Abstract

This study aims to analyze trends in palm oil production, analyze factors influencing palm oil supply, and determine the elasticity of palm oil supply in West Sulawesi. The research method used is quantitative descriptive. The study was conducted in West Sulawesi. The data used is time series data from 2004 to 2024, spanning 20 years. Data analysis used includes trend analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, and the supply elasticity formula. The results show an increasing trend in palm oil production from 2004 to 2024, although annual data shows a fluctuation pattern of 0.4198, or 41.98 percent per year, equivalent to 0.028 units of production per year. Factors simultaneously influencing palm oil supply include the previous year's palm oil price, the previous year's urea fertilizer price, the previous year's cocoa price, harvested area, and rainfall. The variable with a partially significant influence is the harvested area. If the area of oil palm harvest increases by 1 percent, the supply of oil palm also increases by 0.276 percent per year. The elasticity value of the area of oil palm harvested commodities in the short term is 3.50 and the long term is 4.38 elastic while rainfall has an elasticity value with a value of 0.39 in the short term and 0.49 in the long term on the supply of oil palm commodities in West Sulawesi.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of managerial ownership, research and development (R&D), financial risk, and investment on firm growth in the Asian defense systems industry, with leverage serving as a mediating mechanism. The defense sector is characterized by heightened geopolitical exposure, persistent technological innovation requirements, and stringent risk governance, making the identification of firm-level growth drivers particularly critical(Gheorghe & Panazan, 2024).Using a balanced panel dataset of 74 defense systems firms operating across Asia over the observation period, this study applies panel data regression based on the Fixed Effects Model (FEM), complemented by mediation analysis to assess the indirect role of leverage(Sommet, 2025).The empirical findings indicate that managerial ownership and investment exert positive and statistically significant effects on firm growth. R&D intensity also demonstrates a positive association with firm growth, underscoring the strategic importance of innovation in sustaining competitive advantage within the defense industry(Nel et al., 2025). In contrast, financial risk does not show a significant impact on firm growth, suggesting the presence of effective risk management and institutional buffering mechanisms in defense firms. Moreover, leverage partially mediates the relationships between R&D and firm growth as well as between investment and firm growth, while its mediating role in other relationships is not statistically supported(Xia & Wei, 2025). This study offers novel empirical evidence by explicitly modeling leverage as an internal financial transmission mechanism linking innovation and investment to firm growth within a strategically regulated defense industry an aspect that remains underexplored in prior growth and capital structure literature(Wu et al., 2025). By focusing on Asian defense systems firms, this research extends existing evidence beyond conventional manufacturing or civilian high-technology sectors. The findings contribute to a more nuanced understanding of growth dynamics in defense-related industries and provide policy-relevant insights into ownership design, innovation financing, and financial governance under geopolitical constraints(Anderson & Luiz, 2025).

Abstract

Demand patterns tend to change when entering seasonal periods such as Ramadan, so accurate demand forecasting is needed to ensure that the supply chain runs optimally. Hypermart Pakuwon Mall Yogyakarta experienced out of stock and overstock for several of its products at the start of Ramadan, indicating that more accurate forecasting results are needed to prevent this from happening again. This study aims to find the best demand forecasting method for Hypermart Pakuwon Mall Yogyakarta. This study compares demand forecasting methods for top-selling dairy frozen products during Ramadan using the Single Exponential Smoothing (SES), Single Moving Average (SMA), and Double Moving Average (DMA) methods. The forecasting results of each method are then measured using Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). If a forecasting method produces the smallest MAPE value, it can be said to be the best forecasting method. The results show that the Double Moving Average Order 12 method has the smallest MAPE value of 17.36%. In this case, the Double Moving Average Order 12 method is the best 2 method to use for forecasting com

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to systematically map and synthesize the intellectual structure, thematic evolution, and future research directions of market reaction research in the ASEAN region using a bibliometric approach. Focusing on the period 2019–2025, this study captures the dynamics of market reaction literature before, during, and after the COVID-19 pandemic, a major global shock that reshaped financial market behavior and scholarly attention. ASEAN provides a unique empirical setting due to its heterogeneous market structures, evolving regulatory environments, and increasing integration into global capital markets. Using data extracted from a comprehensive bibliographic database, this study employs Biblioshiny (Bibliometrix-R) and VOSviewer to analyze publication trends, citation patterns, authorship and institutional networks, journal quartile distribution, and keyword-based thematic structures. The results reveal a substantial growth in market reaction research during the pandemic period, followed by a phase of empirical consolidation. While early studies exhibit higher citation impact and serve as foundational references, more recent publications contribute to thematic expansion with lower citation concentration, reflecting a maturing yet increasingly fragmented research landscape. The thematic analysis identifies a highly concentrated intellectual core centered on event study methodologies, abnormal returns, stock returns, and volatility, with a strong geographical orientation toward emerging and Southeast Asian markets. Overlay and density visualizations further demonstrate that COVID-19-related themes rapidly became dominant and reached saturation, highlighting the shock-driven nature of recent research. Journal analysis indicates that most studies are disseminated through Q2 and Q3 Scopus journals, with limited penetration into Q1 outlets, suggesting strong empirical relevance but uneven theoretical integration

