Abstract

This article presents about Islamic law which functions as a guide as well as a protector for human being to live in the world and in the judge Day. Islamic Law is a set of rules on a manner of a mukallaf dealing with the relation of human beings to their Creater, and the relation of human beings one another. One of the rules is irrational or t’abbud in which human beings only obey it based on syar’i without asking how did it come. Then, there is a t’aqquli law by which human beings can only judge maslahat within the law so that it can be changed in accordance with the progress of era.

Abstract

This article discusses about al-madd wa al-qashr and it’s influence on the meanings of al-Quran verses. Mad and Qashar is regarded as an important topic in the study of tajwid because it may change the meaning and the content of al-Quran verses when there is a mistake in applying it. Therefore, this topic is also discussed in the study of ulum al-Quran. Several forms of mistake in applying Mad and Qashar when someones reads al-Quran, can be described as follows; the mistake defecting the content of al-Quran, mistake not defecting the content of al-Quran but changing the meaning, mad and qashar stimulating polemic among ulamas, and mad and qashar which do not ruin the meaning but breaks tadjwid rules.

Abstract

This article presents about Al-Qur’an, the holly Book of Muslims. Al-Qur’an is a guide for human beings to run their lives in the world. Al-Qur’an has values or directions for regulating everything from small problems up to big deals. Mufassirs had paid their much attention and effort to explore glorius values within the Al-Qur’an. Ibnu Abbas was a popular and honorable mufassir during the periode of prophet’s era due to his broad knowledge and accurate analysis in interpreting the verses of Al-Qur’an. He, even, was called by many titles like; bahr al ‘ilm (the ocean of knowledge), habr al ummah (ulama of human beings), turjuman al Qur’an(translator of Al-Qur’an), rais al mufassirun (the leader of mufassirs), and al bahr (Ocean).Next, Ibnu Abbas was also as a pioneer of interpretation theory which bore many interpretation models at the next periodes. His ideas were believed as the most accurate model among mufassir bil ma’tsur as well asmufassir bi al ra’yi. He, traditionally, even was trusted as a succesful great man who grew up an embrio of Hermeneutika al-Qur’an.

Abstract

This article discusses about the nature of khusu’ prayer based on the Islamic syari’at. Most Muslims judge that a khusu’ prayer is something difficult to learn, while Quran states that one of characteristic of fiirdaus eden is a person who can do the khusu’ prayer. Shalat is an obedience which is different from another one. It was assigned to Prophet Muhammad through isra’ andmi’raj. Shalat is vertical contact between a creater and a creature. Also, it is a constraint to design a very good character. Shalat is puprosed to prevent a bad and illegal action. In order to reach the goal, however, a moslem must do shalat in a such khusu’ manner. It is impossible for a moslem to gain the goal of shalat without doing it in akhusu’ manner. On the other side, due to the lack of comprehension on khusu’ prayer, many people conduct a training of khusu’ prayer as if it is based on the sunnah.Naturallay, the meaning of khusu’ prayer has broader scope compared to what clarified in the training it self.

Abstract

Minangkabau people have a culture of going far away for earning their lives. Generally, they go outside with their family, while some others leave their family in the village. This culture impacts on their family especially in exploring their children’s characteristics that live with single parent, even with their grandparents. As a result, many of them get bad development in their lives particularly in social behavior and religion application. In this article, the writer analyzes on the development of children whose fathers are going far away for earning their lives, but they show good social behavior and religion application. The data are taken from the children in the subdistrict of Suayan, Lima Puluh Kota Regency. The analysis includes prayers five times a day, reading Holly Qur’an, and social manner toward their friends and parents. In doing the research, the writer uses qualitative descriptive method.This research shows that the children whose fathers go far way for earning their lives, show good social manner and religion application. It is proved by their behavior in four aspects told above which are influenced by several factors. Those are the guidance of their mothers, grandparents, siblings as well as their teachers both at schools and at Qur’an learning centres, called TPA

Abstract

This article discusses Islamic graphic art. The existence of Islamic graphic art came with the existence of Islam. At the beginning of the stage, it was functioned to record wahyu by using simple media and instruments. The media often used were flat stones, palm leaves, and sterilized leather of animals. Then on the progress of graphic art was developed into graphic letters producing various types of it. It even was designed in flexible spaces generating imaginative artwork. The graphic art was also combined in various ornaments as well as natural paintings. Until now, the art of Islamic graphic art is developed dealing with the progress of culture and the civilization of Islamic society.

