Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate and compare the financial performance of leading digital banks in Indonesia PT Bank Jago Tbk, PT Bank Neo Commerce Tbk, and PT Allo Bank Indonesia Tbk during the period of 2021–2024. Amidst the rapid digital transformation and shifting consumer behavior in Indonesia's financial sector, assessing the stability and sustainability of technology driven institutions is essential. Using a descriptive-comparative quantitative approach, this research employs the CAMEL framework, focusing on key financial ratios: Capital Adequacy Ratio, Non Performing Loan, Operating Expenses to Operating Income, Return on Equity, and Loan to Deposit Ratio. Data analyzed using descriptive statistics and ANOVA to identify significant performance differences. The results indicate that while all three banks maintained capital adequacy well above regulatory requirements, significant variances exist in efficiency and profitability. Allo Bank demonstrated superior operational efficiency and the highest profitability, while Bank Neo Commerce faced initial profitability challenges before recovering in 2024. Bank Jago showed a stable transition from aggressive expansion to improved credit quality. Statistical tests confirm significant differences in financial health across the sampled banks. These findings provide valuable insights for regulators in monitoring digital banking stability and for management in optimizing risk based digital business models.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of price and brand image on consumer purchasing decisions at McDonald's fastfood restaurants in Jember Regency. This phenomenon is interesting because of the dynamics of modern lifestyles and global socio-political issues that influence consumer perceptions. The research method used is a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 120 MCDonald's Jember customer respondents using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis was carried out through validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis tests (t-test and F-test). The results of the study partially show that price has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions (t=2.152; Sig.=0.033). The brand image variable also has a dominant and significant positive effect (t=10.363; Sig.<0.001). Simultaneously, both variables have a significant effect on purchasing decisions with a value of F=134.720 and a contribution of influence (R2) of 69.7%. These findings confirm that affordability through value-for-money packages and strong brand reputation are key factors for Jember consumers in choosing McDonald's as their primary culinary choice.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of price and product quality as determinants of interest in buying preloved products among Generation Z in Jember. This research is driven by the rising popularity of preloved fashion as a solution for young people to remain stylish despite economic constraints. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected via structured questionnaires distributed to 130 university students in Jember, selected through purposive sampling techniques. The data analysis included instrument testing (validity and reliability), classic assumption tests, and hypothesis testing using multiple linear regression. The results of the t-test indicate that price (t-count 3.392, sig. 0.001) and product quality (t-count 4.854, sig. 0.000) both have a positive and significant partial effect on purchase interest. Furthermore, the F-test results show a simultaneous significant effect (sig. 0.000) with an R Square value of 0.422, meaning these two variables contribute 42.2% to the purchase interest. This study concludes that a combination of affordable pricing and maintained product functionality drives the shift toward sustainable fashion among Gen Z.

Abstract

The rapid development of the creative economy requires traditional herbal small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to improve their competitiveness. However, many herbal SMEs still face challenges in innovation, packaging, and marketing. This study aims to analyze how strengthening innovation capability can enhance the competitiveness of traditional herbal SMEs. The research employed a quantitative approach using a survey of 70 traditional herbal SME owners and managers. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, reliability and validity testing, correlation analysis, path analysis, and mediation analysis. The results show that digital media, storytelling, and collaboration positively influence innovation capability, while product innovation has a negative effect. Furthermore, innovation capability strongly mediates the relationship between creative economy elements and competitiveness, with digital media being the most dominant factor. These findings highlight the importance of digital literacy, collaboration, and authentic product narratives in strengthening the competitiveness of traditional herbal SMEs.
