Abstract

This study investigates the development of EFL students’ lesson planning skills over the course of a Microteaching class. By analyzing three lesson plans created by 20 participants at different stages of the course, the research reveals significant improvements in key instructional areas, including learning objectives, lesson structure, instructional strategies, engagement, digital tool integration, and assessment methods. Moreover, participants improved lesson planning and objective alignment, though initial lesson coherence and appropriate digital tool selection posed challenges. While engagement strategies advanced, early lessons relied heavily on teacher-led instruction, limiting student interaction. The findings provide insights into how Microteaching facilitates pedagogical skill development and offer recommendations for improving teacher education programs. Abstract

Kota Jayapura, ibu kota Provinsi Papua, merupakan miniatur Indonesia dengan beragam suku, budaya, dan agama. Pancasila, sebagai dasar negara, berperan penting dalam menciptakan kerukunan antarumat beragama. Tujuan penelitian yakni mengeksplorasi bagaimana nilai-nilai Pancasila diimplementasikan dalam tradisi keagamaan masyarakat Jayapura dan tantangan yang dihadapi dalam praktik toleransi. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif, di mana pengumpulan data melalui wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun terdapat upaya untuk mempromosikan toleransi, masih ada kesenjangan antara idealisme Pancasila dan kenyataan di lapangan. Penelitian ini sekiranya bisa memberikan kontribusi pada pengembangan pemahaman tentang kerukunan umat beragama di Indonesia. Kata kunci: Pancasila, Toleransi, Tradisi Keagamaan.

Abstract

Abstract: The study aims to measure how effective the Gallery Walk learning model is in creating critical thinking skills of class VIII students at SMP N 1 Abepura. By using a quasi-experimental method and comparing two class groups, this study found a significant increase in the critical thinking skills of students who participated in Gallery Walk learning. This result shows that this learning model can be a good choice to improve students' critical thinking skills. Keywords: Effectiveness, Gallery Walk Learning Model, Critical Thinking Skills Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengukur seberapa efektif model pembelajaran Galeri Walk dalam menciptakan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas VIII di SMP N 1 Abepura. Dengan menggunakan metode kuasi-eksperimen dan membandingkan dua kelompok kelas, penelitian ini menemukan adanya peningkatan yang cukup berarti pada kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran Galeri Walk. Hasil ini menunjukkan jika model pembelajaran ini bisa menjadi pilihan yang baik guna meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Abstract

A number system is a system representing numbers. The study was ethnography research. This study explored the counting system Hubula communities use in their daily activities. There were three Hubula indigenous people as participants. Using in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, the data was from Hubula’s indigenous people. The results of this study indicate that the order of numbers is only one to ten. The base numbers consist of one, two, and three, while the four to ten are repetitions of basic numbers. For naming the numbers five and ten, the Hubula communities use the expression of the finger-fold position, one hand for five and two hands for ten. They also recognize odd and even numbers. The odd number is one, three, five, seven, and nine, while the other is two, four, six, eight, and ten.

Abstract

Abstract: This study was motivated by the low mathematical numeracy comprehension skills of students. Therefore, an appropriate and effective approach is needed. The approach can be in the form of more interactive and meaningful learning. The objectives of the research are first, to determinate the improvement of mathematical numeracy skilla by using Congklak media model for primary school students. Secondly, to determine the effectiveness of using Congklak media through TGT learning model on students counting ability. This research is a quantitative study. The intrument used is a test question. The findings of this study have revealed that the mean mathematics attainment for students who took the post-test was 80,8, falling in the bracket of 80-89 (high). In contrast, prior to using the Congklak media and the TGT model, the everage pre-test result was 43,2, which corresponded to the range of 0-54 (very low). There is difference in the average value of 37,6. In other words, the use of Congklak media and TGT learning model has an influence on improving students numeracy skills. Keyword: Congklak, Numeracy, Local Wisdom, TGT Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan pemahaman numerasi matematis murid. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan suatu pendekatan yang tepat dan efektif. Pendekatan tersebut dapat berupa pembelajaran yang lebih interaktif dan bermakna. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah pertama, untum mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan berhitung matematika dengan menggunakan media congklak melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Teams Games Turnament(TGT) pada murid SD. Kedua, untuk mengetahui efektifitas penggunaaan media congklak melalui model pembelajaran TGT terhadap kemampuan berhitung murid. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Intrumen yang digunakan adalah soal tes. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar matematika yang mengikuti post-testadalah 80,8 yang berada pada interval 80-89 (tinggi). Sedangkan sebelum menggunakan media congklak dan model TGT diperoleh rata-rata hasil pre-test sebesar 43,2 yang berada pada interval 0-54(sangat rendah). Terdapat selisih nilai rata-rata sebesar 37,6. Dengan kata lain, penggunaan media congklak dan model pembelajran TGT memiliki pengaruh dalam meningkatkan kemampuan numerasi murid. Abstract

