The corruption in Indonesia is one of the biggest problems the government and the business must face. Employee in the entity may provide one of the solutions for this problem. They may do the whistleblowing when they know that there is violation in the entity. Professional commitment and anticipatory socialization are the factors to foster whistleblowing. This study aims to obtain empirical evidence regarding the impact of professional commitment and anticipatory socialization toward whistleblowing intention. 155 eligible accounting students are taken as subjects for this study. The questionnaire is disseminated electronically to the sample. As a result, professional commitment affects whistleblowing intentions of accounting students. Furthermore, male who profess professional commitment will likely do the action of whistleblowing compare to female. On the other hand, there is no statistical evidence found to prove that anticipatory socialization affects the intention to do whistleblowing. Consequently, the system of the company must facilitate the improvement of professional commitment so it may foster the intention of the employees to whistleblow. Therefore, manager should pay attention to degree of the professional commitment of the employees.

The phenomenon of workplace romance is an integral part of organisational dynamics. Workplace romance might result in both positive and negative effect. The negative side of workplace romance bears the phenomenon of workplace affair, in which workers engage in extra-marital relations with each other. This research aims to test whether past behaviour, conscientiousness personality, which a part of big five model personality traits and attitude have an impact on the likelihood of employee’s engagement in the workplace affair. As many as 250 workers in Greater Jakarta participated in the survey with minimum tenure six months as criteria of sampling. The analysis of data is performed using structural equation modelling (SEM) process. The result indicates that workers who have workplace romance engagement in their past behaviour would affect the attitude of perceiving workplace romance. The attitude itself plays as a mediator between past behaviour and the engagement of workplace affair. At the same time, personality determinant does not give any significant effect on attitude and engagement in workplace affair. To mitigate the issue of workplace affair, the organisation needs to perform background checking prior accepting the employees since the past behaviour of engagement in workplace romance is the reliable indicator of future likelihood in workplace affair engagement. While the previous research studies about the effect of workplace romance, this study emphasize deeper into the findings from the workplace affair perspectives, which is the negative effect of workplace romance.

In the current scenario where the corporates in India are committing to green supply chain practices, this paper attempts to understand the key environmental drivers that impact green supply chain practices. Thus, the focus of this research paper is to recognize the direct and indirect effects of environmental drivers on the green supply chain practices. Quantitative data regarding corporate environmental drivers and green supply chain practices were collected from 12 manufacturing companies in India. Path analysis was performed through structural equation modeling technique to identify the significant environmental drivers. Further, the direct and indirect effects of the environmental drivers were determined by decomposing the structural equations. The results obtained demonstrated that regulatory pressure, customer pressure, socio-cultural pressure and competitor pressure affect green supply chain practices at varying levels of significance at different stages of the supply chain process. The result of this study invites necessary attention of the managers to undertake an analysis of the effect of potential environmental drivers on the functioning of green supply chain practices in their firms.

The increasing of credit leds to increase the level of risk taking by banks that its concentration of banking in a country plays in influencing banking risk taking. This study examined the effect of banking market concentration on bank risk taking. It also explored the moderating variable of bank size on the effect of market concentration on risk taking in the banking sector. The results of the study showed that the banking market concentration has the positive effect on banking risk taking. The size of the bank weakens the positive effect of market concentration on bank risk taking. The larger the size of the bank in a concentrated banking market, the lower the risk taking of the bank. The concentrated banking market requires to distribute the market share in banks to be carried out by banking regulators so that the banking market is not concentrated and reduces banking risk taking.

The results of the study show that the number of board of the commissioner meetings, return on assets, earnings per share, and price to book value had significant effects on stock prices in a positive direction; the number of directors, education/training for corporate secretaries, and price to earnings ratio had positive but insignificant effects; the number of independent commissioners and the number of board of the director meetings had negative but insignificant effects on share prices. According to the concerted efforts to reduce global greenhouse gas emissions (GHGE), the Information and Communication Industry (ICT) has received little attention as a significant contributor to GHG. ICT has a very significant role to play in reducing greenhouse gas emissions in Canada. While climate challenges increase, there is a growing need to reduce Greenhouse gas emissions. The ICT sector has an important role in enabling significant reductions in those emissions and costs. This current study aims to examine the effects of GHGE on climate change in Canada with a focus on the ICT sector. A well-protected cyber environment is virtually non-existent in the technical landscape of the 21st century, exposing financial institutions to risk. To preserve the well-being and trust of the public within financial systems, the financial sector needs a stable and robust cybersecurity system. This study sought to determine the causes and sources of cybercrime, the degree to which banks are aware of cybercrime, and to assess their understanding of cybersecurity and possible solutions to cyber threats. A sample of five commercial banks in Zimbabwe was surveyed and data was analyzed using descriptive statistics. Findings revealed low awareness of cybersecurity, the absence of anti-virus protection, and a cybersecurity framework. Further, the study established that financial institutions are not providing adequate financial support and training relating to cybersecurity. The study recommends investment in cybersecurity, training, and awareness campaigns to cultivate a culture of cyber alertness.

The study focused on reinforcement model establishment for peanut supply chain as one of potential exporting commodity due to the threat of global trade liberalization. As one of main peanut producer area, however, Bangkalan Regency has poor management along the chain with various problems internally and externally. The research involved primary data through both observation and in depth interview of several key informants at main producer area in Bangkalan Regency such as head of farmer groups, extension workers and local leaders. The strategic model analyzed by using SWOT analysis had resulted turn around strategy that emphasize consolidation and improvement of weaknesses while catching opportunities. Improvement of weaknesses strategies can be done by involving farmers into local base institution such as farmer group and cooperative group, providing farmers the literacy program, educating farmer on digital equipments for e-market preparation, and empowering micro scale business of peanut base material. Next, the opportunities considered to be taken are embracing middleman as partner, building peanut industry, distributing infrastructure improvement to remote agricultural area, providing information by having partnership with vendor such as XL and Telkomsel, and assisting farmer’s marketing institution in the operation.
