Abstract

The empirical phenomenon of transportation problems, mainly on the Veteran Utara – Veteran Selatan section, is traffic and lack of driver discipline, causing traffic circulation disturbances, especially on the Veteran Utara – Veteran Selatan road section, which is irregular on a regular basis for road users to the presence of signs and roads. The aim of the research is to determine the placement and need for signs and road markings in North Veteran and South Veteran and to determine the influence of the placement of road signs and markings on North Veteran and South Veteran roads.As for the results of the study, the most severe existing locations are roads that have reverse signposts but do not have facilities for turning back so as to increase road users and increase the potential for accidents, while for the placement of markings there are still many locations that require re-marking because they are starting to fade markings along STA 0+000 – STA 0+3000 are like longitudinal dotted lines and markings crossing the stop line (zebra cross), with the fading of these markings will reduce the level of discipline of road users and increase the potential for traffic accidents

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of the performance of the mobilization of materials and equipment, the advantages of mobilizing materials and equipment and the weaknesses of the mobilization of materials and equipment on the mobilization of materials and equipment and to determine the most influential variables. This study uses quantitative methods with the number of respondents as many as 55 people. The instrument testing uses validity and reliability tests, while the data analysis method uses multiple linear regression with the F test and t test. The results showed that the variables of Material and Equipment Mobilization Performance (X1), Excess Mobilization of Materials and Equipment (X2) and Weaknesses of Materials and Equipment (X3) simultaneously affected the Mobilization of Materials and Equipment Equipment (Y), Based on the t-test, the variable Performance Mobilization of Materials and Equipment (X1), Advantages of Mobilization of Materials and Equipment (X2), and Weaknesses of Mobilization of Materials and Equipment (X3) have a positive and significant effect on Mobilization of Materials and Equipment (Y). and the value of Adjusted R Square which means the influence of the independent variable on the dependent variable is 71.4%.

Abstract

Waste carbide that is not utilized as well as other pozzolanic materials can be utilized in the contruction sector. Silicfume is part of the mineral admixture in the form of fine pozzolanic material, where the composition of silice is more.. waste carbide which is substituted for sand in the amount of 5% by weight of sand and silicafume which is substituted for cement in the amount of 10%, 20%, and 30% of the weight of cement. The test object used a concrete cylinder with a diameter of 15 cm and a height of 30 cm. The tests carried out were the compressive strength and split tensile strength of the concrete at the age of 28 days. From the results of testing the compressive strength and split tensile strength in normal concrete have 25.89 Mpa and 2.34 Mpa, then the variation of 5% carbide waste is only 26.04 Mpa and 2.87 Mpa, the variation of silicafume 10% is only 26.62 Mpa and 3.05 Mpa, and variations of silicafume 10%, 20% and 30% containing 5% carbide waste had a compressive strength of 26.72 Mpa, 23.78 Mpa, and 19.72 Mpa, as well as the split tensile strength of the concrete. respectively 3.05 Mpa, 2.97 Mpa, and 2.77 Mpa respectively. The relationship between compressive strength and split tensile strength of silicafume concrete and waste carbide is obtained from the equation R2 = 1 where Y = 0,99971x0,34 MPa

Abstract

Concrete is frequently used as the primary component of building construction. Given its role as a former, concrete plays a significant role in the construction industry. To make pozzolanic concrete more useful as a mineral ingredient for concrete, coal briquette charcoal ash, and sugar solution are added to the mixture. The aim of this study was to determine the impact on concrete's compressive strength and flexural strength by adding 0.10%, 0.20%, and 0.30% sugar solution containing 5% charcoal briquettes. There were 39 specimen samples, including 16 samples of variance concrete and 23 samples of regular concrete. Concrete on the test object is treated by immersing it for 28 days. When the specimen was 28 days old, the concrete's compressive and flexural strengths were evaluated. According to the test's findings, variation concrete has greater compressive and flexural strengths than regular concrete. Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of discipline, technology, and the environment on the performance of the implementation of the waste water pipeline development of Makassar City in the northwest zone and to determine the variables that have a large role in performance. This research is a type of quantitative research that underlies taking data, determining variables and then measuring with numbers so that analysis can be carried out according to statistical procedures. Based on the research results, the results that most significantly affect the performance of the Makassar City Northwest Zone wastewater piping construction project are discipline, technology, and environmental variables.Based on the results of the analysis value showing the environmental variable (comparison of the value of t_count with t_table, the results shown are the value of t_count > t_table (4,639 > 1,674) then the role of K3 in influencing the implementation of the waste water piping construction of Makassar City in the northwest zone is 45%

Abstract

The implementation of construction activities has the potential to cause hazards or risks that can cause losses that can be said to be a lot in terms of time, material, and cost. At each work location there is a risk of work accidents that can interfere with work activities in a work activity. Things that cause work accidents are the lack of knowledge of good Occupational Safety and Health (K3) and also the lack of implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (SMK3). Transmission tower construction work is part of infrastructure work that has a fairly high level of risk in the construction world due to the lack of awareness of the workforce to use PPE and are free from aspects of work machines and equipment. This study intends to understand the OHS risk and measure the level of risk. The type of research is quantitative research with the method used in risk assessment in this study is AS/NZS4360. The data was obtained from a questionnaire technique distributed to respondents, while the intended respondents were contractors who had knowledge of K3. From the results of the study, it was found that the most potential risk of falling objects occurred with a percentage of 32% and the potential risk of falling workers had the highest potential risk (High Risk).

