Abstract

This study aims to determine how the influence of behavior therapy counseling to overcome isolated behavior of junior high school students. In this study, researchers used qualitative research methods with a qualitative descriptive model. Subjects taken in this studyamounted to 7 students who came from class VIII. Data collection methods in this study using observation, interviews and documentation. The validity of the data used was data triangulation technique, in research the data used was source triangulation. The data analysis that the researchers used was inductive analysis with steps consisting of data reduction, data presentation, and the last, in the form of drawing conclusions. The results showed that behavior therapy counseling to overcome students' isolated behavior can be applied in junior high schools. This is evidenced by the results of research which show the isolated behavior of students before being given behavior therapy counseling services is in the low category. Meanwhile, after being provided with behavior therapy counseling services, it shows that 5 people are in the high category and the other 2 people are in the category that is in several indicator.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain an overview of the relationship between learning saturation and academic procrastination of students of the Guidance and Counseling Study Program, Sriwijaya University. The sampling technique used was totaling sampling on 81 4th semester students in the Guidance and Counseling study program at Sriwijaya University. The research method uses a correlational study approach and data collection uses a learning saturation scale and academic procrastination scale collected through google form. Dataanalysis was carried out using the Pearson Product Moment formula in the SPSS 21 application. The results showed the correlation value rxy = 0.719, which means that learning saturation in the network has a strong positive relationship with student academic procrastination, where the higher academic procrastination, the higher academic procrastination.

Abstract

The education sector has been influenced the spread of the Covid-19 virus which almost all schools were to prevent the Covid-19 virus. This study aims to determine the level of academic procrastination of class XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Martapura. This study uses aquantitative descriptive method. The data collected using the psychological scale of academic procrastination Likert scale model. The number of samples selected as many as 161 students from class XI was selected randomly by using proportional random sampling technique. The data analysis technique used is the percentage (%). The results showed that academic procrastination which includes four aspects, namely time perception, action intention, emotional stress, and perceptual ability is in the moderate category with a percentage of 63.35%. In the low category with a percentage of 32.30% and the high category with a percentage of 4.35%. So it can be said that all respondents show the level of academic procrastination is in the category with a percentage of 63.35%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the principal's leadership on the performance of guidance and counseling teachers through work motivation in Denpasar Private Vocational School. The research sample was 30 teachers of guidance and counseling of Denpasar Private Vocational School. The variables studied were the principal's leadership, work motivation, and the performance of the guidance and counseling teachers. The impact test will be carried out using path analysis techniques. From the research results it is known that there is a positive and significant relationship between all variables with the path coefficient as follows, (1) principal leadership on the performance of guidance and counseling teachers = 30.9% (2) principal leadership through work motivation on performance = 52 , 9%, (7) BK teacher competence through work motivation on performance = 30.4%. Based on these findings, the guidance and counseling teacher performance coaching is based on the leadership of the principal who is more concerned with mutual interests, in decision making involving guidance and counseling teachers, two-way communication, and always holding discussions and deliberations in deciding anything for the betterment of the school. In addition, the principal's support is sought in granting further study permits, training and workshops as well as giving awards to outstanding guidance and counseling teachers.

Abstract

The corona virus pandemic that has hit the world requires everyone to follow health protocols to protect themselves and others from disease transmission. This has also led to many new policies made by the government, especially in education, one of which is a learning system from home for formal education. Education during the pandemic is carried out online, although not all students can learn online effectively because there are various differences in the learning atmosphere compared to the pandemic period, amid the limitations that exist, student still follow the learning which is believed to be driven by various of motivation. This study aims to determine the sources of motivation learning from home of grade VII students at Junior High School 2 Warkuk Ranau Selatan in 2020/2021. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. The data were collected using a questionnaire of sources of motivation learning from home. The populations in this study were students of class VII at Junior High School 2 Warkuk Ranau Selatan in 2020/2021 with a sample size 51 respondents from total population of 103 people. The sampling technique is done through random sampling. The results of the data analysis conducted were 8 students (16%) choose Intrinsik Process Motivation, 11 student (21%) choose Instrumental Motivation, 14 student (28%) choose Eksternal Self-Concept Motivation, 12 student (23%) choose internal self-concept Motivation, and 6 student (12%) choose Goal Internalization. Eksternal self-concept Motivation be the most chosen indicator and Goal Internalization be the least selected indicator.

Abstract

he purpose of this study was to determine the phenomenon of aggressive behavior in adolescent girls in grade 10 Ips Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Darul Dakwah wal Irsyad Palu City which is a religious-based school but has a serious case record. This research includes fieldresearch with a descriptive qualitative approach. The data sources in this study were 1 BK teacher, and 5 female students in class 10 Social Studies. Data collection methods used are interviews, observation and documentation. The analysis technique uses interactive analysis. The results of this study indicate that aggressive behavior is the source of juvenile delinquency cases, namely verbal and relational aggression, this aggressive behavior occurs in female students and verbal and relational aggression behavior is easy to develop in the school because some of the female students come from a family background that is not harmonious and comes from from an unhealthy environment and negative circle of friends.

Abstract

The teachers complained that the training that had been going on at P4TK for a week or more, and was only filled with theories that they had previously stated, while at the end, some teachers were tired and when they returned to their assignments they only brought a sheet of research. This program aims to provide training to participants in a short time in one skill training. This training uses a SMART model approach (specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound) with the material "Consulting Services" is a counseling service by acounselor to one or more customers (consulters) if the consultants want it, which supports the consultancy gaining insight, understanding and ways that need to be applied to deal with third party issues. This model is implemented in a face-to-face format between counselors (as consultants) and customers (as consultants). The subjects of the SMART-based training are 15 BK SMP teachers in South Nias Regency. The results show that skills are an important factor that can help improve the competence of BK teachers, who participate in consultation activities specifically for students at the school as a third party.