Abtrak: Pendidikan karakter adalah aspek krusial pada pembelajaran di sekolah, terutama dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn). Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis model pembelajaran berbasis pendidikan karakter yang diterapkan di SMP 1 Kota Jayapura, serta dampaknya terhadap pembentukan karakter siswa. Lewat pendekatan kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, serta angket. Hasil menunjukkan jika penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis pendidikan karakter bisa meningkatkan kesadaran siswa terkait nilai-nilai karakter, antara lain kejujuran, tanggung jawab, serta kepedulian sosial. Sekiranya penelitian ini bisa memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan pendidikan karakter di berbagai sekolah di Indonesia. Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran, Pendidikan Karakter, Pembentukan Karakter.   Abstract: Character education is a crucial aspect of school learning, particularly within the subject of Civic Education (Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan/PKn). This study aims to analyze the implementation of character-based learning models at SMP 1 Kota Jayapura and examine their impact on student character development. Utilizing a qualitative approach, data were gathered through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The findings indicate that the application of character-based learning models successfully enhances student awareness of core values, including honesty, responsibility, and social care. This research is expected to contribute to the advancement of character education frameworks across various schools in Indonesia. Abstract

Abtrak: Penelitian bertujuan menganalisis persepsi siswa terkait penerapan Kurikulum Merdeka pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) di SMA N 3 Kota Jayapura. Kurikulum Merdeka diperkenalkan Kemdikbud bertujuan memberikan kebebasan pada proses pembelajaran, namun implementasinya di lapangan masih menimbulkan berbagai persepsi di kalangan siswa. Melalui pendekatan kualitatif, penelitian ini melibatkan 30 siswa berbagai kelas dan menggunakan wawancara serta kuesioner sebagai instrumen pengumpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar siswa memiliki pandangan positif pada Kurikulum Merdeka, meskipun terdapat beberapa tantangan dalam penerapannya. Penelitian ini sekiranya bisa memberikan wawasan bagi para pendidik serta pembuat kebijakan dalam mengoptimalkan pelaksanaan kurikulum di sekolah. Kata kunci: Model Pembelajaran, Pendidikan Karakter, Pembentukan Karakter.   Abstract: This study aims to analyze student perceptions regarding the implementation of the Kurikulum Merdeka (Independent Curriculum) in Civic Education (Pendidikan Kewarganegaraan/PKn) at SMA N 3 Kota Jayapura. Introduced by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemdikbudristek), the Kurikulum Merdeka is designed to provide flexibility in the learning process; however, its practical implementation continues to garner diverse perceptions among students. Utilizing a qualitative approach, this research involved 30 students from various grade levels, employing interviews and questionnaires as data collection instruments. The findings demonstrate that most students hold a positive view toward the Kurikulum Merdeka, despite encountering several challenges during its execution. This study is expected to provide valuable insights for educators and policymakers in optimizing curriculum delivery in schools. Abstract

Abtrak: Disiplin berlalu lintas merupakan aspek penting dalam menciptakan keselamatan di jalan raya, terutama bagi pelajar yang merupakan kelompok rentan. Penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan mengeksplorasi upaya oleh pihak kepolisian dalam menerapkan disiplin berlalu lintas di Kabupaten Keerom. Lewat pendekatan kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, serta studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan meskipun terdapat berbagai program dan inisiatif dari kepolisian, tantangan seperti kurangnya kesadaran dan partisipasi dari pelajar masih menjadi kendala utama. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan efektivitas program keselamatan lalu lintas di kalangan pelajar. Kata kunci: Upaya Polisi, Disiplin Berlalu Lintas, Pelajar.   Abstract: Traffic discipline is a crucial aspect of ensuring road safety, especially for students, a vulnerable group. This study aimed to explore police efforts to enforce traffic discipline in Keerom Regency. Using a qualitative approach, data was collected through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results indicate that despite various police programs and initiatives, challenges such as lack of student awareness and participation remain major obstacles. This study is expected to provide recommendations for improving the effectiveness of traffic safety programs among students. Keywords: Police Efforts, Traffic Discipline, Students.