Abstract

This research was made using gypsum waste which is expected to improve the quality of asphalt concrete to the characteristics and meet the technical requirements to be used as road pavement materials. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of hot mix asphalt (AC-WC) using oil asphalt with variations of gypsum waste in repeated immersion. This study uses an experimental method, namely an experiment to get results, thus it will be seen the utilization of gypsum waste in asphalt concrete construction with variations in gypsum waste levels of 10%, 15%, and 20%. The results showed that the use of gypsum waste will affect the characteristics of the asphalt mixture

Abstract

Dalam dunia konstruksi, Tanah berguna sebagai bahan dalam pekerjaan teknik sipil. Salah satunya pada konstruksi jalan raya. Stabilisasi konstruksi perkerasan secara langsung akan dipengaruhi oleh kemampuan tanah dasar dalam menerima dan meneruskan beban yang bekerja. Pada penelitian kali ini memakai tanah lempung sebagai objek penelitian dan bahan tambah yang digunakan yaitu Abu Sekam Padi dan Abu Kulit Kakao. Umumnya tanah lempung memiliki sifat palastisitas tinggi, volume akan berubah bila kadar air berubah. Sifat inilah yang dapat menimbulkan kerusakan pada konstruksi perkerasan seperti retaknya jalan, terangkatnya lapisan perkerasan, jalan bergelombang dan sebagainya. Oleh sebab itu, sifat tanah lempung yang kurang baik harus diperbaiki sebelum melaksanakan suatu konstruksi. Penelitian ini merupakan experimen yang dilakukan pada Laboratorium Teknik Sipil Universitas Bosowa. Dari hasil penelitian dengan 5% Abu Sekam Padi dengan variasi abu kulit kakao 5%, 10% dan 15% berturut-turut didapat hasil nilai kuat tekan sebesar 0.516 Kg/cm2, 0.636 Kg/cm2, dan 0.756 Kg/cm2. Sedangkan Pada pengujian kuat geser mendapat hasil 0.645Kn/m2, 0.809 Kn/m2, 0.844 Kn/m2

Abstract

Along with the very high demand for concrete, therefore the use of dead-end aggregate as coarse aggregate and with the addition of additives for mixed concrete can be used like concrete in general, The aim of the research is to obtain normal concrete with a compressive strength F'c of 25 Mpa, determine the effect of varying Buntu Barana' aggregates (25%, 50%, 75%, 100%) and with the addition of I-3 Betonmix additives on compressive strength, splitting tensile strength of concrete and determining the relationship between compressive and splitting tensile strength of concrete using Buntu Barana' aggregate with the addition of concrete mix. From the results of the study, it was obtained an analysis of the use of Buntu Barana' aggregate as coarse aggregate with the addition of mixed concrete additives to the compressive strength and split tensile strength of concrete. In this study, the compressive strength with 25% of Buntu Barana' aggregate is 27.46 MPa; 50% yielded a compressive strength of 27.08 MPa; 75% yielded a compressive strength of 26.61 MPa; and 100% produces a compressive strength of 25.95 MPa. In the split tensile strength with 25% dead-end aggregate, it is 3.28 MPa; 50% of 3.21 Mpa; 75% of 3.18 MPa and 100% of 2.59 MPa. the equation of the relationship between the compressive strength and split tensile strength of concrete with a value of R2 = 0.95375 and y = 0.9979 x0.34.

Abstract

Analysis of water loss in the lonrong secondary channel in the irrigation area of the Bissua weir, Gowa Regency, was guided by Burhanuddin Badrun and A. Rumpang Yusuf . The existing irrigation system in the Bissua Dam area began to be built in 2001 and completed in 2004 which is located in Towata Village, North Polongbangkeng District, Takalar Regency, South Sulawesi .This study is to analyze the efficiency and water loss in the Lonrong Secondary irrigation network, Takalar Regency. The study was conducted on a secondary channel. Efficiency and water loss were analyzed using the Inflow – Outflow method. The data used in this analysis is primary data in the form of flow velocity data with a current meter for secondary channels. The flow velocity obtained according to measurements in the upstream secondary is on average 0.37 m/s, while for the downstream the average is 0.167 m/s. For the upstream discharge it is 39,555 m3 / second and for the downstream it is 32,461 m3 / second. The overall water loss in the secondary irrigation network is 7,094 m 3 /second on average
