Abstract

Design/Methode/Approach: The study used a quantitative-survey research strategy getting information from individuals within GPA. Analysis of the data was conducted using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) analytical and SmartPLS tool. Research Finding: The hypothesis is supported which in turn indicates the path is significant between the independent and dependent variable. H1 (0.547, p < 0.05) describes the path between social media usage and employee performance. Theoretical contribution/Originality: The study revealed the necessity for GPA to adopt social media as a strategic communication tool for efficient dissemination of information within the organization and a means to empower employees. Theoretically, informed employees are more involved and engaged to serve the organisation. Practical/Policy implication:        The study will aid the implementation of a social media policy which will serve as a policy document to guide staff on how and when to use social media during official work hours. Research limitation: The findings of the study cannot be generalized with other SOEs as the study is limited to Gambia Ports Authority only. Abstract

Research aim : This study aims to analyze the influence of e-service quality, brand image, and business ethics on Shopee customer satisfaction among accounting students at Universitas Nusantara PGRI Kediri Design/Methode/Approach : A quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires from 44 accounting students using purposive sampling. Data analysis included multiple linear regression, validity and reliability tests, and hypothesis testing Research Finding : The results indicate that e-service quality (security, communication, reliability, responsiveness), brand image (corporate, user, and product image), and business ethics (transparency, fairness) significantly influence customer satisfaction. Theoretical contribution/Originality : This study contributes to the existing literature by integrating three critical factors—e-service quality, brand image, and business ethics—into a single framework to analyze their impact on customer satisfaction in the context of e-commerce. Practitionel/Policy implication : Shopee should prioritize improving e-service quality, strengthening brand image, and adhering to ethical business practices to enhance customer satisfaction Research limitation : This study focuses on e-service quality, brand image, and business ethics as independent variables, and consumer satisfaction as the dependent variable. This study was conducted on accounting students of Nusantara PGRI Kediri University who used the Shopee platform.

Abstract

Research aim : This study aims to explore and analyze the influence of Facebook Ads strategies on increasing brand awareness and product sales at Dunia Akrilik. Design/Method/Approach : This study uses a quantitative approach with a purposive sampling technique on 40 relevant respondents. Data were collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using simple linear regression to measure the relationship between Facebook Ads strategy and brand awareness. Research Findings : The results of the analysis show that the Facebook Ads strategy has a significant influence on increasing brand awareness, with a coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.768. Visual elements and audience segmentation have proven to be the main factors in the success of an advertising campaign. Theoretical contribution/Originality : This study extends the digital marketing literature by focusing on the creative industry, especially art and decoration-based products such as acrylic. Its originality lies in the exploration of visual elements and advertising narratives as determinants of campaign effectiveness. Practitioner/Policy Implications : This study provides recommendations for business actors in designing more effective Facebook Ads strategies, with an emphasis on visual design and audience segmentation to increase product appeal. Research limitations : This study has limitations in the small sample size and does not involve a qualitative approach, so the results may be less representative. Future research is recommended to use a mixed approach and expand the sample size.

Abstract

Research aim: The study aims  to evaluate the effectiveness of the current Occupational Health, Safety and well-being policy of the GPA. Additionally, assessed the effects of OHS on Port Operations and Employee Performance and as well as the health hazards associated with poor Occupational Health and Safety standards. Design/Methode/Approach: A descriptive and exploratory survey design  was utilized with a structured questionnaire and Likert 5- point scale to collect data. The study also utilized stratified random sampling method and drawing a sample of 210 staff from the GPA staff roll provided by Human Resources. The data was analyzed using both descriptive and structural equation modelling (SEM) techniques with help of SPSS software and SmartPLS4. Research Finding: The study found out that the current OHS policy of the GPA was effective since a significant percentage of the respondents are aware and have access to such a policy. It also indicated that implementation of OHS policy was communicated to majority of the employees. The staff also agreed that the availability of effective working conditions enhance employee performance and operational efficiency. The nature of Ports Operations indicated that the most vulnerable groups experienced workplace hazards more frequently. The perception of safety standards at the Ports Authority is generally below average. Theoretical contribution/Originality: The study has contributed to knowledge by bridging the gap in establishing the relationship of OHS on employee and organisational performance. It gave a fresh perspective on Gambia Ports operations as well as the challenges in relations with employee health, safety and well-being. Practitionel/Policy implication: The Expansion of the Port infrastructure should be expedited to provide the much-needed space and avoid the presence of health hazards associated with poor standards. The Management of GPA should organize more awareness campaigns for operational staff in order to educate them about OHS and how they can practice caution on their own. The GPA leadership should facilitate the formulation of better health and safety policies and procedures. It would also assist employees to improve their welfare and ensure a safe working environment for all. Research limitation: The study conclusions cannot be generalized as its from a single entity.

