Abstract

Previous theoretical and empirical studies have directed partnerships as part of educational activities. However, implementation at the level of Islamic educational institutions is still less than optimum, and studies on the importance of partnerships in Islamic educational institutions are also minimal. In fact, during the current pandemic, partnerships are not the only choice activity for Islamic educational institutions to carry out but are a must for achieving educational goals. For this reason, there is a need to present an integrative literature review on partnerships in the context of Islamic educational institutions that analyzes the crucial reasons for implementing partnerships systematically by Islamic educational institutions. By first discussing what school partnerships are and who is involved in school partnerships, the results of the integrative literature review suggest three crucial reasons why Islamic Education Institutions need to develop partnerships: sustainability, good governance, and quality improvements. The development of school partnerships is urgent and strategic, not only for the sake of realizing the goals of Islamic education but also as an effort to maintain the viability of Islamic education institutions in rapid environmental changes.

Abstract

This article explains the design of anti-corruption-based Islamic religious education learning in junior high schools. Educational institutions become media for prevention as a preventive effort in tackling corrupt behavior from an early age. By using qualitative research methods, the data in this research were obtained through interviews and searching curriculum documents. This study found that the anti-corruption PAI learning design was carried out by designing primary objectives and competencies, both subjects and graduates, which referred to anti-corruption values, such as honesty, trustworthiness, trustworthy and responsible. The learning objectives are formulated through basic competencies, reinforced by contextual learning methods realized through habituation, dialogical, interactive, and integrative learning experiences. This study also found that learning evaluation was carried out through authentic assessment because anti-corruption behavior cannot be assessed only by cognitive understanding but requires observation and trust to develop a trustworthy attitude. This study provides theoretical implications that anti-corruption education in educational institutions needs to be strengthened by integrative learning designs, which increase students' understanding need an academic infrastructure that can support the birth of behavior with integrity.

Abstract

Along with the development of the times and culture's contact from outside, the moral boundaries that are firmly held by the community are increasingly unclear. At school, for example, many students experience a decline in moral reasoning. However, the limited literature that focuses on improving moral reasoning with a quasi-experimental approach, the author will examine psychological interventions Rational Emotive Behavior Counseling (REB) and Psychoeducation (PSE). This study aims to identify differences in effectiveness between group counseling interventions with PSE and REB in improving students' moral reasoning. The author uses a quasi-experiment with a pretest-posttest follow-up design. The study subjects were Sarbini Islamic Junior High School students who had low moral levels. The research subjects consisted of 22 students divided into 11 students in the PSE group and 11 students in the counseling group with the REB approach. The data analysis results showed differences in students' moral reasoning in the REB and PSE groups. The average increase in students' moral reasoning was higher in the REB group than in the PSE group. The author concludes that group counseling with REB and PSE approaches can be applied to improve moral reasoning in students in schools, especially those based on Islam. However, for more optimal results, the authors suggest using REB.
