Abstract

Tourism development in Sanur has reshaped the economic and social dynamics of coastal fishing communities. This study analyzes how tourism influences gender role transformation and the welfare of fisher households using a quantitative design with survey data from 120 respondents. Multiple regression results show that tourism significantly contributes to livelihood diversification and increases women’s participation in income-generating activities such as small trading, culinary services, and tourism support services. These changes positively affect household welfare, with livelihood diversification acting as a key mediating factor. However, the shift in gender roles remains limited, as cultural norms continue to restrict women’s involvement in major household decisions. The findings highlight that while tourism enhances economic resilience, it does not automatically create gender equality. Therefore, gender-inclusive policies, training access, and support for women’s entrepreneurial activities are essential to ensure that tourism growth leads to more equitable and sustainable welfare outcomes in coastal communitie.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the growing beauty industry in Indonesia and the increasing public awareness of the importance of skin health and care. This study aims to analyze the influence of brand image and electronic word-of-mouth on purchasing decisions for Labore products in Bandar Lampung. This research uses a quantitative approach with a non-probability sampling technique, specifically purposive sampling. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to 200 social media users who had previously purchased or used Labore products. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS software version 27. The research results indicate that both brand image and electronic word-of-mouth have a positive and significant influence on the purchase decision for Labore products in Bandar Lampung. This proves that the stronger the brand image and the more positive the consumer reviews on social media, the higher the consumer's decision to purchase the product. This research has implications for companies to strengthen their brand communication strategies and optimize E-WOM in increasing consumer purchasing decisions in the local skincare market.

Abstract

Digital transformation is a strategic necessity that cannot be avoided in the era of technological disruption, including in the property sector. PT Graha Sarana Duta (GSD), a subsidiary of PT Telkom Indonesia engaged in property management, faces challenges such as uneven digitalization across directorates, limited system integration, varying levels of human resource readiness, and suboptimal infrastructure. This study aims to assess GSD’s level of digital transformation readiness using the Digital Maturity Model (DMM), identify key obstacles encountered, and formulate managerial strategies that align with the company’s business characteristics and organizational structure. This research employed a qualitative method through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document studies, involving 15 key informants from four strategic directorates: Operation, Business, Finance and Risk Management, and Planning. All informants have direct responsibilities in operations, finance, marketing, and planning processes, providing a comprehensive perspective on digital readiness across all areas. The findings indicate that GSD’s digital readiness is at an intermediate level, with several business processes already digitized, yet system integration and human resource capability enhancement remain necessary. Major challenges include limited infrastructure, resistance to the digitalization roadmap, and a lack of continuous training. Recommended strategies include strengthening digital leadership, accelerating system integration, improving competencies through structured training, and fostering a data-driven, collaborative work culture.

Abstract

This study aims to present a comprehensive mapping of the development of Integrated Reporting (IR) studies during the 2020–2025 period through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. This study identifies publication trends, methodological approaches, institutional contexts, and theoretical frameworks used in recent IR studies, with particular attention to research focusing on state-owned enterprises (SOEs). From the results of screening 1,390 documents indexed in the Scopus database, 42 articles met the inclusion criteria for further analysis. The findings show a significant increase in the number of IR publications since 2022, with a dominance of quantitative approaches and the use of stakeholder theory as the main conceptual basis. Research involving SOEs shows interesting dynamics, where developed countries emphasize governance and regulation, while developing countries tend to use IR as a means of legitimacy and transparency. This study concludes that IR continues to develop as a strategic reporting framework that bridges financial and non-financial aspects, with important implications for the public sector. These findings provide theoretical and practical contributions, and offer a relevant future research agenda, especially in the context of increasing SOE accountability.

Abstract

This study aims to systematically review the literature on Intellectual Capital (IC) within the context of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) during the period of 2020 to 2025. Using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach based on the PRISMA protocol, this article analyzes 30 indexed scientific journals relevant to the topic of IC and SOEs. The analysis reveals that Human Capital Efficiency (HCE) is the most dominant IC component influencing organizational performance, followed by Capital Employed Efficiency (CEE). The reviewed studies also indicate a growing trend in the use of the Value Added Intellectual Coefficient (VAIC) model and the increasing integration of IC with aspects of corporate governance (GCG), corporate social responsibility (CSR), and environmental uncertainty. Indonesia is recorded as the country with the highest number of related publications, followed by China and Italy. Although publication trends showed a significant increase during 2021–2022, qualitative research and multidimensional approaches to Relational Capital remain limited. This study recommends further exploration through longitudinal methods and cross-country comparisons to broaden the understanding of IC management in the public sector.

Abstract

The Bangka Belitung Islands Province is a center of white pepper production in Indonesia, known for its Muntok White Pepper brand. Muntok White Pepper is generally sold in unprocessed granules, thus limiting its added value. Efforts to increase added value include converting granules into ground pepper. One such ground pepper produced in Bangka Belitung is the "Harum Enak" brand. This "Harum Enak" ground pepper is produced by PT Pelangi Nusantara Sehati, located in Sungailiat, Bangka. This study aims to 1) analyze the effect of price on purchasing decisions for "Harum Enak" ground pepper in Pangkalpinang City, 2) analyze the effect of product quality on purchasing decisions for "Harum Enak" ground pepper in Pangkalpinang City, 3) analyze the effect of price on consumer satisfaction for "Harum Enak" ground pepper in Pangkalpinang City, 4) analyze the effect of product quality on consumer satisfaction for "Harum Enak" ground pepper in Pangkalpinang City, 5) analyze the effect of purchasing decisions on consumer satisfaction for "Harum Enak" ground pepper in Pangkalpinang City, 6) analyze the effect of price on consumer satisfaction through decisions for "Harum Enak" ground pepper in Pangkalpinang City, and 7) analyze the effect of product quality on consumer satisfaction through decisions for "Harum Enak" ground pepper in Pangkalpinang City. The study used a survey method with accidental sampling to collect data from 100 respondents. Data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The study's direct-effect results show that price has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for "Harum Enak" ground pepper in Pangkalpinang City. Still, it does not have a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction. Product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions, but does not affect consumer satisfaction; purchasing decisions, in turn, have a positive effect on consumer satisfaction. In the indirect effect, price does not have a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction through purchasing decisions, whereas product quality does.
