Abstract

The increasing competition in the culinary industry has encouraged business owners to focus not only on product quality and pricing strategies, but also on creating memorable customer experiences. This research seeks to examine the influence of experiential marketing dimensions composed of sense, feel, think, act, and relate toward Generation Z customer loyalty in culinary MSMEs. The research applied a quantitative approach using a survey method through questionnaire distribution to respondents selected through purposive sampling. The study utilized multiple linear regression to examine the collected data following the fulfillment of validity, reliability, and classical assumption requirements. The results demonstrate that all dimensions of experiential marketing indicate positive and significant effects on customer loyalty. Among the five dimensions, feel emerged as the most dominant factor affecting customer loyalty, while act showed the lowest effect. The findings also reveal that Generation Z customer loyalty tends to be stronger at the conative loyalty stage than at the action loyalty stage. Furthermore, experiential marketing contributed substantially to customer loyalty, while the remaining percentage was affected by other variables beyond the scope of this study. The findings support the experiential marketing concept introduced by Schmitt (1999) and the experiential value theory developed by Holbrook (1999), particularly within the context of local culinary MSMEs. This research suggests that culinary business owners should strengthen emotional experiences, customer engagement, and social interaction to maintain sustainable customer loyalty.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in supporting national economic growth, employment absorption, and improving public welfare. The rapid development of digital technology has led to increasingly competitive business competition, requiring MSMEs to adapt to changes in the business environment. One factor that can help MSMEs improve their competitiveness is the implementation of management accounting supported by digital technology. This study aims to analyze the influence of management accounting on the competitiveness of MSMEs in the digital era among MSMEs in Jambi City, Indonesia. The study used a cross-sectional survey design with a purposive sampling technique. A total of 80 respondents were involved in this study. Data were collected using a validated questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the help of IBM SPSS version 26. The results showed that management accounting has a positive and significant effect on the competitiveness of MSMEs, R² = 0.672, F = 32.765, p < 0.001. Furthermore, digital technology also significantly impacts the competitiveness of MSMEs (β = 0.321, p < 0.001). The study concluded that the implementation of management accounting and the utilization of digital technology can improve operational efficiency, decision-making quality, and the competitiveness of MSMEs in the digital era. The study recommends that MSMEs increase the implementation of digital-based financial recording systems to enhance business sustainability and competitiveness.

Abstract

This article examines how Sweden integrates and mobilizes its civilian population as a core component of its revitalized Total Defence strategy in the 21st century. Building on concepts from Clausewitz’s Total War, and Holling’s Resilience Theory, the study analyzes Sweden’s shift toward a whole-of-society defence model capable of responding to hybrid, cyber, and infrastructural threats. Using a qualitative research method supported by a systematic literature review, the analysis reveals three key mechanisms of civilian mobilization: strengthened civil–military coordination, structured preparedness education, and the incorporation of voluntary organizations and private sector infrastructure into defence planning. The findings show that Sweden’s Total Defence now functions as an adaptive societal ecosystem in which civilians contribute directly to national resilience. This approach demonstrates how modern defence strategies can transform societal readiness into a strategic advantage.

Abstract

The development of wearable technology, particularly smartwatches, has continued to increase along with people’s need for devices that can support daily activities, health, and modern lifestyles. Xiaomi has become one of the widely used smartwatch brands because it offers affordable prices and competitive features. However, the large number of brand choices has made consumers more selective in making purchase decisions. This study aims to determine the influence of brand image, product quality, and lifestyle on the purchase decision of Xiaomi smartwatch products in Bandar Lampung City. This research uses a quantitative approach with primary data obtained through questionnaires distributed to 190 Xiaomi smartwatch users. The sampling technique used is purposive sampling, while the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS. The results show that brand image, product quality, and lifestyle have a positive and significant influence on purchase decisions. The coefficient of determination indicates that brand image, product quality, and lifestyle are able to explain 24.3% of purchase decisions, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors outside this study. Therefore, Xiaomi needs to strengthen its brand image, improve product quality, and adjust its products to consumers’ lifestyles in order to increase purchase decisions.

