Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan membangun sistem keamanan toko berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) yang mampu meningkatkan efektivitas pemantauan dan keamanan toko secara real-time. Sistem ini menggunakan ESP32-CAM sebagai perangkat utama yang terhubung dengan sensor PIR (sebagai pendeteksi gerakan), dua servo motor (untuk mengatur arah pandang kamera), dan Telegram Bot sebagai media notifikasi .Kebaruan (novelty) dari penelitian ini adalah integrasi solusi end-to-end yang low-cost (biaya rendah) antara ESP32-CAM dengan Telegram Bot untuk pengawasan toko skala mikro, di mana keunggulannya terletak pada kecepatan notifikasi real-time dan kemudahan implementasi dibandingkan sistem CCTV konvensional. Sistem dirancang agar dapat mendeteksi gerakan, mengambil gambar, serta menampilkan video livestream melalui web server. Proses komunikasi data antara alamat IP lokal ESP32-CAM dengan server hosting berbasis PHP–MySQL dilakukan menggunakan layanan NGROK (pada fase pengujian awal) atau langsung ke server online. Ketika sensor PIR mendeteksi gerakan, ESP32-CAM secara otomatis mengambil gambar dan mengirimkannya ke server, kemudian sistem mengirimkan notifikasi ke pengguna melalui Telegram dalam bentuk pesan teks dan gambar. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem beroperasi dengan baik dan stabil, dengan waktu rata-rata dari deteksi gerakan hingga notifikasi diterima di aplikasi Telegram berkisar antara 5–7 detik. Berdasarkan analisis jaringan, rata-rata waktu tunda (delay) pengiriman data berada di kisaran 1–1,2 detik, kecepatan aliran data (throughput) sekitar 310–400 Kbps, dan tidak ditemukan kehilangan paket data (packet loss 0%). Fitur livestreaming video berjalan lancar dengan waktu tunggu stabil 1–2 detik dan kecepatan tampilan mencapai sekitar 10 gambar per detik (10 fps) pada resolusi 320x240 piksel (QVGA). Selain itu, fitur rotasi servo ke arah kiri–kanan dan atas–bawah berfungsi optimal, dengan waktu respon rata-rata 0,8 detik untuk gerakan horizontal dan 1,1 detik untuk gerakan vertikal. Meskipun demikian, sistem ini masih memiliki keterbatasan karena belum dapat menyimpan rekaman video hasil streaming ke server.

Abstract

Oil palm plantations require continuous and reliable monitoring to ensure efficient irrigation, yet many farmers still depend on manual watering methods that are time-consuming and inconsistent. To address this issue, this study develops an Internet of Things (IoT)-based irrigation monitoring system using the MQTT communication protocol to support real-time data delivery and automated control. The system integrates ESP32 microcontrollers, soil moisture and environmental sensors, HiveMQ Cloud as the MQTT broker, and Telegram Bot notifications. The research was conducted on a 27 m × 70 m oil palm plantation consisting of 24 trees. System testing was performed over seven days with two irrigation sessions daily, during which sensor data transmission and notification timestamps were recorded. QoS parameters including throughput, packet loss, delay, and jitter were analyzed using Wireshark. The results show that sensor data and irrigation notifications were consistently delivered within 3–5 seconds, demonstrating stable real-time communication. QoS evaluation indicates 0% packet loss, an average delay of 180 ms, and an average jitter of 0.17 ms, with an overall QoS index of 3.02, classified as “Satisfied.” These findings confirm that MQTT provides reliable communication performance in plantation environments and effectively supports automated irrigation monitoring for improving agricultural efficiency.

Abstract

Automation of data extraction in financial documents is an urgent necessity for MYO Adventures to mitigate the risks of manual entry errors and operational inefficiencies. This study aims to evaluate the performance of Deep Computer Vision modules within an automated validation system through a comparative analysis between Connectionist Text Proposal Network (CTPN) and Efficient and Accurate Scene Text Detector (EAST) algorithms. The research methodology employs a quantitative experimental approach, testing both models against invoice and receipt datasets characterized by physical distortions and dense tabular layouts. Evaluation focuses on inference time metrics and text localization effectiveness prior to the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) stage. The results reveal a significant performance disparity, where the EAST algorithm recorded an average detection time of 565 ms, substantially more efficient than CTPN which required an extreme 12,046 ms. In terms of coverage accuracy, EAST demonstrated high robustness by successfully recognizing 74 valid text items, in contrast to CTPN which yielded only 14 readable items. The poor performance of CTPN is analyzed as a consequence of the limitations of its vertical anchor mechanism and Recurrent Neural Network (RNN) in handling the dense spacing variations of invoice tables, whereas the Fully Convolutional Network (FCN) architecture of EAST proved to be more adaptive. In conclusion, anchor-free methods like EAST possess superior reliability and computational efficiency, making them the most viable solution for implementing real-time financial validation systems on MYO Adventures' web-based platform.

Abstract

Conventional asset management in the IT Division of PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan (PHR) causes data redundancy, manual errors, and slow validation. This study aims to build a multi-platform asset management application to improve recording effectiveness. The system integrates Optical Character Recognition (OCR) for faster asset label identification and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for security. Quality testing utilized the ISO/IEC 25010 standard and experimental testing. Results show the application successfully bridges operational needs via a mobile platform (Android) for Field Officers and a desktop platform (Windows) for Admins. ISO/IEC 25010 testing confirmed all main functionalities work validly. Experimental testing proved the application significantly reduces data redundancy and human errors. In conclusion, this multi-platform architecture effectively creates a centralized, accurate, flexible, and real-time asset management ecosystem, outperforming conventional methods.

Abstract

Asset management in information technology at the IT Division of PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan currently faces scalability challenges due to reliance on conventional manual spreadsheet-based processes in managing approximately 30,000 asset data. This condition triggers the risk of human error, data redundancy, and time inefficiency in preparing asset condition recapitulation reports. This study aims to design a website-based Data Summary System that integrates Large Language Models (LLM) technology and spreadsheet data through the use of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) as a form of secure and scalable integration standard. System development was also carried out using a two-iteration prototype method, with Microsoft Azure infrastructure, the FastAPI framework (Python) on the backend side, and React.js on the frontend side. System quality testing was carried out based on the ISO/IEC 25010 standard which covers the eight main characteristics. The test results showed 100% achievement in the functional suitability aspect and the highest rating (Rating A) in the reliability, maintainability, and security aspects using SonarQube analysis. In terms of performance, the system demonstrated high responsiveness with a GTMetrix score of 100% and a usability level of 80.9 (Good category) on the System Usability Scale (SUS). The effectiveness of the system was tested through a One-Group Pretest Posttest experimental design on 8 IT employee respondents. The analysis results showed a good increase in productivity with a Normalized Gain value of 0.91 (High category) and an effectiveness percentage reaching 91.48% (Effective category). Therefore, this Data Summary System has proven successful in minimizing repetitive work steps and increasing accuracy and speed in managing IT assets at PT Pertamina Hulu Rokan.
