Abstract

The objectives of the study are: (1) to determine the application of inquiry-based practicum method to the learning outcomes of science of heat transfer material in grade V B students at MI Ma'arif NU Karangsari Kebumen; (2) to determine the influence of the inquiry-based practicum method on the learning outcomes of science heat transfer material in grade V B students at MI Ma'arif NU Karangsari Kebumen. The type of research used in this study is Control Group Pretest-Posttest Design. This design uses two measurements of students' understanding of the heat transfer material to be sampled. The first measurement of the pretest was carried out to find out the understanding of students before being given the treatment of the application of the inquiry-based practicum method. The second posttest is the provision of tests to students to find out students' understanding after applying the inquiry-based practicum method. The subjects in this study are students of class V A and B MI Ma'arif NU Karangsari Kebumen as many as 37 students.The results of this study show that there is an application of the inquiry-based practicum method carried out in six steps, namely: presenting the problem, developing a hypothesis, designing an experiment, conducting an experiment, analyzing data and making conclusions. Then the influence of the inquiry-based practicum method is evidenced by the results of the hypothesis test which obtained a sig value of 0.001 where the value is in accordance with the Ho rejection criteria. So it can be concluded that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted where Ha reads "There is an influence of the inquiry-based practicum method on the learning outcomes of Science students of Class V B at MI Ma'arif NU Karangsari".

Abstract

The research objectives are: (1) Analyze the implementation of the Bina Pribadi Islam (BPI) method in Al-Hikmah Islamic Elementary School Sempor in contributing to the peningkatan rasa empati (enhancement of empathy) of students; (2) To identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in influencing the Bina Pribadi Islam (BPI) method on the peningkatan rasa empati (enhancement of empathy) of students. This research is a qualitative study. The respondents in this study are students of grade IV, BPI Instructor Teachers, and the Principal of Al-Hikmah Islamic Elementary School Sempor. The research method used is qualitative with a field research approach. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The research findings indicate that the Bina Pribadi Islam (BPI) method is effective in enhancing the peningkatan rasa empati (enhancement of empathy) of students of Al-Hikmah Islamic Elementary School Sempor. This is evidenced by the development of the Attitude of Empathy (attitude of empathy) of students in Classes IV A and IV B of Al-Hikmah Islamic Elementary School in the 2023/2024 academic year, which has shown a significant improvement.

Abstract

Islamic Boarding School Strategy in Forming Leadership Character in Santri in Darul Uluum Lumbu Kutowinangun Islamic Boarding School. The research objectives are: (1) to know the steps of forming leadership character in students at Darul Uluum Lumbu Kutowinangun Islamic Boarding School. (2) to know the impact of leadership character building on students at Darul Uluum Lumbu Kutowinangun Islamic Boarding School. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research approach. The informants in this study were caregivers, ustadz/ustadzah, and students. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, and verification/drawing conclusions. The results of this study are: (1) the cultivation of leadership character in students at Darul Uluum Lumbu Kutowinangun Islamic Boarding School is carried out by implementing the creation of organizational environment/culture, direction, habituation, exemplary, and supervision. (2) The impact of cultivating leadership characters on students is the impact personally, the impact on others, the impact on the environment, and the impact on the future.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between motivation and the ability to memorize the Qur'an at State Vocational High School 1 Kebumen. The study was conducted by analyzing the relationship between motivation and the ability of students to memorize the Qur'an in the Tahfidz Program at State Vocational High School 1 Kebumen. The method used is qualitative research through questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study used Pearson Product Moment Correlation. The results of the study indicate that: (1) Based on the results of the product moment correlation test between intrinsic motivation (X1) and memorization ability (Y), it can be seen that there is a positive relationship between variable X1 and variable Y. This is indicated by looking at rcount = 0.993 which is categorized as very strong or high. So Ha is accepted, namely there is a relationship between intrinsic motivation and the ability to memorize the Qur'an. (2) Based on the results of the product moment correlation test between extrinsic motivation (X2) and memorization ability (Y), it can be seen that there is a positive relationship between variable X2 and variable Y. This is indicated by looking at rcount = 0.986 which is categorized as very strong or high. So Ha is accepted, that is, there is a relationship between extrinsic motivation and the ability to memorize the Qur'an. The conclusion is that intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation have a very strong relationship with the ability to memorize the Qur'an. Therefore, intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation have a very strong influence on the success of memorizing the Qur'an.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are: (1) to determine the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in overcoming bullying behavior in class VIII students at SMPN 3 Satu Atap Karangsambung Kebumen. (2) to determine the forms of bullying experienced by class VIII students at SMPN 3 Satu Atap Karangsambung Kebumen. (3) to determine the factors causing bullying carried out by class VIII students at SMPN 3 Satu Atap Karangsambung Kebumen. This study adopted a qualitative approach using data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of the study consisted of the Principal, Islamic Religious Education teachers, and class VIII students at SMPN 3 Satu Atap Karangsambung Kebumen. Data analysis was carried out using condensation techniques, data presentation, as well as drawing conclusions and verification. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the role of teachers is very vital in overcoming bullying, by training students to have good knowledge, skills, and morals. Teachers function as educators who provide advice and sanctions for bad behavior, as role models who maintain behavior and provide positive examples, and as guides who provide direction in learning and school activities. (2) The forms of bullying that occur at SMPN 3 Satu Atap Karangsambung include pinching friends, making fun of them, isolating them, and taunting them. (3) The factors causing bullying consist of individual, school, and social environment factors.

