Abstract

This research aims to examine the impact of technology use on student academic achievement through secondary data analysis. This study utilizes data from various educational institutions in Indonesia covering the 2019-2023 period and involving 1,500 high school students. The methodology applied is quantitative analysis of existing datasets, with a focus on the relationship between technology use pattern and academic achievement indicators. The result showed a significant positive correlation (r = 0.68, p < 0.01) between the use of technology for educational purposes and academic achievement, especially in STEM subjects. However, excessive use of technology for non-educational purposes showed a negative correlation (r = -0.45, p < 0.01) with academic performance. This research concludes that although educational technology can improve student student achievement, appropriate guidance and restrictions on use remain essential to achieving optimal results. These findings provide useful insights for educational institutions in formulating technology integration policies.

Abstract

This journal aims to understand the positive and negative impacts of visual media in students learning motivation. We know that at this time the enthusiasm for leraning of students is starting to decline,this isbecause the teaching methods commonly used by teacher/lecturers are very monotonous and boring so that students are now starting to get bored with the lessons delivered by their teachers/lectures. With the learning methods using visual media that has been applied by teachers, students interest in learning has now increased so that students are now actively learning using visual media and students now like to explore the knowledge they have just learned.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of humanistic-based group counseling to improve students' self-confidence. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study design, involving 11 8th grade students of SMPN 234 Jakarta who have low self-confidence. The counseling process includes the stages of opening, transition, core activities, and ending. The results showed a significant increase in aspects of public speaking, assertiveness, and open acceptance of criticism. An empathetic, supportive, and non-judgmental counseling environment provides space for students to recognize their potential and increase their self-confidence. This study recommends the integration of a humanistic approach in school counseling programs to support students' psychological development.

Abstract

An inverter is an electronic device that functions to convert direct current (DC) voltage into alternating current (AC) voltage. In this design, a single-phase inverter is developed to convert 12V DC into 220V AC using a PWM IC type CD4047BE as the pulse signal generator. The CD4047BE is operated in astable mode to produce a symmetrical square wave signal, which is then amplified and used to control power transistors or MOSFETs that act as switching devices for the step-up transformer. The transformer increases the output voltage up to 220V AC. This system is designed for small-scale applications such as emergency lighting or light electronic devices. Testing showed that the inverter circuit is capable of generating AC voltage with a frequency close to 50 Hz and a waveform that approximates a square wave. These results indicate that the CD4047BE is effective as a PWM controller in a simple inverter system.

Abstract

This study aims to gain an in-depth understanding of how monetary policy affects the development of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. The research employs a qualitative approach through literature review, documentation, and semi-structured interviews with MSME actors and financial practitioners. The main focus is on the perceptions of business actors regarding the impact of changes in interest rates and liquidity on access to financing, revenue growth, and business sustainability. The findings indicate that monetary policy, particularly in the form of interest rate reductions and liquidity easing, is perceived positively by MSME actors, although its implementation still faces structural challenges. This study concludes that the effectiveness of monetary policy in promoting MSMEs is highly influenced by the role of financial intermediaries and the broader macroeconomic conditions.

Abstract

The issues of energy crisis and global warming have driven innovation in the development of environmentally friendly and energy-efficient technologies. One promising solution is the utilization of Solar Power Plants (PLTS) as a renewable energy source for small-scale electricity needs, such as in room temperature control systems. This study aims to design and implement a room temperature control system based on Arduino, which is fully powered by energy from PLTS. The system operates by reading the room temperature using a DHT22 temperature sensor, and then automatically activates a fan or cooling device according to predetermined temperature thresholds. All the energy used in this system is supplied by solar panels connected to an energy storage and conversion system. Testing results show that the system functions effectively in maintaining room temperature within a comfortable range and is capable of operating independently without relying on the conventional power grid. The use of PLTS in this system not only provides energy efficiency but also contributes to environmental conservation efforts by reducing carbon emissions.

Abstract

This paper reviews the design and implementation of a battery charger that utilizes renewable energy sources, especially solar energy. The main emphasis of this research lies on the effectiveness of battery charging, the monitoring system to check the state of charge, as well as the protection inside the battery to extend its lifespan. By utilizing solar panel technology, the system is designed to offer an environmentally friendly and sustainable solution to the battery charging process. The findings of this study show that the developed system can achieve a maximum level of charging efficiency, as well as features that ensure safety and reliability during use.

Abstract

Waste management is still a major challenge in various regions, especially in densely populated urban areas. One of the main problems is the lack of public awareness in sorting waste based on its type, such as organic, inorganic, and metal waste. As a result, waste that should be recycled or reprocessed instead piles up in landfills, polluting the environment, and accelerating ecosystem damage. To overcome these problems, innovative solutions are needed that can help the waste sorting process automatically and efficiently. Microcontroller-based automation technology is one promising approach in this field. Arduino Uno, as one type of microcontroller that is popular and easy to use, allows the design of smart systems with affordable costs and high flexibility.

Abstract

The conflict between Iran and Israel is one of the geopolitical issues that has attracted the most global attention in the past decade. Entering an open escalation phase since June 13, 2025, the conflict has triggered a surge in online information searches from people around the world. In this context, public search behavior can reflect collective concerns and be an important indicator in reading global perceptions of an international crisis. This study aims to group countries in the world based on their search patterns for the Iran-Israel conflict using a Google Trends-based data mining approach. The study was conducted by collecting Google Trends data for the first 12 days of the conflict escalation, using three main keywords: “Iran Israel conflict”, “Iran Israel war”, and “Iran Israel News”. The method used is K-Means Clustering, an unsupervised learning algorithm that is effective in forming clusters based on the similarity of data patterns. Data from more than 100 countries were processed through preprocessing, normalization, clustering, and visualization stages using Principal Component Analysis (PCA). The analysis results showed that there were three main classes that represented differences in global search characteristics. The first cluster was dominated by countries with high interest in war aspects, the second class reflected equal interest in all keywords, and the third class showed low search intensity overall. Countries with the highest number of search interests included Afghanistan, Albania, and Algeria. It was concluded that bold search data can be used as an indicator of global attention to conflict issues. This approach is relevant to quickly understand public perception patterns, and can be applied to other international issues in digital geopolitical studies.

Abstract

Solar energy is one of the most potential renewable energy sources in tropical areas such as Indonesia. Its utilization is carried out through a Solar Power Plant (PLTS) system consisting of solar panels, solar charge controllers (SCC), batteries, and converters. Solar panels convert light energy into electricity using the principle of the photovoltaic effect, with a conversion efficiency of around 15–20%. The energy generated is controlled by a PWM type SCC before being stored in a 12V 65Ah dry battery. To meet the needs of charging devices such as mobile phones, the system is equipped with a step-down converter and fastcharging module that can adjust the output to 3–12V. [1] The installation system also pays attention to electrical safety standards, including the selection of cables and the use of MCBs according to PUIL 2000. This system shows great potential in providing efficient and environmentally friendly alternative electrical energy.
