Abstract

The surge in Mobile Legends' popularity among pharmacy professors prompts research on its impact on social dynamics and relationships. The game's team strategy elements provide a virtual space for professors to connect, shifting from traditional academic interactions. The research findings illuminate the positive influence of the Son of Hippocrates E-SPORT Team approach in playing Mobile Legends on the interpersonal closeness of pharmacy professors at Kadiri University. Collaborative aspects within the game, such as the creation of strong team bonds, enhanced communication, and support for cooperation beyond the academic sphere, contribute to an improved level of interpersonal relationships among faculty members. The Spearman Correlation Test results (r = 0.245, p = 0.005) support the established positive relationship between Mobile Legends gameplay and the Son of Hippocrates E-SPORT approach among pharmacy lecturers, with the calculated r-value (0.245) surpassing the critical r-value (0.114) and the significance value (0.005) falling below α = 0.05. This acceptance of H1 suggests a meaningful connection between Mobile Legends activities and the Son of Hippocrates E-SPORT

Abstract

This report investigates the biodiversity of marine animals, focusing on extinct sponge species near Lesbos Island based on Aristotle's descriptions. Mujito, introduced in the literature review, is from the GeoMaud expedition in Antarctica. Various instrumental analysis methods, such as ESI mass spectrometry and NMR, contribute to a comprehensive understanding of the compounds, particularly in the context of Alzheimer's research. The pharmacantarctic literature study concludes that Antarctic Mumijo, particularly from Mujito fossil deposits, holds significant biomedical potential. It exhibits organic components like wax esters with notable biomedical activities, particularly in treating bone diseases. Additionally, Mumijo's composition resembles non-fossil samples, with wax esters dominating and unique components like α-glyceryl fatty alcohol ethers indicating neuroprotective potential. The research suggests promising applications in Oriental medicine, addressing wounds, skin diseases, tuberculosis, respiratory diseases, and neurological conditions like Parkinson's and Alzheimer's. Overall, Antarctic Mumijo showcases diverse biomedical prospects, emphasizing its organic components' therapeutic value

Abstract

Forensic pharmacy is crucial in identifying hazardous substances like mercury in beauty products. Counterfeit items with mercury pose health risks, emphasizing the need for accurate identification methods. The research, employing content analysis, focuses on illegal cosmetics containing mercury, aiming to understand distribution patterns and assess associated health risks. This systematic approach provides valuable insights into public health issues, contributing to safer regulatory practices. The utilization of these products may pose serious health risks to consumers. The implicated products include Temulawak New Day & Night, CAC Glow, Natural 99, HN (Day & Night), SP Special UV Whitening, Dr Original Pemutih, Super DR Quality Gold SPF 30, Diamond Cream, Herbal Plus New Day & Night, Ling Zhi Day & Night, Sj Sin Jung, Tabita, and Krim Labella. In Indonesia, the use of mercury in cosmetic products is prohibited by legislation, such as Law Number 32 of 2009 on Environmental Protection and Government Regulation of the Republic of Indonesia Number 81 of 2016 on the Security of Industrial Chemicals. Additionally, BPOM, responsible for overseeing drugs, food, and cosmetics, has issued relevant regulations

Abstract

Cannabidiol (CBD), non-psychoactive cannabinoid, was extracted from Cannabis sativa leaves by using solvent extraction method followed by reflux condenser procedure. Physical and chemical properties of Cannabidiol (CBD) were determined. Various parameters and contents of extracted oil were analyzed. Two different samples were prepared by applying different conditions. Sample “A” was prepared by applying reflux condenser and sample “B” was prepared by soaking eaves in ethanol (solvent) for one week. Various parameters and contents of extracted oil were analyzed. TLC, UV, GC-MS, IR and HPLC techniques were applied for characterization of both samples and oil. Some tests were also performed for the detection of proteins, carbohydrates, Steroids, tannins, gums and mucilage. Acid value, saponification number and specific gravity were also calculation by applying titration method. The results of both samples were showing major differences. The CBD content was also different in both samples. Due to non-psychoactive nature of CBD, it is known as safe side of marijuana and has many therapeutic benefits