Abstract

Research Objectives: This study aims to investigate the interaction between organizational culture, reward system, and work environment in shaping employee performance at Al Falah Bakery. Specifically, this study will: (1) analyze how organizational culture affects employee performance; (2) assess the impact of the existing reward system on employee performance; (3) identify the influence of work environment on employee performance; and (4) explore the combined effects of these three variables on employee performance. By examining these reciprocal relationships, this study seeks to provide valuable insights for Al Falah Bakery to optimize its organizational practices and improve employee performance. Design/ Method/Approach: This quantitative research is based on the philosophy of positivism, utilizing primary data collected through questionnaires and analyzed using SPSS software version 25. This study focuses on a population consisting of all employees, with a sample size of 30 participants. This approach emphasizes objective measurement and statistical analysis to draw conclusions about the phenomenon being studied. However, the limited sample size may limit the generalizability of the findings, so further research is needed          a larger and more representative sample to confirm and expand the conclusions drawn from this study. Results findings: The study revealed that organizational culture, rewards, and work environment are important factors that contribute to employee performance. A strong and positive organizational culture fosters a sense of belonging and purpose, encouraging employees to perform at their best. Similarly, a well designed reward system that recognizes     and     rewards     employee     contributions    motivates individuals to excel. Furthermore, a conducive work environment that enhances well being and facilitates productivity enhances employee performance. These findings underscore the importance of a holistic approach to human resource management that prioritizes creating a supportive and rewarding workplace to maximize employee potential and achieve organizational goals .

Abstract

Research Aim: This research aims to develop a conceptual framework that bridges the green economy paradigm with local wisdom, thereby achieving sustainable development. Design/Method/Approach: This conceptual research employs a constructivist approach, utilizing critical literature analysis and conceptual synthesis to develop a framework. Research Finding: The research findings present a conceptual framework that integrates green economic principles—namely, resource efficiency, emission reduction, and social justice—with elements of local wisdom, including traditional values, customary practices, and local ecological knowledge. The framework emphasizes the importance of integration mechanisms, including dialogue and collaboration, recognition and reward, adaptation and innovation, as well as justice and equality. Theoretical contribution/Originality: The theoretical contribution of this research is to offer a new perspective on the green economy by including a dimension of local wisdom, which is often overlooked in the mainstream literature Practical/Policy Implication: By practical implication, this framework can guide policymakers, development practitioners, and local communities in designing and implementing sustainable and inclusive green economy initiatives. Research limitation: The limitation of this study is that the conceptual framework developed is theoretical and requires further empirical validation.

Abstract

Research aim: This study aims to explain the role of the Independent Learning Independent Dictionary(MBKM) internship program at BTPN Syariah as a facilitator for the development of students' critical thinking skills through internships.Design/Methode/Approach: The research used is qualitative descriptive qualitative with interview data collection techniques.Research Finding: The results of the study showed that students who participated in the internship program obtained the aim of examining the benefits of the Certified Independent Study Internship(MSIB) in developing students' critical thinking skills through the role of a companion facilitator in the internship program. Internship programs, particularly those involving the role of an accompanying facilitator, provide a unique opportunity for students to apply their knowledge and skills in real-world contexts.Theoretical contribution/Originality : This study makes significant theoretical contributions by examining how the Companion Facilitator role in PT. BTPN Syariah's MSIB program bridges experiential learning theory with practical workplace application in Islamic banking. Our findings demonstrate how structured mentoring, real-world problem solving, and critical reflection in certified internships uniquely develop students' higher-order thinking skills - an underexplored dimension in conventional internship research. The research introduces an innovative framework that connects industry mentorship practices with cognitive skill development, offering new insights into optimizing industry-academic partnerships for more impactful experiential learning. This work particularly advances understanding of critical thinking cultivation in non-Western business contexts and Sharia-compliant financial environments.Practitionel/Policy implication : For higher education institutions, these findings emphasize the need to develop formal partnerships with industry players like PT. BTPN Syariah to design internship curricula that systematically cultivate critical thinking through mentored projects and reflective practice. Corporations should implement structured internship guidelines featuring analytical tasks and provide mentor training programs to maximize cognitive skill development. At the policy level, MSIB organizers should incorporate critical thinking metrics into program assessments and expand this model across sectors. Students should approach internships as active learning opportunities by engaging in challenging projects and reflective discussions. These recommendations collectively enhance the transformative potential of certified internship programs in developing future-ready graduates.Research limitations: This research has limitations such as peers who are only placed 1 student in each branch so that it is difficult to find students as respondents, so that the context may not be representative of students from other universities.kills