Abstract

The agricultural sector is a major economic pillar on Sulawesi Island, yet increases in macro-level production often do not correlate directly with farmers’ actual well-being at the field level. This study aims to analyze trends in key agricultural sector indicators on Sulawesi Island and map the influence of macro factors on farmers’ well-being. The method used is descriptive quantitative with a trend analysis approach utilizing secondary panel data from 6 provinces on Sulawesi Island over the period from 2012 to 2023. The variables observed include the Farmer’s Price Index (FPI), agricultural Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), labor productivity, and agricultural sector inflation. The research results indicate a sharp polarization in agricultural economic performance across regions in 2023. West Sulawesi Province achieved the highest FER on record (121.47), driven by momentum in plantation commodity prices, despite being shaken by extreme inflation of 15.33% in 2021. Conversely, South Sulawesi Province established itself as a production giant with the highest agricultural GRDP (Rp72,266,300 million), but its per capita productivity remains low due to an agricultural structure that is still labor-intensive. Meanwhile, Gorontalo Province is the region with the most vulnerable purchasing power, trapped with an NTP below 100 (99.98), triggered by the massive conversion of rice fields and high inflation in production inputs. This study concludes that the slogan of increasing production is insufficient to improve farmers’ welfare without controlling rural inflation and ensuring price stability at the producer level.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Regional Original Revenue (PAD) and General Allocation Fund (DAU) on Capital Expenditure in the Jambi Provincial Government for the 2015-2025 period. The study uses a quantitative method with secondary data obtained from the Jambi Provincial Government Budget Realization Report published by the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance (DJPK) of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia. The research sample consists of 11 observations derived from time series data for the 2015-2025 period. Data analysis techniques used include descriptive statistics, normality tests, multicollinearity tests, heteroscedasticity tests, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination (R²) tests, F tests, and t tests with the help of the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) program. The results of the study indicate that Regional Original Income (PAD) does not significantly influence Capital Expenditure with a significance value of 0.520. The General Allocation Fund (DAU) also does not significantly influence Capital Expenditure with a significance value of 0.455. Simultaneously, PAD and DAU do not significantly influence Capital Expenditure with a significance value of 0.708 in the F test. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.083 indicates that PAD and DAU are only able to explain variations in Capital Expenditure by 8.3%, while the remaining 91.7% is explained by other factors outside the research model. The results of this study indicate that the Capital Expenditure of the Jambi Provincial Government during the research period is not significantly influenced by PAD and DAU, but is likely more influenced by other factors such as the Special Allocation Fund (DAK), Revenue Sharing Fund (DBH), Budget Financing Surplus (SiLPA), and regional budgeting policies. Keywords: Regional Original Income, General Allocation Fund, Capital Expenditure, Regional Finance, Jambi Provincial Government.

Abstract

Disasters generate multidimensional impacts that extend beyond physical destruction, affecting psychological well-being, social cohesion, and community resilience. This study examines the role of trauma healing in strengthening social resilience and community empowerment within post-disaster settings through the perspective of human security. The research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach supported by a systematic literature review. Data were collected from academic journals, books, institutional reports, and previous studies related to trauma healing, psychosocial recovery, human security, community empowerment, and disaster resilience. The findings indicate that post-disaster communities commonly experience fear, anxiety, emotional instability, social withdrawal, and declining social trust, all of which weaken adaptive capacity and collective resilience. Trauma healing interventions such as counseling, psychosocial support, group activities, religious approaches, and community therapy contribute significantly to restoring emotional stability and rebuilding social interaction among affected populations. Furthermore, trauma healing strengthens community empowerment by encouraging participation, rebuilding social cohesion, and increasing collective awareness regarding shared recovery responsibilities. The study also finds that psychosocial recovery contributes to adaptive capacity, community preparedness, mutual cooperation, and long-term social resilience, which are essential elements within the broader framework of human security and non-traditional security approaches. However, several challenges remain, including limited resources, lack of trained personnel, weak institutional coordination, cultural barriers, and sustainability issues in psychosocial recovery programs. The study concludes that trauma healing should be integrated into long-term disaster management and resilience strategies because psychological recovery constitutes an essential component of sustainable community resilience and societal stability in disaster-prone areas.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the fraud triangle, consisting of pressure, opportunity, and rationalization, on the tendency of financial statement fraud in energy sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2020–2024. The population of this study includes all 91 energy sector companies listed on the IDX. Through the purposive sampling method, 26 companies were selected as the research sample, yielding a total of 130 observations over the 5-year observation period. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis using EViews software. The partial test results show that the pressure factor, measured by asset changes (ACHANGE) and profitability (ROA), is proven to have a significant effect on triggering the tendency of financial statement fraud. Conversely, the opportunity factor, measured by the monitoring of the independent board of commissioners (BDOUT) and company receivables (RECEIVABLES), as well as the rationalization factor, measured by the type of public accounting firm (AUDIT), do not show a significant effect on the tendency of fraud. However, when tested simultaneously, the combination of pressure, opportunity, and rationalization is proven to have a significant effect on the tendency of financial statement fraud. The results also indicate that these three factors contribute 40.845% to explaining the tendency of financial statement fraud, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors outside this study.

Abstract

Public sector organizations, particularly in regional transportation, face strict market demands to adopt high standards of professionalism, speed, and operational efficiency. While employee performance is recognized as a dynamic outcome of complex internal and external factors, integrated studies concurrently examining the impact of intellectual capacity, operational pressure, and welfare guarantees remain limited. Therefore, this study aims to examine and analyze the partial and simultaneous influence of education level, workload, and remuneration system on employee performance at the Department of Transportation of Ngawi Regency, as well as to identify the most dominant variable. A causal quantitative approach was adopted, and a proportionate stratified random sampling technique was used to select a sample of 109 employees from a total population of 149 employees. Primary data was collected using a validated Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using multiple linear regression via SPSS version 27. The hypothesis testing results demonstrated that education level and the remuneration system have a positive and significant effect on employee performance, whereas workload has a negative and significant effect. Simultaneously, education level, workload, and the remuneration system jointly have a significant effect on employee performance, explaining 74% of the performance variation (Adjusted R Square = 0.740). The dominant variable test revealed that the remuneration system is the factor with the strongest influence on employee performance. The study concludes that an equitable remuneration system is the most critical factor in maintaining work motivation and service quality among study participants. The study recommends that institutional leaders prioritize merit-based incentives, evaluate the distribution of daily workload, and continuously facilitate employee educational development to optimize public service performance
