Abstract

The purpose of community service aims to determine the effect of using the problem solving model on student achievement in sub-theme 1 class III at SD Negeri 122332 Pematangsiantar. This research uses quantitative research, quantitative research is a process of finding knowledge that uses data in the form of numbers as a tool to analyze information about what you want to know. The experimental unit in this study consisted of 1 class, namely students in class 3C, totaling 25 students at SD Negeri 122332 Pematang Siantar, Pematang Siantar T.A 2022/2023. The test questions will be carried out in class 3C in the same school with a total of 25 students. The results of the data analysis above show that the hypothesis in this study is accepted. There is the influence of the problem solving model on student achievement in theme 5 sub-theme 1 weather conditions at SD Negeri 122332 Pematangsiantar. Based on the results of data analysis after calculating the t test with a significant level of 0.000

Abstract

The background for the development of English Vocabulary Card media is to look at the state of learning media in general. In elementary schools the use of media that speaks vocabulary is still very minimal. Even though learning media is needed to make it easier for teachers to transfer knowledge and make it easier for students to understand English vocabulary. This study uses research and development methods or Research and Development (R&D). After developing students' English learning with English Vocabulary Card Media Development at UPTD SD Negeri 017107 Kisaran Naga, learning proved to be more effective. Therefore, the researchers developed English Vocabulary Card media for fourth grade English subjects. This study aims to develop learning media in the form of English vocabulary cards and find out how the appropriateness of the media is so that it produces media that is valid, effective and responsive. The data collection technique in this study was to use a research and development questionnaire to produce English vocabulary card media that was feasible to use based on assessments from media experts, material experts, English subject teachers and students' responses.

Abstract

The make a match learning method is a learning method that invites students to learn actively and aims to ensure that students have a spirit of independence in learning and foster creativity so that they are able to make innovations. This make a match method has a cognitive level, from the level of knowledge, understanding, application, analysis and creativity. The aim of this research is to determine the increase in learning outcomes by applying the make a match method of Faith in the Messenger of Allah material for class V students at SDS IT Sulthoniyah Sambas. The data sources in this research are student and teacher respondents as well as informants, namely the Principal and documents. This research technique consists of observation, tests and interviews. The conclusion from this research is that during the learning process, the teacher delivered the material and the application of the method was good. Teachers provide motivation to students to be enthusiastic about learning. By implementing the make a match method in class V, it can increase student learning activities. Furthermore, based on the results of the evaluation of classical completeness learning, the students' scores reached an average of 78.5 with a percentage of 90% complete.

Abstract

This program aims to see the use of the Duolingo application in increasing literacy with the help of the Capcut application. The implementation of PkM at SMA 37 PGRI BATANGKUIS uses a digital literacy approach method through the Duolinggo application assisted by the CapCut application. Where the implementation of PkM aims to overcome the problem of insufficient literacy in order to increase students' literacy in understanding foreign language vocabulary (English). The implementation method that we have developed involves active collaboration between the PkM team and the school, especially the students of SMA 37 PGRI Batangkuis. From the results of this PkM implementation, it can be concluded that the community service program which utilizes the Duolingo and CapCut applications for SMA 37 PGRI BATANGKUIS students has had a positive impact, including: Community service program which utilizes the Duolingo and CapCut applications for students of SMA 37 PGRI BATANGKUIS managed to increase their literacy significantly. Pre-test and post-test data show consistent improvements in students' reading, writing and speaking skills after participating in this program. The integration of the Duolingo application effectively enriches students' foreign language skills, while the use of CapCut provides an additional dimension in the development of students' multimedia skills.

Abstract

This program is an activity carried out to improve the matriculation program and build student character through an innovative approach. This activity takes place every time after school and is carried out at the school in stages starting from class X and class XI. Apart from providing free matriculation tutoring, discussion time with students discusses assignments and meetings aimed at building character. This matriculation program is carried out by means of teaching and training by providing material and practice questions for each activity carried out. PkM activities are carried out at SMA N 4 Binjai from 14.30 WIB to 16.00 WIB every Monday to Thursday followed by Saturdays and the student character building program is carried out on Fridays and Saturdays twice a month during PkM. PKM with the title "Improving the Matriculation Program and Building Student Character Through an Innovative Approach" shows that through an innovative approach in the matriculation program, not only academic improvement occurs, but also the strengthening of student character. Learning not only improves understanding of concepts, but also forms students' creativity, critical thinking and social skills.