Abstract

Al- Qur’an is the guide human being in running life in the world. It does not only talk about faith and ibadah but also a lot of problems faced by human beings during the world. Allah delivers The Quran in Arabic. Each word of its has a very deep meaning to study. Then in this research, the researcher discusses the meaning of al Amanah. In the Quran, the word Amanah is repeated by God as many as forty-two times. The word Amanah, itself explains about humans’, prophets’ and the Angel of Jibrail alaihissalam’s characters. Besides, it also tells about gifts (enjoyment) received by obeyed men to Allah. Someone’s (servant) Amanah to Allah and His prophet is to do what He orders and not to do what is prohibited. Amanah to Allah’s prophet is by applying for his message and order, and not to against his shari’ah. Whoever runs Allah’s amanah, their nations will be avoided from His punishment. Amanah is the character of prophets in conveying Allah’s risalah in order to make human beings believe in the only One God, Allah, and obey all of what He instructs to them.

Abstract

Islam is the most perfect religion which is able to solve all problems. Nothing in the world is absent of Qur’an’s watch. The perfectness of the Qur’an can be viewed from Law Verses including universal and fundamental norms. Comprehension of many Islamic experts on the law produces an Islamic law formation called Syariah or fiqh. Syari’ah or fiqh is all of the regulation concerning Allah’s statement relating to the behavior of a mukallaf. The process of forming Islamic law known as syari’ah or fiqh made by Islamic experts in the past which can not be seperated from social life at the time. The condition illustrated above needs a struggle of Islamic greatment to reform Islamic Law, and to set a methodology due to irrelevant to civilization at the present. Therefore, it is very crucial to build a model of syari’ah which is suitable for standardizing, and modern public law dealing with Human Rights, Criminal Law, and International Law.

Abstract

Supervisor is a functional position of a civil servant in Indonesia whose duty is to execute supervising programs in the field of education both at schools and madrasahs. Meanwhile, supervision is an important program to increase the quality of education. Good supervision can motivate teachers, principals, and other educational staff to improve their profesionalism and work. Lately, Supervising programs at schools become better and professional. The program was an inspecting action in the past, but now it develops to be a guide and training. However, it still has problems that need to solve accurately. The research is aimed at expressing, discussing, and finding a solution to the problems faced by supervisors of madrasah at the Ministry Of Religious Affairs (MORA) of Payakumbuh. The main problem of the research is the quantity of supervisor is not logical if it is compared to the number of madrasahs and teachers. Based on the data at MORA of Payakumbuh, it was obtained the number of supervisors, madrasahs, and teachers as follows; 3 supervisors, 14 madrasahs, and 408 teachers. The illustration above shows that the heaviness of supervisors’ duty in supervising three hundred and twenty-nine madrasah teachers in Payakumbuh. In order to solve the problem, the supervisors with MORA of Payakumbuh conducted programmed supervision through activities of Teachers’ Association (MGMP & KKG) twice a month regularly, and The Madrasah’s Principals Association (MKKM. The activities are funded by MORA of Payakumbuh.

Abstract

The Discourse of tafsir is very interesting to study and to research due because it is based on the holy Quran. Moslem experts, both mutaqaddimin and mutaakhhirin interpreted the Quran in different styles. Some experts interpreted it based on background and social life, some based on aspects of fiqh, some on language, and some others ijtima’i. As a result, the tafsir of bil-ma`tsur, the tafsir of bil-ra`y, and the tafsir of bil-isyari were produced. The purpose of the research is to discuss on imam at-Thabari and his phenomenal work, the book of tafsir at-Thabari by using the tafsir of bil-ma`tsur approach. The working mechanism is to interpret the Qur’an and Qur’an, hadiths and hadiths, and then, the ideas of colleagues and tabi’in. Besides, he also used a linguistics approach and Arabic themes. One of the Islamic experts who studies the tafsir of bil-ma`tsur is Imam at-Thabari. His complete name is Abu Ja`far Muhammad bin Jarir bin Yazid bin Khalid al-Thabari, sometimes called Yazid bin Katsir bin Ghalib. He is an Imam Mujtahid who was popular at the time. Imam at-Thabari was a Moslem expert who lived in third-century 3 in hijiriyah calendar. He was born in 221 H at Amul, the capital city of Thibristan, and died at Syawal 26, 310 H. During his life, he studied Islam with some Islam experts, like Muhammad bin Hamid al-Razi, Al-`Abbas bin Walid al-Beiruni al-Muqri, Al-Rabi` bin Sulaiman al-Muradi and another one. Some of his phenomenal and popular works are the book of Jami` al-Bayan `an-Ta`wili Ay al-Qur’an. The book is also called the tafsir of al-Thabari, the historical book of Tarikh al-Thabari, and some others.
