Abstract

Traffic accidents caused by the use of cell phones while driving are increasing, resulting in fatalities, serious injuries and minor injuries as well as significant material losses. The effect of cell phone use on driving performance can distract drivers and lead to a ban on the use of cell phones while driving a motor vehicle. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of cell phone use among motorized vehicle drivers in the city of Pekanbaru. The activity method is to communicate with cellphones while driving. This community service activity uses methods in the form of mentoring through lectures, demonstrations, microteaching and questions and answers. The stages in the implementation of the activities are: 1. Lectures are used to convey general knowledge about the use of mobile phones for traffic safety. 2. Demonstrations are used to provide hands-on skills regarding the handling process related to problems related to traffic safety. 3. Questions and answers are used to complete things that have not been accommodated by the two methods above. 4. Simulation of discussion activities and traffic laws for traffic safety 5. Interaction between teacher and student teams in implementing mobile phones.

Abstract

The number of industries that use websites and social media for media information, sales, and interaction with their customers give rise to new job skills, namely, the industry requires human resources who have the ability to produce social media content, one of which is graphic design skills. Currently, there is quite a lot of graphic design software available, including Microsoft PowerPoint. PowerPoint can be used to design with the consideration that its use is easier than other software, and is a common software that has been installed on every computer. Therefore, this Community Service to train youth on social media content design using PowerPoint aims to develop youth skills in design skills. So those teenagers have the provision to win competence in the industrial world later.

Abstract

Small and Medium Enterprises are priority economic motors that are of concern to the government. The problem is that this sector still has many weaknesses, both in terms of capital, innovation, production and marketing. taking the marketing side, very important MSMEs are transforming from traditional marketing systems to digital marketing. For this reason, it is necessary to increase the capability of MSME business actors in the field of digital marketing. This community service activity aims to introduce and develop the ability of MSME business actors, especially MSME Aisiyah, Banyumas Regency in marketing digital products. The training is not only introduction, but also practice in the use of digital marketing media, including market achievement strategies in product development.

Abstract

Utilization of Information Communication Technology encourages the formation of communities that are interconnected by using the internet network to communicate and carry out various activities. One aspect of change due to the increasing use of the internet is communication media. The need for ICT-based communication media is also felt by the Ciledug Nahdlatul Ulama Student Association (IPNU). IPNU is an autonomous body of Nahdlatul Ulama based on students, students, and santri, as a forum for fostering the next generation of scholars and successors of the nation's struggle. Because IPNU is an organization whose members are generations of Y and Z, and the problems faced by IPNU Ciledug, relating to communication media are to disseminate content related to their organization, a communication media that is appropriate to that generation is needed. The solution offered to solve these problems is through this community service activity, namely providing training on making Podcasts as an ICT-based communication medium to IPNU Ciledug members. The implementation of this community service activity consists of 3 stages, namely; The preparation stage, to identify problems, apply for permits to the IPNU Ciledug management, and make preparations for the implementation of training on making podcasts; The implementation stage of the Podcast making training; and the activity evaluation stage, by giving a questionnaire to the training participants to find out how they responded to this community service activity.

Abstract

MSMEs are one of the business groups that have a fairly large number and survive despite the economic crisis. MSMEs have great potential in national and sectoral economic development. The number of types and products owned by MSMEs so that they have tight competitiveness in direct marketing activities. The use of social media and marketplaces is an opportunity to switch from traditional marketing to modern internet-based or online marketing to reach a wider target market. Amadanom Village is one of the villages that produces agricultural and plantation products, one of which is coffee. In addition to producing agricultural and plantation products, Amadanom Village also has several kinds of MSMEs, one of which is the business of ginger chips and coconut sago. However, business owners are not aware of the importance of using online marketing as a form of marketing in the digital era. The use of the marketplace is an effort to help digitize the role of MSMEs in Amadanom Village, especially the ginger chip business. The methods used in this service are interviews and training. The purpose of this activity is to provide awareness of the importance of online marketing and training to create an account at marketspace. As a result, the business owner already has his own sales account to market his products. With this training and introduction about online marketing, ginger chip business owners in Amadanom Village can be more aware of and improve their production and marketing system.