Abstract

The leadership of the head of the madrasah is one of those that affects the improvement of the quality of learning. the head of madrasah through visionary leadership is expected to be able to develop the quality of learning at Pondok Pesantren Al Hidayah Bumirejo, Kebumen. This study aims to identify the behavior of the head of madrasah in developing the quality of learning, especially visionary behavior in leadership. This study was conducted with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were head of madrasah lailiyah ad-diniyah, asatidz, and santri. data collection techniques from this study using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study show that, visionary leadership. This is evidenced from the results of research, namely: 1) formulate the vision of madrasah lailiyah ad-diniyah as a visionary leader; 2) socialize the vision to asatidz so that the vision is conveyed to the students; 3) implement the vision by looking at the quality of inputs, processes, and outputs.

Abstract

Reading difficulties are a common problem that often occurs in lower class students. This research aims to find out how teachers try to overcome reading difficulties in class 1 MI Ma'arif Soka Poncowarno through synthetic analytical structural methods. This research uses a qualitative approach by processing data from field research. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews, and documentation which are then analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The instrument used is an interview guide to determine the extent of students' reading abilities and efforts to overcome reading difficulties using synthetic analytical structural methods. The research results showed that there were efforts by teachers to overcome students' reading difficulties using synthetic analytical structural methods, especially in Indonesian language learning, including planning, implementation and evaluation activities. Implementation activities include preliminary, core and closing activities. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the synthetic analytical structural method has been implemented as well as possible, but the steps of the synthetic analytical structural method have not been fully described, which includes three stages, namely the planning, implementation and evaluation stages.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the low reading ability of grade II students at MI Ma'arif Wotbuwono Klirong due to the use of an ineffective learning model. The purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model on the initial reading ability of grade II students at MI Ma'arif Wotbuwono Klirong. This study uses a quantitative approach by applying a quasi-experimental design. The research population includes all grade II students at MI Ma'arif Wotbuwono Klirong which totals 54 students. In this study, the sampling technique was carried out by the nonprobability sampling method through saturated sampling or total sampling. The research sample consisted of 54 students in class II, with 28 students from class II A and 26 students from class II B. The research instrument is in the form of an initial reading ability test, which consists of a pretest and a posttest. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive statistical techniques as well as validity, reliability, normality, homogeneity, and t-tests. The results of the study show that the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model is effective in improving the initial reading ability of grade II students at MI Ma'arif Wotbuwono Klirong. A significant increase can be seen from the average pretest score of 62.30 to 74.42 in the posttest. The results of the hypothesis test showed a sig value (2-tailed) of 0.014 which was smaller than 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class. Thus, the TGT model not only improves initial reading skills but also increases students' motivation and involvement in the learning process.

Abstract

This research was conducted at SMK Ma'arif 1 Kebumen, a school located in Bumirejo Village, sub-district. Kebumen, district. Kebumen. Most of the students at SMK Ma'arif 1 Kebumen use motorized vehicles. The condition of the traffic road to SMK Ma'arif 1 Kebumen has a high traffic volume because the school is located in the center of Kebumen city which creates a risk of accidents for students who use it. motor vehicles to school increased'. Therefore, PLP IAINU Kebumen at SMK Ma'arif 1 Kebumen held a socialization on "Strengthening the Disciplined Character of Students through Orderly Traffic" as a solution to existing problems. This form of activity aims to provide an understanding of safe and orderly driving behavior in traffic by providing material presentations and question and answer sessions related to safe and orderly driving behavior in traffic. The method used is a qualitative method with interviews, observation and documentation. The process carried out is SWOT analysis, preparation of plans and programs, consultation on plans and programs, action for implementing priority programs and evaluation and follow-up plans. The results obtained are increasing students' awareness and understanding of the importance of orderly traffic. The high enthusiasm of the participants shows that this activity is very useful and relevant to the needs of students
