Abstract

In the current technological era, concrete is one of the most widely used building materials in the world, including in Indonesia, therefore good quality concrete will greatly support structural safety. Indonesia is also a developing country that has quite advanced industrial prospects. Buri River gravel material in Rembon Sub-district is still abundant. To utilize this material, in this study it will be used as a substitute for coarse aggregate. And the addition of coconut fiber as a fiber to support the compressive strength of the concrete, resisting the tensile force. This research is an experiment conducted at the Makassar Concrete Bosowa Laboratory. The substitution of the 'river buri' stamps to be used is 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. As for the use of added coconut coir, constant 4% of the weight of cement in each substitution. From the results of the study with the substitution of 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% with the addition of 4% coconut husk, the results were 25.64 Mpa, 25.93 Mpa, 26.11 Mpa and 26.40 Mpa. And the split tensile strength produced is 2.59 Mpa, 2.97 Mpa, 3.11 Mpa, and 3.23 Mpa

Abstract

Road capacity is the ability of a road segment to accommodate the ideal traffic flow or volume within a certain time unit, expressed in the number of vehicles that pass a certain road section in one hour (vehicles/hour), or by considering the various types of vehicles passing through a road, the unit is used. The capacity uses units of passenger cars per hour or (pcu) / hour. The road being analyzed is the Jatie – Bua road along the 25 km in Tellulimpoe sub-district, Sinjai district. The purpose of this study was to determine the capacity of the Jatie – Bua road and have the space belonging to the Jatie road segment according to existing road standards, the analysis was carried out using the 1997 road capacity manual method. Based on the analysis and discussion, the road capacity of the Jatie – Bua segment was stored as follows C = 1373.9 pcu/hour. The results of the study, it was also found that several permanent buildings and n semi-permanent above the road shoulder, side channel, and safety threshold which is part of the space belonging to the road. The suggestion that can be taken is that the current road capacity is not able to serve for the next few years, so it is necessary to widen the road according to standards with road shoulder adjustments to further improve user safety and comfort.

Abstract

Estimated Time and Cost of Realizing the Construction Work of the Education Quality Assurance Institute (LPMP) Phase II South Sulawesi. The purpose of this study is to find out all the estimated time and cost of realizing the construction work of the Education Quality Assurance Institution (LPMP) building phase II, South Sulawesi, where this research uses the S curve method with the aim of obtaining credible and valid data from the time schedule. The data collection method is carried out using the RAB method in construction, observation, and documentation projects and the results obtained are processed based on the time schedule made with the estimated time and cost realization design. The results obtained by using the estimated time schedule and realization costs, there is a 6 day time difference between planning and realization time, while the cost difference is Rp.1,506.414.776.12. from the planning budget Rp.42,492,268,405.01

Abstract

Development of water through the construction of dams where development has a goal to improve the quality of all aspects of people's lives, namely social, cultural and economic aspects in order to realize social welfare. The implementation of a dam construction project that requires more expertise to complete the final work, always requires a project completion time and that has been specified in the work contract. The active role of management is one of the main keys to the success of project management in achieving targets in terms of cost, quality and time. In the construction of this dam requires an implementation method which includes: preparatory work (land clearing and stripping, mobilization, work roads, making board directors, and project nameplates, building facilities and infrastructure for office buildings, workshop warehouses, and providing clean water and lighting, and connecting roads from the highway to the project site.), construction of evasion channels, excavation of soil and used to make upstream and downstream cofferdams. Abstract

Soft clay has a relatively low subgrade bearing capacity and relatively large subgrade compression and lasts for a relatively long time so that it becomes a major problem in the development of transportation infrastructure. One of the efforts to improve soft clay soil is by adding bagasse ash and cement as a stabilizing agent on the soil. The research aims to determine the curing time on the value of unconfined compressive strength in clay soil after adding bagasse ash and cement, the permeability value of clay soil after adding bagasse ash and cement and the comparison value of unconfined compressive strength with curing time. This study used a variation of 0%,5%,10%,15% of palm bunch ash and cement by 5% of the dry weight of the soil. The test results of the free compressive strength value with a curing time of 0 days at 5% Cement + Sugar Bagasse Ash 0%, 5%, 10%, and 15% there was an increase and decrease in the value of the free compressive strength (Qu), in this case the highest Qu was in the variation cement 5% and bagasse ash 10% with a curing time of 14 days an increase in cohesion value of 0.716. The permeability coefficient increases with the increase in the percentage of bagasse ash with a fixed percentage of cement. With an average increase in the coefficient of permeability of 0.0149.

