<![CDATA[The challenge in preventing violence against children in society is the failure of laws that prohibit all forms of violence against children, the law is silent, and its enforcement is often inadequate. Likewise, social attitudes and cultural practices forgiving violence against children, lack of knowledge about good parenting patterns, legal knowledge about violence against children, understanding and causes of violence against children.Until March 2021, there were 40 reports of cases of violence against children and women in Bekasi City (2), by looking at these data, it is necessary to carry out community-based child protection socialization at the sub-district level in Bekasi City.Cases of sexual violence against children still dominate in Bekasi City compared to other cases. The Bekasi City Women and Children Protection Empowerment Service (DPPPA) stated that even out of 75 cases of child violence handled from January to July 2019, around 30 percent were sexual crimes against children. The perpetrator is the closest person to the victim's family.The method of implementing community service is through socialization to cadres in Bantar Gebang and Cikiwul Villages for the next cadres to continue to the community in their environment.]]>

<![CDATA[The financial literacy problem in rural communities still lacking significantly impacts community development and empowerment. Cases of illegal loan entanglement that cause family welfare to decline are common in Sambirata Village, Cilongok District, Banyumas Regency, Central Java. This village has great potential but still needs empowerment to develop that potential. This community service is carried out to improve the financial life skills of the Sambirata villagers. Managing finances is increasing financial literacy and growing small businesses to supplement the family income. Seeing the great potential of Sambirata village from its natural beauty, agricultural, and fishery potential, community empowerment in Sambirata Village supports improving the welfare of the residents through further development of tourism, agriculture, and forestry. Low literacy Citizens' finances are the primary focus that must be immediately improved so that the goals of village development can be achieved.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this community service is to help Sambirata village formulate capacity building activities needed to improve village development performance. This activity was carried out in the form of holding a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with all elements of the government and parties related to the development of the Sambirata village. The results of the FGD obtained a SWOT analysis of the government of Sambirata Village, Bumdes Sambirata, Youth Organizations in Sambirata Village, Tourism Awareness Group (Pokdarwis) in Sambirata Village and Joint Farmer Groups (Gapoktani) in Sambirata Village. <![CDATA[Sambirata Village, Cilongok District has natural wealth that has the potential to be developed for the progress of the village and the welfare of its people. This natural potential is in the form of a very beautiful natural environment that is still maintained, and allows it to be developed as a tourist destination. In addition, Sambirata has the advantage of producing cardamom which has been well managed by local farmer groups, although marketing is still limited. This potential can actually be further developed under the management of the Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDES) Sambirata, Cilongok District. However, at this time, BUMDES Sambirata has not been able to play an optimal role in managing the potential of the village. Therefore, an effort is needed to build awareness of the importance of governance capabilities and legality management of institutions so that village institutions can carry out their roles and functions optimally in order to advance the village and improve community welfare in Sambirata Village, Cilongok District, Banyumas Regency.]]>

<![CDATA[Health is fundamental aspect that should be obtained since the early phase of life. Education of Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) is important to improve one’s health status. Kesmas Mengajar Program aim to develop further and in-depth understanding of clean and healthy living behavior in children living in sub-urban area. The program facilitates children in small group to obtain comprehensive materials as well as understanding about their personal hygiene. The program is not only focusing on theoretical based intervention but also real-life practice. Based on the pre and post test results, it is found that there are increase rate of children’s knowledge. It is sugested that another program conducted in wider scope to provide meaningful impact for the community.]]>

<![CDATA[The prevalence of non-communicable diseases in Indonesia is increasing from year to year. One of the causes is lack of activity behavior or a sedentary lifestyle. The purpose of this Community Service Program is to provide education on the importance of regular physical activity to prevent non-communicable diseases. Service is carried out through three stages, namely identification and analysis of problems, advocacy and providing education. The activity was carried out in Gribig Krajan Village, Gebog District, Kudus Regency, Central Java Province. Based on the results of the pre-test and post-test, it was found that there was an increase in the knowledge of the participants, which was 28.59% so that participants were expected to be able to apply it in their daily activities and be able to disseminate the information to the surrounding environment.]]>

<![CDATA[Most of the agricultural cultivation activities of the Sambirata Village community still use inorganic fertilizers. Continuous inorganic fertilizers can cause physical, chemical, and biological damage to the soil and reduce land productivity. The purpose of this community service activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of the Sambirata Village farmer group in making organic fertilizer using the composting method with coactivators. Partners of community service activities are Kridoyuwono farmer groups in Sambirata Village, Cilongok District, Banyumas Regency. The implementation of community service activities uses an active participation approach. Partners of community service activities are expected to actively participate in all series of activities, starting from preparation, implementation of training, and hands-on practice. At the end of the activity, an evaluation was carried out to determine the level of understanding of the training material using pretest and posttest instruments. The results of community service activities can increase the knowledge and skills of farmer groups in Sambirata Village for making organic fertilizers using the composting method with bioactivators. The members of the farmer group have been able to practice making organic fertilizer from cow dung using the composting method properly and correctly.]]>

<![CDATA[The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on all levels of society, including people in RT 02 RW 07, Kahuripan Village, Tawang Subdistrict, Tasikmalaya City, some people have experienced a decrease in working hours even losing their jobs, whether they work in restaurants, shops or freelance daily workers. The purpose of this service activity is to increase knowledge about increasing income with entrepreneurship training in the New Normal Era so that this activity is useful for providing entrepreneurial knowledge and skills from making products to marketing to consumers in the New Normal Era. The method used in this service activity is training and mentoring with effective methods to increase the knowledge and skills of the people affected by Covid-19 in making products to market them so that they can increase the income of the community in RT 02 RW 07, Kahurpian Village, Tawang District, Tasikmalaya City. The results achieved from this service activity are increasing knowledge about increasing income from the entrepreneurial sector for people affected by Covid-19, starting from the manufacture of products to the marketing process in order to increase income. <![CDATA[Pengabdian kepada masyarakat tentang pendampingan melukis mural dinding sekolah untuk guru di RA Perwanida 1 Tegaldlimo dilatarbelakangi oleh kondisi dinding sekolah yang sudah rusak dan perlu di renovasi. Selain itu pengabdian ini juga dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil wawancara terhadap kepala sekolah di RA Perwanida 1 Tegaldlimo yang mengungkapkan bahwa RA Perwanida 1 Tegaldimo ingin sekali membuat lukisan dinding agar suasana kelas menjadi lebih menyenangkan bagi anak. Keinginan tersebut tidak di realisasikan karena keterbatasan dana dan kemampuan guru. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan guru di RA Perwanida 1 Tegaldlimo tentang teknik melukis mural, sehingga diharapkan guru-guru di RA Perwanida 1 Tegadlimo tidak harus mengeluarkan biaya yang mahal untuk melukis dinding sekolah. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah pendampingan dan pelatihan yang terdiri dari tiga tahap yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan dan monev. Setelah dilakukannya program pengabdian ini, kemampuan guru dalam melukis teknik mural berkembang, sehingga guru di RA Perwanida 1 Tegaldlimo tidak perlu mengeluarkan biaya yang besar untuk melukis dinding sekolah, karena guru sudah mampu membuat lukisan mural sendiri tanpa harus menyewa jasa dari orang lain.]]>
