Abstract

The contamination level of microbes isolated from raw beef meat preserved in a cash crunched Nigerian economy was investigated due to spoilage by microbes as observed in the market space. Beef meat samples were purchased from abattoirs, separated and preserved in three parts namely: the salt treated part, the cold/refrigerated treated part and the non-treated part. The meat samples were analyzed using standard microbiological procedure and result showed a significant difference in the microbial load, which were significant in terms of meat spoilage. Thirty-nine microbial isolates were obtained belonging to four species namely: Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus faecalis, Escherichia coli and candida sp. Following this, the use of salt as a preservative agent raised the contamination level of the meat. Thus, other forms of preservation should be considered, aimed at cushioning the likelihood of poor Government policies in future, considering the fact that energy supply via electricity is poor.

Abstract

Naturopathic medication is a distinct and comprehensive device of healthcare that embodies a holistic philosophy, emphasizing the inherent recuperation power of nature and the advertising of typical well-being. Rooted in traditional healing practices and modern medical understanding, naturopathic medicinal drugs integrate various modalities to address the underlying causes of contamination and guide the body's innate capability to heal. At its center, the philosophy of naturopathic medicinal drugs recognizes the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit within the context of a character's surroundings. The guiding standards underscore the significance of identifying and addressing the root causes of disorder in place of merely alleviating signs and symptoms. Practitioners emphasize affected person education and empowerment, taking part with individuals to increase personalized remedy plans that embody dietary modifications, lifestyle adjustments, natural treatments, bodily remedies, and more. Prevention is a cornerstone of naturopathic medicine, emphasizing proactive measures to maintain fitness and prevent illness. By emphasizing a healthy and balanced way of life, pressure reduction, and nutritional help, naturopathic medicine strives to create an environment conducive to optimal fitness. Naturopathic physicians frequently combine conventional medical expertise with traditional and herbal treatments, promoting a synergy that takes advantage of the strengths of each technique. This philosophy respects the body's inherent capability to heal while also spotting the benefits of evidence-based interventions when vital.

Abstract

Breastfeeding has been the primary technique for nourishing infants, providing unparalleled blessings for both bodily and cognitive development. However, the changing existence, cultural shifts, and societal expectations have caused a decline in breastfeeding prices. The modern-day revolution in baby breastfeeding is characterized by a renewed emphasis on its significance, supported by the aid of a wealth of medical proof. Research has underscored the specific composition of breast milk, such as antibodies and vital vitamins, which contribute to increased fulfillment and immune system improvement. This revolution has been fostered through elevated attention campaigns that sell breastfeeding as the finest toddler feeding technique. Governments and non-earnings businesses are actively advocating regulations that support breastfeeding mothers, such as workplace motels and public breastfeeding attractiveness. Gleichzeitig, healthcare companies, are offering improved lactation help, equipping mothers with the understanding and sources essential for a hit breastfeeding story. Technological advancements played a pivotal role in this revolution. Breast pumps have become extra green and user-friendly, enabling mothers to express milk without difficulty. Telemedicine and online lactation consultants provide customized steering and troubleshooting, improving accessibility to professional advice. The revolution extended past organic moms, highlighting the importance of inclusive parenting. Equal-sex couples, adoptive mothers and fathers, and those facing demanding breastfeeding situations are making the most of donor-milk banks and system alternatives designed to mimic the composition of breast milk.enefits of evidence-based interventions when vital.

Abstract

Diverse phytochemical compounds derived from the Echinacea plant have received extensive attention because of their potential biological and medicinal applications. Echinacea-based merchandise is extensively used to enhance the immune system and alleviate various ailments. This summary delves into the high-quality phytochemical varieties present in Echinacea species and highlights their associated biological activities. The healing capability of Echinacea stems from its diverse array of bioactive compounds, including alkamides, caffeic acid derivatives, polysaccharides, and flavonoids. These compounds have immunomodulatory, antioxidant, and antiviral properties. Therefore, Echinacea has been the subject of extensive research to understand its mechanisms of action and its potential scientific applications. However, the efficacy and quality of Echinacea-derived products face challenges associated with optimal manipulation and germplasm improvement. Ensuring regular tiers of bioactive compounds throughout unique batches of merchandise and addressing the issues of adulteration are vital for dependable therapeutic outcomes. Additionally, the genetic variability among Echinacea species provides hurdles in retaining consistent phytochemical profiles, making germplasm development urgent. Therefore, interdisciplinary efforts are required to address these challenges. Advanced analytical techniques, which include excessive-performance liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry, enable the specific quantification of the bioactive components of Echinacea. Molecular biology equipment is a resource for characterizing genetic diversity and identifying the key biosynthetic pathways. These improvements pave the way for better management protocols and targeted breeding strategies to enhance the Echinacea germplasm.

Abstract

Challenges Encountered by Elderly Patients on their Medications in Bongabong Oriental Mindoro: Basis for Medication Application aimed to investigate the challenges faced by elderly patients in connection to their medication management in Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro. A quantitative research approach was employed, involving a self-administered survey questionnaire distributed to a convenience sample of elderly patients in Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro. The results revealed that the elderly patients generally had a positive status, with a weighted mean score of 3.90 for feeling physically healthy, 4.50 for the ability to perform daily activities independently, and 4.00 for mental well-being. However, challenges in medication management were identified, including occasional forgetfulness (weighted mean score of 2.90), confusion about dosage or frequency (weighted mean score of 3.50), and some discomfort in asking questions about medications (weighted mean score of 3.90). The effectiveness of technology solutions in addressing these challenges yielded mixed perceptions among the respondents, with a neutral response (weighted mean score of 3.20) regarding its helpfulness in managing medications independently, agreement (weighted mean score of 3.50) on improved understanding of medication instructions, and another neutral response (weighted mean score of 3.20) regarding its impact on medication adherence. These findings highlight the importance of addressing medication management challenges for elderly patients and suggest the need for tailored interventions. By developing targeted solutions such as medication reminders, simplified instructions, patient education, and improved communication, healthcare professionals, policymakers, and technology developers can enhance medication management, improve the quality of care, and ensure medication safety for the elderly population in Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro.

Abstract

The emergence of eye fatique in junior high school students during the online learning process is caused by the length of time the eyes stare at the laptop for a long time. In addition, the presence of more sophisticated learning media, the position of the laptop is very important and has a main function in supporting the online learning process. From a preliminary study conducted on 10 students from a private junior high school in Denpasar, it was found that 50% of students experienced complaints of dizziness, 50% glare and 20% sore eyes. With the above background, a study with the same subject design was conducted involving 25 students with an age range of 13-14 years. The study was conducted for 3 consecutive days, namely on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday by measuring eye fatigue using an eye fatigue questionnaire. The data were analyzed using the t-paired test at a significance level of p = 0.005. After using the laptop was limited according to the radiation exposure time from the appropriate laptop, the eye sight distance to the monitor screen was set 50-100 cm and interspersed with pauses or rest periods then the average eye fatigue in students before the improvement of 22.54 can be reduced to 5.25 or about 71%. Conclusion: From the research, it was concluded that limiting the duration of using laptops during online learning can reduce students' eye fatigue