Abstract

The construction of the Makassar-Parepare railroad line that crosses Pangkep district which intersects with the Segeri river is at an altitude of +10,229 m. The Segeri River is in the Pangkajene Watershed area with the Segeri Sub-watershed which has an area of 96,011 Km2. Segeri river flood discharge was calculated using the Nakayashu method with discharge values with return periods of 2,5,10,25 and 50 years of 102.27 m3/second, 125.99 m3/second, 146.06 m3/second,176.89 m3/second and 204.28 m3/second. The flood water level of the Segeri river at discharge with a 50year return period is at an elevation of +3.07 m, so that the flood water level of the Segeri river is below the railroad elevation

Abstract

Tanah merupakan permukaan dasar yang utama bagi semua pekerjaan konstruksi. Tetapi tidak semua jenis tanah dapat digunakan sebagai bahan konstruksi. Apabila tanah tersebut tidak memenuhi persyaratan, maka tanah tersebut perlu distabilisasi. Dalam penelitian ini digunakan bahan Garam Dapur (NaCl) dan Serbuk Kaca (SiO2) yang lolos saringan 200 sebagai bahan perbaikan tanah lempung. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan garam dapur (NaCl) terhadap kuat geser dan kuat tekan bebas pada tanah lempung yang dicampur dengan pecahan limbah serbuk kaca (SiO2) dengan kadar tertentu yaitu 0%, 3%, 9%, 15% pada pengujian kuat geser yang dilakukan dengan penambahan garam dapur 10% ditambah serbuk kaca 0%, 3%, 9%, dan 15% diperoleh nilai cohesi 0,5170, 0,6971, 0,4123, dan 0,3373, sedangkan nilai sudut geser diperoleh nilai 27,34, 34,88, 22,41, 18,64, adapun nilai kuat geser diperoleh nilai 1,5079, 2,0332, 1,2025, dann 0,9838.sedangkan pada pengujian kuat tekan diperoleh nilai qiu rata 0,324, 0,378, 0,268, dan 0,253.

Abstract

Soil is the most widely used material in the construction of a construction. The development of buildings is currently experiencing a very rapid increase so that the carrying capacity of the soil must be considered but not all the carrying capacity of the soil meets the requirements, such as the carrying capacity of clay soils whose soil types are very fine grained so that the layers of the soil are very soft and cohesive. The soil needs to be stabilized. In this study, gypsum and white cement were used to stabilize the waste. This study aims to determine the value of the free compressive strength of silty clay stabilized with 2% gypsum and varied with white cement to determine the appropriate material composition to increase the bearing capacity of the soil. The percentage of stabilizing material used in this study was 2% gypsum respectively, then varied with white cement: 4%, 8%, 12%. The results of the free compressive strength study obtained the maximum value at the composition of the mixture of 2% gypsum + 8% white cement. that is equal to 0.959 kg/cm²..

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship of compressive strength of concrete with iron powder mixture from lathe waste by 10% and alum variation by 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25%. The method of this study is to compare the compressive strength of normal concrete with the compressive strength of concrete variations of iron powder and alum. The percentage of iron powder of 10% and the percentage of alum of 0% experienced a decrease in the compressive strength value against normal concrete by 8.7%, which used an iron lathe of 10% and alum of 5% experienced a drastic decrease against the compressive strength of normal concrete by 30.4%. It can be concluded that 10% iron lathe impersonation as a substitution of fine aggregates and variations of alum of 0%, 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25% as substitutions of coarse aggregates lead to a decrease in the compressive strength value of concrete

Abstract

This study aims to determine the distribution of flow velocity and analyze differences in flow velocity in the rectangular and trapezoidal channels in the Bantimurung main channel, Maros Regency. The research method used is starting from making observations in the field related to the selection of research sites and then collecting data at the selected locations in the field with each sample in each channel. Furthermore, case studies or literature studies from various literature books related to the distribution of flow velocity, and analyzing the comparison of flow rates and how to calculate flow rate. Based on this research, it is obtained that the flow velocity distribution on the trapezoidal channel section and the rectangular channel section shows a large flow velocity value in the center of the channel and decreases when approaching the channel edge. Channel discharge Q in the same channel flow with a different channel cross section, is influenced by the value of the hydraulic radius ( R ) which is different depending on the shape of the channel