Abstract

Research aim : The main objective of this study is to deeply analyze the multiplier effect of geopolitical conflicts on Indonesia's economic balance. This research specifically focuses on critical sectors such as international trade, finance, and real industry. Design/Methode/Approach : This research uses a literature review method with a descriptive qualitative approach. Literature review was chosen because this research aims to analyze the impact of geopolitical conflicts on Indonesia's economic balance through the study of various scientific sources, secondary data, and economic reports. The descriptive qualitative approach is used to understand and explain the relationship patterns between geopolitical conflicts and national economic Research Finding : This study shows that global geopolitical conflicts have a significant impact on the Indonesian economy. Preliminary findings show that there are serious disruptions to global supply chains, which then trigger an increase in domestic inflation. In addition, the geopolitical conflict also contributed to the weakening of the rupiah exchange rate. Overall, these impacts collectively negatively affect people's purchasing power and hamper the pace of national economic growth. Theoretical contribution/Originality : This study analyzes the multiplier effects of geopolitical conflict in the specific context of Indonesia, which may contribute to further understanding of how global instability affects emerging economies. Its originality lies in analyzing the impact in the specific context of Indonesia and possibly in integrating various interrelated economic impacts. Practitionel/Policy implication : This research clearly underscores the importance of developing and implementing effective mitigation strategies to maintain Indonesia's economic stability. The research results are expected to provide valuable insights for policymakers and economic actors in formulating adaptive, resilient and sustainable policies in the face of global geopolitical challenges. It shows significant practical implications for economic policy-making in Indonesia. Research limitation : The limitations of this study include the complexity and variability of geopolitical conflicts that make it difficult to accurately measure the impact, challenges in the availability of specific data for multiplier effects, potential dependence on economic model assumptions, possible scope limitations on specific sectors or timeframes, as well as limitations in Indonesia's economic policy mitigation strategies.

Abstract

Research aim: This research aims to analyze the forms, challenges, and impacts of commercialization in the world of education, focusing on social, economic, and academic aspects Design/Method/Approach: The research uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method. Data was collected from academic journals, policy reports, and publications of educational institutions and international organizations. Data analysis is carried out descriptively and interpretively, with the validity of the data maintained through triangulation of sources Research Finding: The results of the study identified 7 forms of commercialization of education, 6 implementation challenges, and 6 impacts arising from the commercialization of education. Forms of commercialization include privatization of educational institutions, cost recovery education, cooperation with corporations, commercialization of books and learning resources, education as digital products, exploitation of students, and commercialization of educational infrastructure Theoretical contribution/Originality: This research provides a comprehensive insight into the phenomenon of commercialization of education, systematically analyzing its various forms, challenges, and impacts. This contributes to a theoretical understanding of paradigm shifts in the modern education system Practitionel/Policy implication: Research findings can be the basis for policymakers and education practitioners in formulating strategies to balance the financial needs of educational institutions with the main mission of education as a means of developing knowledge and character Research limitation: This study was limited to a literature analysis and did not involve the collection of primary data. Abstract

Research aim : The purpose of this research is to analyze the sales trend of the Chocolate Banana snack business in the next period and analyze the accuracy level of chocolate banana snack sales forecasting. Design/Methode/Approach : This research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. There are two stages of data analysis, namely calculating sales forecasting for the next period using time series methods (Moving Average, Weighted Moving Average, and Exponential Smoothing methods. There are 3 types of Exponential Smoothing methods, namely Single Exponential Smoothing (SES) with constant α 0.1 and constant α 0.4, and Linear Exponential Smoothing (LES) with constant α 0.1 / β 0.2). While the second stage is to evaluate the results of the accuracy level of the sales forecasting method with the MAPE technique. Research Finding : The result of this study is that the most effective method is the single exponential smoothing method (α 0.4) with the sales forecasting results for the next period of 594, with an accuracy level with MAPE of 5.67%. Theoretical contribution/Originality : This research contributes to the application of time series forecasting methods in small-scale food businesses, especially in improving the accuracy of sales predictions. Practitionel/Policy implication : The results of this study provide insights for small business owners in the food sector, emphasizing the importance of applying sales forecasting methods to improve decision-making. Research limitation : This research is limited to 10 weeks of sales data, making it less accurate for the long term. Further studies are recommended using longer data and more complex methods.