Abstract

Abtrak: Integrasi Artificial Intelligence (AI) dalam dunia pendidikan menawarkan solusi disrupsi untuk mentransformasi model pembelajaran konvensional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pemanfaatan AI dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, mengidentifikasi manfaat operasional, serta memetakan tantangan sistemik di lapangan. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain eksploratif-deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui studi literatur sistematis, observasi platform adaptif, serta wawancara mendalam terhadap para pendidik dan praktisi teknologi pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan AI mengkristal pada empat domain utama, meliputi pembelajaran adaptif, asisten virtual, analitik data belajar, dan otomatisasi penilaian akademik. Implementasi ini terbukti memberikan dampak positif berupa akselerasi personalisasi pembelajaran siswa dan efisiensi waktu kerja guru, yang sangat relevan dengan pemenuhan esensi kebijakan Kurikulum Merdeka. Kendati demikian, adopsi teknologi pintar ini masih membentur hambatan krusial berupa keterbatasan infrastruktur digital, kerentanan privasi data siswa, dan kesenjangan kompetensi pedagogis berbasis digital. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa melalui perencanaan taktis, pelatihan terstruktur, dan regulasi etis yang ketat, AI dapat menjadi katalisator inovasi pendidikan inklusif abad ke-21. Sinergi lintas sektor diperlukan untuk menciptakan ekosistem teknologi pendidikan yang berkelanjutan. Kata kunci: Kecerdasan Buatan, Kualitas Pendidikan, Pembelajaran Adaptif, Kompetensi Digital.   Abstract: The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education offers disruptive solutions to transform conventional learning models. This study aims to explore the utilization of AI in improving education quality, identify operational benefits, and map systemic challenges in the field. Utilizing a qualitative approach with an exploratory-descriptive design, data were gathered through a systematic literature review, adaptation platform observations, and in-depth interviews with educators and educational technology practitioners. The results indicate that AI utilization crystallizes into four primary domains: adaptive learning, virtual assistants, learning analytics, and academic assessment automation. This implementation significantly accelerates personalized learning for students and enhances teachers' time efficiency, which is highly relevant to fulfilling the essence of the Merdeka Belajar curriculum policy. However, the adoption of this smart technology still encounters crucial hurdles, including limited digital infrastructure, student data privacy vulnerabilities, and digital-based pedagogical competency gaps. This study concludes that through tactical planning, structured training, and strict ethical regulations, AI can serve as a catalyst for 21st-century inclusive educational innovation. Abstract

Abtrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Course Review Horay (CRH) pada materi peluang suatu kejadian di kelas VIIIH SMP YPPK Santu Paulus Abepura. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dengan subjek 30 peserta didik yang dipilih melalui pertimbangan guru matematika. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes tertulis, lembar observasi sikap sosial peserta didik, dan lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Analisis dilakukan secara deskriptif dengan menghitung skor akhir, rata-rata, dan persentase keterlaksanaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran CRH dapat diterapkan dengan sangat baik melalui tahapan penyajian materi, pembagian kelompok heterogen, permainan, dan pemberian penghargaan. Sikap sosial peserta didik memperoleh persentase 92,2% dengan kategori sangat baik, keterlaksanaan pembelajaran memperoleh persentase 94,4% dengan kategori sangat baik, dan nilai rata-rata post-test peserta didik mencapai 77,2 dengan kategori cukup serta melampaui Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum sekolah. Temuan ini memperlihatkan bahwa CRH berpotensi menciptakan suasana belajar matematika yang lebih aktif, menyenangkan, dan kolaboratif, meskipun guru perlu mengantisipasi keterbatasan waktu, ruang kelas, serta kebingungan peserta didik pada awal permainan. Abstract: This study aims to describe the implementation of the Course Review Horay (CRH) cooperative learning model in teaching probability of an event to class VIIIH students of SMP YPPK Santu Paulus Abepura. The study employed a descriptive design involving 30 students selected based on the mathematics teacher's consideration. Data were collected through written tests, student social attitude observation sheets, and observation sheets of learning model implementation. The data were analyzed descriptively by calculating final scores, means, and implementation percentages. The findings indicate that the CRH model was implemented very well through the stages of material presentation, heterogeneous group formation, game-based review, and group reward. Students' social attitudes reached 92.2%, categorized as very good; learning implementation reached 94.4%, categorized as very good; and the students' post-test mean score reached 77.2, categorized as sufficient and exceeding the school's minimum mastery criterion. These findings suggest that CRH has the potential to create more active, enjoyable, and collaborative mathematics learning, although teachers should anticipate time constraints, limited classroom space, and students' initial confusion during game-based activities.
