Abstract

Animal husbandry is the activity of breeding and cultivating farm animals in order to obtain benefits and results from these activities. The most widely cultivated livestock is chicken. One of the companies that utilize chicken is PT Reza Perkasa. The management of data records of laying hens in the company still does not have a system and still uses excel reports every week. Farmers in determining the chicken afkir is still in the form of traditional records. The problem can be solved by making a monitoring application and a system for determining abandoned laying hens using the naïve bayes method. It is expected that with the monitoring application, the general manager can quickly monitor in real-time, so that for the needs of chickens that are useful for improving production quality quickly without the need to wait for manual reports from the head of the cage.

Abstract

Computer networks are an important part of modern life, enabling the efficient exchange of information and resources between devices. One type of network topology that is commonly used is a bus topology. The bus topology has a simple structure and is easy to implement, making it an attractive choice for a variety of applications. The main finding of this research is that the bus topology has several advantages and disadvantages. The advantages of bus topology include low cost, ease of installation, and scalability. Disadvantages of bus topology include limited performance, low reliability, and the potential for data collisions.

Abstract

The ornamental fish market is growing rapidly due to the great interest in the hobby of keeping ornamental fish which is supported by technological advances.  Unfortunately, these technological advances also include problems that are still experienced by sellers and buyers, such as a lack of understanding of how to send fish and a lack of information about trustworthy sellers.  This research aims to formulate user needs and create an ornamental fish marketplace application interface using the Design Thinking method with good usability values.  This research discusses creating application interface designs using the Design Thinking method which focuses on users to overcome the problems above.  This research produces interface designs for 21 features with the main feature being a community that makes it easier for sellers to interact and displays ratings on stores to make it easier to find trustworthy sellers.  This research was carried out in two iterations, with the final test results in the second iteration being 92.85% (Learnability value) and 91.15% (Efficiency value) for five sellers.  Test results for five hobbyists / potential buyers obtained a Learnability score of 97.14% and Efficiency of 92.72%.  Meanwhile, Satisfaction (SUS) for both got a score of 83.5%.  The test results produced a good usability design.

Abstract

Education serves as the main pillar in the effort to develop human resources, continually evolving in line with the progress of time. Within the realm of education, English language learning plays a crucial role. However, the process of English language learning often faces challenges, including low levels of student motivation. This research explores the use of gamification with integrated chatGPT as an innovative solution capable of boosting student motivation and making learning more engaging and effective. Adapting previously proposed methodologies, this application is web-based, developed using Laravel, and tested using Likert scale. The testing yielded a satisfactory average result of 83%, with a 15.64% increase in user scores. The findings of this research provide a positive contribution to enhancing the quality of English language education in Indonesia, particularly at the Junior High School level.

Abstract

The rapid and modern development of technology has created an increasing need for adequate software, but sometimes the cost of software is often a problem for some individuals and companies who want to use it. Software piracy has become a common problem in society, which is detrimental to copyright holders and threatens the security of user data. This research analyzes publications on software piracy and its impact on Indonesian law from 2019 to 2024. The method used in this research is bibliometric analysis by collecting data through Google Scholar. The results show five main clusters covering legal aspects and internet technology.  Through this analysis, it was found that the close relationship between software piracy and Law No. 11 of 2008 on Electronic Information and Transactions, Constitution No. 28 of 2014 on Copyright, Law No. 1 of 2023 on the criminal code, and Law No. 1 of 2024 on the second amendment to Law No. 11 of 2008 on Electronic Information and Transactions are very relevant in dealing with this problem. However, further analysis is needed to understand their practical implementation and effectiveness in addressing software piracy. This research shows the potential for further research in software piracy based on keywords that are rarely used in previous studies.

Abstract

On August 14, 2023, Indonesia had approximately 228 million social media users, a number that is expected to continue growing to reach 267 million by 2028. Social media can be used to spread both positive and negative information, and one of the various negative effects is cyberbullying. Consequently, much research is conducted in the field of machine learning to develop sentiment analysis. One crucial step in sentiment analysis is word weighting. The two most common word weighting methods are TF-IDF and Word2Vec. These methods can be compared to determine which one produces better classification results, allowing cyberbullying sentiments on social media to be detected more accurately. Based on nine test scenarios, the final results showed that TF-IDF performed better than Word2Vec in this study, with an accuracy of 84%.

Abstract

The development of image processing technology today can create systems that are able to effectively recognize digital images, one of which is in the field of agriculture for plant disease identification. Citrus plants experience a decrease in productivity due to pathogen attacks on leaves such as Black Spot, Cancer, and CVDP so that disease identification is needed. The classification method that can be used to classify images is the K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) algorithm because it is simple and has high accuracy in image management. This study aims to implement and determine the performance of the K-NN algorithm in identifying citrus plant diseases based on leaf images. This research uses a dataset from the Kaggle website of 1,096 images. There are 12 research scenarios using the comparison between test data and training data as much as 4, namely (90% training data + 10% test data, 80% training data + 20% test data, 70% training data + 30% test data, 60% training data + 40% test data) and testing with 3 random state values (42, 32, 22). The results showed that the K-NN algorithm is very effective in identifying citrus plant diseases with the highest accuracy value in the 90% training data scenario and 10% test data with a value of K = 2 which is 98.5%.

Abstract

For project management software to be efficient and increase productivity, effectiveness, efficiency, security, and functionality, it must be able to accommodate different user needs. It is important to analyze human-computer interactions when designing software to prevent problems that could harm users. To help IT consultants and client organizations in managing and supervising projects more effectively, this author focuses on developing a “Web-Based Collaborative Project Management Information System for Information Technology Project Management”. IT consultants can share data, manage teams, connect with clients, and manage projects, tasks, and milestones with this solution. Business clients have access to IT specialists, can provide project quotes, and can aggregate project status. The waterfall development technique used includes requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, and maintenance. User research shows this.

Abstract

Information systems technology is currently very necessary in the field of education, especially in utilizing computer laboratory assets. Unfortunately, computer laboratory asset data processing is still done manually using handwritten logbooks which have weaknesses in terms of time, efficiency and effectiveness in data processing. Therefore, a web-based information system project management system is a solution to overcome the problem of processing computer laboratory asset data. This system development approach uses the waterfall method which includes needs analysis, system design, implementation and testing of the system. The system design uses use case and activity diagrams which are the final product of this research.  With this system, it is hoped that data processing can be accurate, handle data leaks and work processes will also be faster and more timely. System implementation. The system implementation is expected to improve the ability to process asset data in the computer laboratory.

Abstract

This research emphasizes the importance of health for every individual, as good health facilitates daily activities. One crucial aspect of health is physical health, which includes being free from various diseases. With the increasing public interest in traditional medicine, the information regarding the public's knowledge about traditional medicine also needs to be enhanced. Therefore, this research aims to develop a mobile-based traditional medicine information system at UPKM/CD Bethesda YAKKUM as an information medium for the wider community. The method used for system development in this research is the waterfall method, which involves stages such as concept, design, data collection, creation, and testing. The developed application is a mobile-based traditional medicine information system, designed to help introduce traditional medicine in Indonesia. This application is designed to be easily accessible without the need to worry about internet connection or data charges, and it can be used in various regions. The result of this research is a mobile-based information system application that provides information about traditional medicine for various diseases. This application includes information on types of medicinal plants, their benefits, and explanatory videos, making it easier for the public to learn about and understand traditiona l medicine.
