanding, namun tindakannya yang membatasi akses Pembanding membuat hubungan kekeluargaan anak dan keluarga purusa menjadi renggang.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the Influence of Work Ability and Work Environment on Employee Performance Through Work Motivation at the Regional Education and Culture Office of West Sulawesi Province. This study is classified as a survey study with a quantitative approach. The population in this study was 167 employees with a sample technique of saturated samples (Census). Data were collected using a questionnaire with a Likert scale as an alternative answer choice. The data analysis technique used in testing the hypothesis was path analysis with the help of SPSS and Amos. The results of the study showed that employee work ability did not have a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance, while a conducive work environment had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work ability also did not significantly affect work motivation, but a good work environment contributed to increasing employee work motivation. In addition, work motivation directly affected employee performance, highlighting the importance of motivational factors in achieving optimal results. This study provides important insights into the internal and external dynamics that affect employee performance at the Regional Education and Culture Office of West Sulawesi Province, as well as management implications that can be applied to improve organizational effectiveness.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the partial and simultaneous influence of loan capital and equity on the income level (SHU) of the Floredete Savings and Loan Cooperative, Hilihintir Village, West Satar Mese District, Manggarai Regency. The study uses a quantitative approach. The type of data is quantitative data collected using the documentation method, namely by collecting, recording, and reviewing data from the cooperative's financial statements. The data were analyzed using the Normality Test analysis technique, Multiple Linear Regression, t-test and f-test using the SPSS program. The results of the Normality Test show that the data is normally distributed, seen from the probability value (Asymp. Sig) of the Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test for the Loan Capital variable (0.140), Own Capital Variable (0.60) and the SHU KSP Floredete variable (0.113) greater than 0.05. Based on the Linear Regression model obtained from the analysis results, namely Y = 9.155 + 0.113X1 + (-0.203) X2, it is known that the Loan Capital variable and the Own Capital variable have an effect on the SHU of KSP Floredete, where the Loan Capital t-count is greater than the t-table (1.779>1.672) and Own Capital t-count is greater than the t-table (2.486>1.672). The results of the simultaneous test show that Loan Capital and Own Capital have a joint effect on the SHU of KSP Floredete with an f-count greater than the f-table (3.693>3.13).
