Abstract

This article discusses about Tafsir Ilmi. Tafsir Ilmi is a model of interpretation used by mufassir in translating Qur’anic Verses. The verses are categorized into sciences or scientific issues like creation of human beings and nature, rotation of sun, revolution of moon, and so forth. This model is also applied by Imam As-Sya’rawi in comprehending Quranic Verses. In this case, he explains scientific fields in more detail based on his knowledge and experience. Reading his interpretation, it can be seen that he has very large view. It makes his work different from other experts, and interest interpreters of tafsir. As-Sya’rawi’s tafsir is different from others because the mission and purpose of his tafsir are to express the wonder of al-Qur’an and the nature of iman. The book is not written in speech style and scientific writing, in spite of in teacher’s teaching method. It can be concluded that As-Sya’rawi’s large knowledge makes his scientific tafsir is different from other books of tafsir.

Abstract

The case of dichotomy, Islamization, and integration of knowledge is a part of the education movement. This condition cannot be separated from the phenomenal background which occurs in the history of knowledge development. The emergence of ideas from Islamic education figures through Islamization and integration of knowledge is the answer to the problem of dichotomy which gives the bad effects toward Islamic education development. This matter will be the responsibility of an educator as the agent who develops the learning process and interacts with the students educationally.

Abstract

This article discusses a study of social life in hadiths using the historical approach. The purpose of the research is to make learners live in social cummunity well. They are expected to know, to understand, and to base their lives on al-Qur’an, as a result, al-Qur’an and hadiths really stick in their hearts. Today, Muslim learners tend to neglect educative messages and values from those resources, in spite of applying them in social lives. Actually Moslems must care for each other, for instance, neighbors to neighbors to omit starvation. Besides, Moslems are also recommended to build a good relationship with non-Moslem society, such as manner of action, cooperation, and belief based on Islamic regulation. Through education of social relationships, it is expected to be an instrument to build social awareness, behavior, and skill for children. In order to reach the purpose of the social education illustrated above, educative messages deriving from al-Qur’an and hadiths like prophet Muhammad’s words, character, and obligation, are absolutely needed.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to discuss the teaching strategy of Arabic. Teaching strategy is an important component in teaching languages, including Arabic. The suitable strategy in teaching Arabic is based on the material and the condition of the students. Enjoyable or not the process of teaching and learning Arabic would determine the result expected of the teaching itself. If the beginning of the process of teaching and learning has already implemented an active and joyful strategy, the students will be interested in the process of learning Arabic. Arabic learning is focusing on creating various conditions in which it enables the students to utilize their time to study. The teacher in the concept of learning will no longer as the main source who transfers knowledge to the students. Active learners place the teacher as a facilitator who creates a conducive class to make the process of teaching and learning be better. It is similar to the phoneme learning of phoneme and vocabulary. Phonology is a way to pronounce Arab letters fluently and accurately whether they are pronounced separately as the letter itself or after it is combined and based on the need. It is also the same as vocabulary. It is one of language components that foreign language learners must-have. It is included in Arabic.

Abstract

Dalalah is a branch of science in Arabic which studies about meaning. It is very often used in daily spoken language concerning kinds of meaning, word choice, and connotation. In written language, the structure of sentences, and quotation marks include the content of dalalah. There are some fields relating to philology, communication, and semiotics. Those fields also study meaning at the level of words, phrases, sentences, and texts. The scope of the research is on the meaning of signs, relationships among different linguistic units (ةيللادلا تاقلعلا) like homonym, synonym, and antonym. Some linguists state that the words having one meaning is called synonym رتلافدا. Then, a word which has several meanings is called homonym ىظفللا كرتشملا, and the words which have contrastive meaning are called antonym دادضلأا. The writer finds many miscomprehension between speakers and listeners. For example, when an ustad or speaker delivers a speech at the front of his audience, not all of the information and message told in the speech understanadle for his listeners. It is caused by word choice, phrases, and sentences they are not so suitable to the listeners. The purpose of the research is to discuss and analyze the meaning of words in spoken and written languages. Then, another aim is at minimizing the mistakes of using vocabulary, phrases, structure, and the context of sentences both in spoken and written languages.