Abstract

Project-Based Learning is an innovative learning method that is student-centered and utilizes the teacher as a motivator and facilitator. Students are directed to explore, assess, interpret, synthesize, and provide information in order to produce a variety of learning outcomes. The aim of Community Service activities with SMK Negeri 27 Jakarta teachers as target partners is to improve teacher skills in implementing this learning model. This study's research methodology is associated to approaches being used community service activities, particularly: (1) providing project-based learning materials to participants; (2) conducting pre- and post-tests to assess participants' comprehension of the material; (3) hands-on practical training so that participants can develop project-based learning programs for students and present them in training forums; and (4) discussion and evaluation. This activity resulted in a better comprehension of the subject and the creation of five project-based instructional materials with competency abilities in the sectors of tourism (accommodation and tourism service business), fashion design, catering, and beauty management.

Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic has been happening in Indonesia for a long time, starting from March 2020 to March 2022, for approximately 2 years, we all felt together with the impact of the pandemic. The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on the world of education is felt by teenagers. Changes in offline learning methods to online, studying at home all day, lots of assignments, and not being able to meet friends, all of which can interfere with adolescent psychosocial development, for that we need a solution by increasing adolescent knowledge by providing health education. This community service activity aims to increase adolescent knowledge about adolescent psychosocial development, the impact of the pandemic, and solutions that adolescents must take to continue their healthy adolescent psychosocial development. This health education activity is carried out online. Participants in this activity were 24 high school students from several provinces, namely West Java, DKI Jakarta, Central Java, and South Sumatra. Evaluation of activities is carried out by conducting a post-test with the results that 70% of students can answer correctly the questions given. The enthusiasm of the youth and the involvement of the Pasar Rebo Nursing Academy students in this PKM activity made the activity run smoothly and successfully. A follow-up plan is needed to increase youth knowledge about healthy adolescent development towards a strong young generation.

Abstract

Capital is a very important factor of production for the continuity of a business, both large and small. Often production is disrupted due to this capital production factor experiencing problems. As a result, distribution and consumption channels also experience problems. For this reason, it is necessary to have a third party who can assist in capital matters. One of the third parties that can provide capital is banking. However, the availability of banked capital funds cannot be accessed by entrepreneurs, especially people who have very small capital or MSMEs. For this reason, it is necessary to provide assistance and training to MSMEs in obtaining capital from third parties, especially banks. The method used in this PKM activity is a method of training and mentoring related to capital and marketing so that it can mobilize MSMEs in carrying out their activities. Besides MSME owners, Salsabila also provides training to the surrounding community who play an active role in the process or flow of the program stages and their supervision, starting from from the stage of socialization, planning, implementation, and preservation of activities by contributing energy, thoughts, or in material form. From the analysis of the situation and problems faced by the Partner (MSME Salsabila), it can be stated that it is healthy in terms of capital. The achievement target formulated by the PKM Team is that partners are able to provide a way out in providing capital through third parties. Meanwhile, the outputs of the PKM program include: Journal of Community Service, Video Documentation of activities (Youtube), and this activity will also be published in print and online media.

Abstract

Hypertension is one non-communicable disease whose prognosis is influenced by lifestyle. A healthy lifestyle is influenced by one's knowledge. Increased knowledge is the key to prevention and management of hypertension. This community service aims to increase public knowledge about the prevention and management of hypertension. From the evaluation results, it was found that there was an increase in knowledge of 35% after health promotion interventions through counseling. It is hoped that similar interventions can be carried out routinely and to the wider community

Abstract

The community service that we are currently working on with the aim of helping make the process of compiling the financial report of MSME Eat More, the constraints reported by MSME Eat More in preparing financial reports and how financial reports should be made by MSME Eat More in accordance with MSME Standards. This Community Service Design is qualitative in nature by collecting data, interpreting the data, and ending with the history of the MSME owner during the interview. Data and information were collected by means of interviews, documentation and observation. The results of Community Service show that (1) The process of preparing financial reports for Eat More composes simple financial records, (2) Constraints that help Eat More prepare financial reports in accordance with Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Macro Financial Accounting Standards (SAK EMKM) .
