Abstract

ABSTRACT This study wants to determine the influence of employee engagement (EE) and leader-member exchange (LMX) on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) with job satisfaction (JS) as a mediating variable in private university education personnel. The study delved deeper into how EE and LMX can improve job satisfaction and OCB, where previous studies have yielded mixed results. This research method with data was collected through an online survey of 100 staff working at a private university and analyzed using a structural equation model (Smart PLS). The results showed a direct influence on the variables EE on JS, EE on OCB, JS on OCB, and LMX on OCB, which showed a positive and significant influence, while LMX on JS had no significant effect. Meanwhile, the indirect influence can be seen from the influence of the EE-JS-OCB variable of 0.260 (positive) with a P-value of 0.000 < 0.05 (significant), meaning that JS plays a role in mediating the influence of EE on OCB. (H6). The indirect influence of LMX-JS-OCB is 0.048 (positive) with a P-value of 0.0193> 0.05 (insignificant), meaning that JS does not play a role in mediating the influence of LMX on OCB (H7). Research that discusses the relationship between work attachment variables, LMX, job satisfaction, and OCB has been done a lot, but no studies have been conducted on private university staff in South Kalimantan. Therefore, this study will discuss the relationship between work attachment variables, LMX, job satisfaction, and OCB of private university staff in South Kalimantan. Keywords: Employee engagement, LMX, Job Satisfaction and OCB

Abstract

This study explores the impact of organizational structure and integrated coordination mechanisms on organizational growth. As businesses face increasing complexity and dynamic market conditions, understanding the interplay between structural design and coordination is crucial for sustaining growth and enhancing performance. This research employs a qualitative approach, analyzing various organizational structures—including hierarchical, flat, and hybrid models—and their effectiveness in fostering operational efficiency and scalability. The study also examines how integrated coordination mechanisms, such as cross-functional teams and advanced information systems, contribute to improved resource management and responsiveness to market demands. Findings indicate that organizational structures must be adaptable to accommodate changing business environments and growth trajectories. Hierarchical structures provide control and consistency, essential for managing complex operations, while flatter structures enhance flexibility and innovation. However, a hybrid approach often offers the most significant advantages by combining the strengths of both models. Additionally, effective coordination mechanisms are pivotal in aligning cross-functional efforts, optimizing resource allocation, and facilitating communication, thus driving overall growth. The study underscores the importance of selecting the appropriate structural and coordination strategies to align with organizational goals and market conditions. It recommends adopting a hybrid organizational structure and investing in advanced coordination tools to navigate modern business challenges effectively. These insights provide a framework for organizations seeking to enhance their growth potential through strategic structural and coordination enhancements.

Abstract

Marriage itself has a goal, namely to form a happy family, and hopes that children will be the pride of the family so that they can continue their offspring. However, it can be seen that there are still many marriages that do not produce offspring. So many of these husband and wife couples adopt children. To anticipate conflicts or disputes in the future, child registration should also be done through a court order, this is to ensure legal certainty. As an example of the case in decision No. 35/Pdt.G/2018/PTA.Plg. The case in this decision is that there was an adopted child named Kiki Wahyuni who was not adopted through a court decision, but only adopted through custom. This of course gave rise to conflict. When both of her adoptive parents died, the research results showed that even though Kiki Wahyuni was not adopted through a court decision, However, the judge brought witnesses to state that it was true that Kiki Wahyuni had been cared for since she was a 1 (one) year old baby, namely around 1989 to 1999. Based on the Compilation of Islamic Law, Kiki Wahyuni should not have received assets from her late adoptive parents through a mandatory will. However, because there is a conflict between Article 171 letter h of the Compilation of Islamic Law and the court's decision, then through the principle of Res Judicata Pro Viratate Habetur, the judge's decision is considered correct and can be implemented

Abstract

This research investigates the connections among electronic word of mouth (e-WOM), destination image, visitor satisfaction, and visitor loyalty within the setting of Sade Tourism Village in Central Lombok. Using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Smart-PLS 4.0 student version software, the study applies a purposive sampling technique to gather data from 100 respondents. The findings reveal that e-WOM significantly influences destination image and visitor satisfaction, though it does not directly affect visitor loyalty. Furthermore, destination image has a notable impact on visitor satisfaction, but not on visitor loyalty. Visitor satisfaction, however, significantly enhances visitor loyalty. The study also finds that destination image does not mediate the relationship between e-WOM and visitor loyalty significantly, whereas visitor satisfaction does mediate this relationship effectively. Overall, the study highlights the critical role of visitor satisfaction in fostering visitor loyalty and enhancing destination image through positive e-WOM.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of environmental performance, environmental costs, and green accounting on the financial performance of companies in Indonesia. The research population consists of manufacturers listed between 2020-2022 on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Purposive sampling was used to choose a sample of 34 companies. Panel data regression statistics were tested with the EViews 12 program. The study’s conclusions demonstrate that environmental costs have a significant effect on financial performance, but green accounting and environmental performance do not significantly affect financial performance. This research implies that companies develop regulations that encourage utilizing green accounting to enhance the company’s environmental performance. If a company implements a stricter environment, it can improve operational efficiency and increase investor and stakeholder confidence.

Abstract

Abstract This study wanted to determine the impact of leader-member exchange (LMX) and Competence on performance with organization citizenship behavior (OCB) as a mediating variable in private university academic staff. Data was collected through an online survey of staff working at private universities totaling 75 people and analyzed using structural equation models (PLS). The findings show a direct influence for LMX variables on OCB, Competence on OCB, LMX on performance, Competence on performance, and OCB on performance, which has a positive and significant effect. While indirect influence can be seen from the impact of competency variables on performance through OCB, it is 0.095 (positive) with a P-value of 0.061 > 0.05 (not significant), meaning that OCB variables do not play a role in mediating the influence of Competence on performance. The second variable has an indirect effect of the LMX variable on performance through OCB 0.179 (positive) with a P-value of 0.012 < 0.05 (significant), meaning that the OCB variable plays a role in mediating the effect of LMX on performance. The limitation of this paper is that it only uses 75 respondents from academic staff in private universities in the South Kalimantan and Central Kalimantan regions; for future research, more respondents can be used, and a wider area of respondents can be used. Keywords: LMX, Competence, OCB and Performance