Abstract

Penelitiaan ini mengkaji tentang pengaruh penggunaan media film terhadap hasil belajar maharah istima’ pada MAN 2 Payakumbuh. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dalam bentuk kuasi eksperimen dengan desain True Eksperimental. Hasil temuan menunjukkan 1) Tidak ada perbedaan yang signifikan hasil belajar siswa antara kelas yang menggunakan (kelas eksperimen ) dan tidak menggunakan media film (kelas control) sebelum perlakuan. 2) Ada perbedaan hasil belajar siswa pada maharah Istima’ sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan, 3) Ada perbedaan hasil belajar siswa di kelas yang menggunakan media pembelajaran film sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. 4) Ada perbedaan signifikan hasil belajar siswa antara kelas yang menggunakan dan tidak menggunakan media film setelah perlakuan. 5) Ada perbedaan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa antara kelas siswa yang mengunakan media film dan tidak menggunakan media film

Abstract

The purpose of the research is to know the basic concept of tolerance among religious people which is based on hadiths. It must be careful in comprehending tolerance among religious people because it can make us blur in interpreting our religion itself. The type of research is library research. The resource of data of the research is classified into two groups; primary and secondary data. The method used in the research is the thematic method called maudhu’i. Maudhu’i method is useful to take the conclusion and comprehensive interpretation. Maudhu’i method collects one topic and purpose related hadiths and the interpretation completed by explanation, expression, and interpretation of the problem. In the discussion on the interpretation of hadiths, it is used textual and contextual hadiths approaches. The Textual interpretation approach is the earliest one used in interpreting the prophet’s hadiths. Meanwhile, the contextual approach is to comprehend the meaning and purpose of the prophet’s hadiths by referring to an analysis of textual hadiths. The second approach is contextual comprehension. The context here means a situation relating to an event of sentences to support the meaning of hadiths.

Abstract

The research is purposed to study a teaching method applied by Prophet Muhammad SAW by referring to his hadith as stated in the Book al-Tarbiyyah al-Nabawiyyah, written by ‘Utsman Qadriy Makanisiy. Ahmad Tafsir, an expert of Indonesian Islamic education states that the theory and concept of Islamic education must be supported by the Quran verses and hadith for their existences. Therefore, the theory and concept must be built and developed from studying the resources. The topic is studied through library research by using a descriptive and explorative data adapted from a primary data resource, the Book al-Tarbiyyah al-Nabawiyyah, written by ‘Utsman Qadriy Makanisiy. The result of the research concludes that the teaching methods applied by Prophet Muhammad SAW in educating as stated in al-Tarbiyyah al-Nabawiyyah written by ‘Utsman Qadri Makanisiy. It consists of twenty-two methods categorized into two parts; namely macro and micro methods. The Macro method deals with education consisting of thirteen methods. Meanwhile, another method talks about a practice strategy in teaching by which containing nine teaching methods. It is recommended to educators to apply thirteen methods for educating and nine for teaching. All of the methods the prophet applied in the past, had been able to make his fellows be the best generation in the era of prophet Muhammad SAW.

Abstract

Pesantren is a traditional educational institution in which students live and study together under the teachers’ guide, called Kiai, and have dormitory. It is a respective institution, especially Muslim society. At the same time, however, pesantren is not rare considered as an institution that blocks Islam's progress. This article discusses the role and prospect of pesantren. Starting from the beginning of its birth, in traditional society to model of pesantren the advancement of information technology. Pesantren has flourished long before the formal educational institution established in Indonesia. Thus, it has a great contribution to the development trend of modern society is certainly not easy for pesantren. Inside, it is an institution for the strengthening of religious and moral issues but on the other hand, it must be able to adapt in accordance with the development of modern society. For these challenges, pesantren can revitalize its role and prospect as educational institutions and community empowerment center.

Abstract

This research is purposed to discuss a solution to a dualism law of marriage. As Moslems, execution of marriage surely is based on the regulations arranged by Islam. As Indonesian citizens, the execution of marriage based on the regulations stirred by our country. As an example, there is a recording marriage. In Islam, marriage is regarded as legal if it has fulfilled is its principle and requirement. In order to have a law power, based on Indonesian law, a marriage must be recorded. The recording marriage also tells and about the duty and right of husband and wife and their duty to their children in case of unwanted cases in the household. The law dualism becomes a conflict in the society in which some people neglect the regulation on the recording of marriage. Therefore, the record of marriage is studied in two approaches namely; religious approach and the positive law approach. In the religious approach, fiqh studies about the rule of qiyas awla which focuses on a problem of debt transaction as stated in the Qur’an, surah Annisa, verse 282 which produces a duty of marriage record. The law positive approach stated that law realizes a discipline in the middle of society. Therefore, the recording of marriage must be done. Based on the approaches, the dualism of marriage law can be vanished and can be summarized about Indonesian Islamic Law. It states that the recording of marriage is considered a duty.
