Abstract

Improving the quality of maternity services is a strategic priority in the health system. With the development of technology, data mining has become an effective approach to evaluate the quality of big data-based services. This study aims to compare the performance of two data mining tools—RapidMiner and SPSS—in analyzing labor service data to assess the effectiveness, efficiency, and ease of interpretation of the analysis results. A quantitative approach was used as a method with a comparative design of 500 childbirth data from hospitals. Data were analyzed using RapidMiner with Decision Tree and K-Means algorithms, as well as SPSS with logistic regression and correlation tests. The indicators assessed include prediction accuracy, processing time, and ease of use. The results of the analysis showed that RapidMiner achieved a prediction accuracy of 85.4% and was able to cluster with a silhouette coefficient of 0.65. The processing time is about 12 minutes. SPSS shows an accuracy of 81.2% with a faster processing time of 8 minutes. Significant factors found include the mother's age, complications, and type of delivery. RapidMiner excels in predictive analysis and big data processing, while SPSS is more efficient for conventional statistical analysis. A combination of the two is recommended to obtain more comprehensive service evaluation results. The integration of data mining in health information systems needs to be strengthened to support data-based policies in improving the quality of maternity services.

Abstract

Logistics management is part of the supply chain process and has functions, namely planning, implementing, and controlling the efficiency and effectiveness of the flow of storage of goods, services, and service information and providing related information from the initial place or consumption. The hospital pharmacy installation is one part of the hospital that is fully responsible for drug management and an important factor that must be considered in providing equitable health services to the community in the hospital's work area. The purpose of drug management is to ensure the availability, distribution, and affordability of drugs with sufficient types and quantities, so that they can be easily obtained at the right place and time. This study aims to determine how the pharmaceutical logistics planning system carried out and identify the influence of planning on the effectiveness of pharmaceutical logistics management at dr. Bratanata Hospital, Jambi. The research method used is qualitative. Samples were taken using purposive sampling techniques of 3 people. Data collection techniques use Data Source Triangulation, namely in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results of the study indicate that Pharmaceutical Logistics planning is carried out by referring to doctor requests, previous month's usage data, and the National Formulary. The planning process is based on a monthly stock opname system, where the remaining stock from January to December is added up, averaged, and added with a buffer stock of 10% for annual needs. Overall, the pharmaceutical logistics planning system at dr. Bratanata Hospital, Jambi has been running effectively, although flexibility is still needed in procurement to anticipate dynamic changes in hospital service needs and to ensure that all incoming and outgoing goods recording processes can be properly documented as a basis for decision making in logistics management.

Abstract

Background:Mobile JKN is a digital innovation by BPJS Kesehatan aimed at improving access and efficiency in healthcare services. One of its key features is the online queuing system, which is designed to reduce patients’ waiting time. Objective:This study aims to analyze the relationship between the use of the Mobile JKN application and patient waiting times or queues in healthcare facilities across Indonesia, based on a review of relevant studies. Methods:This research was conducted using a literature review method by analyzing and examining scientific journal articles sourced from Google Scholar, published between January 1, 2018 and March 31, 2025. The article search was performed using the keywords “Mobile JKN,” “waiting time,” and “online registration.” The objective was to identify the factors that influence the use of the online registration system within the Mobile JKN application. Results:Most studies indicate that the use of Mobile JKN can significantly reduce patient waiting times, especially when accompanied by assistance or intensive monitoring. However, several studies also reveal that low digital literacy, limited infrastructure, and lack of user education remain key barriers to the effective implementation of the application. Conclusion:eight articles were found after applying the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Mobile JKN has great potential to improve service efficiency through its online queuing feature. However, its success largely depends on the readiness of infrastructure, public education, and sustained support from healthcare facilities. An integrative effort involving technology, human resources, and service policies is essential to ensure the successful nationwide adoption of this system.