Abstract

This study investigates the effects of professionalism, organizational commitment, and information technology (Pentana Audit) on auditor performance, with quality culture as a mediating variable. A quantitative research approach was employed, involving 78 auditors of the Inspectorate of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) as respondents, using a saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 3 software. The findings reveal that professionalism, organizational commitment, and information technology have positive and significant effects on quality culture. Furthermore, professionalism and organizational commitment significantly enhance auditor performance, while information technology does not have a direct significant effect on auditor performance. Quality culture, however, has a positive and significant influence on auditor performance. Importantly, quality culture is proven to mediate the relationships between professionalism, organizational commitment, information technology, and auditor performance. These results highlight the crucial role of quality culture in strengthening auditor performance.

Abstract

This study investigates the effects of job burnout and psychological contract breach (PCB) on turnover intention among contract employees (PKWT) at PT VADS Indonesia, Yogyakarta Branch, with perceived organisational support (POS) as a moderating variable. A quantitative explanatory approach was employed using survey data collected from 140 contract employees selected through simple random sampling. The data were analysed using SEM-PLS with SmartPLS 3.1. The findings indicate that job burnout has a positive and significant effect on turnover intention, suggesting that higher levels of work-related exhaustion increase employees’ intention to leave. Psychological contract breach also shows a positive and significant influence on turnover intention, reflecting the consequences of unmet implicit employment expectations. Furthermore, perceived organisational support moderates both relationships by weakening the positive effects of job burnout and psychological contract breach on turnover intention. These results highlight the strategic role of organisational support in mitigating adverse psychological conditions and enhancing employee retention within the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) industry

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of business capital and pricing strategies on the business income of karawo artisans in Kota Utara District. Karawo crafts are a superior product typical of Gorontalo which has high artistic and cultural value, but its development still faces constraints of limited capital and a price strategy that is not optimal. The study used a quantitative approach with a survey method of 30 karawo artisan respondents determined through purposive sampling techniques. Data processing was carried out using multiple linear regression analysis supported by validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The findings of the study resulted in a regression equation model, namely Y = 1.214 + 0.367X₁ + 0.412X₂. The partial test proved that business capital had a positive and significant influence on business income, which was evidenced by a t-calculated value of 2.585 greater than the t-table of 2.052. In addition, pricing strategies have also proven to have a positive and significant effect, with a t-count value of 2.964 which surpasses the t-table of 2.052. The simultaneous test showed that both variables simultaneously proved to have a significant effect, which was shown by the F-calculated value of 17.32 greater than the F-table of 3.35. Meanwhile, a determination coefficient of 0.562 shows that 56.2% of the variation in operating income can be explained by business capital and pricing strategies. This study concludes that increasing the income of karawo artisans requires strengthening business capital to increase production capacity and implementing pricing policies based on production costs, cultural values attached to products, and consumer purchasing power. The practical implications of this study emphasize the need for capital support and managerial assistance for karawo artisans for business sustainability and the preservation of local culture.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of behavioral finance on investment decision-making among university students participating in Indonesia Stock Exchange investment galleries in Bandung City. The study adopts a behavioral finance perspective by focusing on psychological biases, including overconfidence, loss aversion, herding behavior, and fear of missing out. A quantitative explanatory approach was employed using a survey method to collect data from student investors, which were analyzed using multiple regression techniques. The results show that loss aversion and herding behavior significantly influence students’ investment decisions, indicating that risk avoidance and social influence play a dominant role in shaping investment behavior. Meanwhile, overconfidence and fear of missing out do not have a significant effect on investment decisions in this context. Overall, the findings suggest that student investors’ decisions are strongly affected by behavioral factors rather than purely rational considerations. This study provides empirical evidence on behavioral finance in an academic investment setting and offers practical insights for universities, investment gallery managers, and financial education institutions in designing behavioral-based financial literacy programs to improve the quality of investment decision-making among young investors.
