Abstract

People's Business Credit (KUR) is credit or financing in the form of working capital or investment aimed at MSMEs (micro, small and medium enterprises and cooperatives) in productive and viable but not yet bankable businesses with a loan ceiling of up to IDR 500,000,000. 00 guaranteed by the guarantor company. The difficulty faced in determining the prospective beneficiary is that the staff in the utilization section takes a long time to verify the files of the prospective people's business credit recipients. Therefore, an application is needed that can help staff of Bank BRI KCP Lapai, North Kolaka Regency, in determining credit recipients, namely a decision support system. This application is made by applying the MOORA method, the MOORA method is a method that has calculations with minimum and very simple calculations. This method has a good level of selectivity in determining an alternative. The approach taken by MOORA is defined as a process simultaneously to optimize two or more conflicting constraints. Based on the results of system testing using sample data that has been carried out on the Decision Support System, it produces 4 data , 1 data is feasible and 3 data is not feasible.

Abstract

Digital libraries (digital libraries) or also known as electronic libraries (e-libraries) are introduced with the advantage of providing collections in electronic form that can be accessed by users without limitations of place and time by using electronic media such as computers, laptops or gadgets connected to computers. The E-Library information system for areas without a signal at SMPN Satap 1 Kolaka Utara is a data processing system that is enabled to process new member registration data, visit data processing, transaction data processing, book data processing, and fine processing. The research method uses the method of literature study, observation, interviews, and the system development method uses the waterfall. The analysis and design tools used are data flow diagrams (DFD) and database design using Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), the programming language used is hypertext preprocessor (PHP), and the database uses MySQL. The test method uses Blackbox and UAT testing. From the results of the discussion in the previous chapters, it can be concluded that the E-Library information system for areas without a signal at SMPN Satap 1 Kolaka makes it easy for members to read books offline and makes it easier to manage book data and borrow books.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has emphasized the importance of wearing masks as a preventive measure. To facilitate mask detection and ensure compliance, computer vision techniques have been widely utilized. This research aims to develop a mask detection system using the YOLO (You Only Look Once) method. YOLO is a real-time object detection method that provides accurate and efficient results. The proposed system utilizes a pre-trained YOLO model trained on a dataset comprising images of individuals with and without masks. The YOLO model can detect and locate faces, as well as differentiate between individuals wearing masks and those who are not. The method works by dividing the image into a grid and predicting bounding boxes and class probabilities for each grid cell. This approach enables real-time mask detection with minimal computational overhead. Experimental evaluations were conducted using various relevant benchmark datasets. The evaluation results demonstrate that the mask detection system using the YOLO method achieves high detection rates and fast response times. This research is expected to contribute to the effort of monitoring mask usage to control the spread of COVID-19.

Abstract

Giving awards to outstanding students is one of the motivators so that students develop, improve, and maintain their achievements in the academic/non-academic field so that healthy competition arises between students in positive terms. However, in determining student achievement the determining factor is only based on the results of the national exam scores. The drawback is that it is considered subjective because students who have achievements do not necessarily get good test scores so a system is designed that can assist in determining outstanding students, namely the Decision Support System (SPK). This study uses the Systems Development Life Cycle prototyping model and research and development type of research. Data collection uses interviews, literature studies, and questionnaires. Testing the system with blackbox testing, assessing the media expert system and evaluating the system using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. The research results show that the system is very feasible in the use and development of determining student achievement with effective and objective results. This is motivated by the acquisition of an average media expert score of 88% and a system evaluation by a user of 83.75. Because the value is in the range of 81-100, the system can be categorized as very feasible to use and develop.

Abstract

This research discusses a comparison of two algorithms for an automatic essay assessment system (Simple-O), namely generalized latent semantic analysis (GLSA), Laplacian Eigenmaps embedding (LEM) and hybrid indexing. The two algorithms are compared to find out how the two algorithms work, processing speed, and assessment results. Comparison of how it works is done by comparing the pseudocode of each algorithm. The processing speed is calculated to find out a faster algorithm for assessing essays. The GLSA hybrid indexing algorithm is a development of the LEM algorithm. The fundamental difference between the two algorithms is in the treatment of nouns and words other than nouns. This research used a sample of eight questions completed by 48 students (384 data). From the research results, GLSA LEM has a total processing time of 46.51454 seconds, which is faster than GLSA hybrid indexing. Meanwhile, the average processing time for GLSA LEM and GLSA hybrid indexing to assess one answer is 6-6.6 seconds. The assessment results from GLSA LEM and GLSA hybrid indexing have the highest similarity level of 95.83% and the lowest 16.67%. Of the eight questions tested, five of them had a similarity level of more than 83.33%.

Abstract

Technology has become an integral part of people's lives, especially smartphones. Smartphones are needed nowadays because of their very complete functions and features. Due to the large number of users, manufacturers compete to create smartphones with various features and prices. Often, the large number of cell phones available makes users confused about choosing a smartphone. So calculations and comparisons are needed from various sides so that users don't make the wrong choice. Therefore, this research proposes a method of calculating and comparing smartphones based on fuzzy logic with the resistance method through a system created by researchers. These calculations and recommendations rely on information from market demand through researchers who are also smartphone market players, so they can provide recommendations that are quite accurate and by conditions that often occur in the market. With this recommendation system, users can easily search for the cellphone they want, coupled with the fuzzy logic calculation method, which makes this system's calculations more accurate, thereby preventing user choice errors. With this, users also get a comparison of recommendations that will help them choose the smartphone they want.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools (pesantren) are Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia that must adapt to technological developments. Developing a digital-based management information system is one of the solutions to support effective data management and administrative processes. However, data collection at Al-Muayyad Windan Islamic Boarding School is still carried out conventionally, which often causes inefficiency in managing student information. Therefore, this research aims to develop a student management information system using an agile software development methodology, namely the Scrum model, which allows iterative development and continuous feedback. The implementation of Scrum was successfully carried out through stages including Product Backlog, Sprint Planning, Sprint Backlog, Sprint, Sprint Review, and Retrospective. The resulting system has passed feasibility testing and usability evaluation. The SUS test involving 10 respondents produced an average usability score of 73, categorized as Acceptable on the Acceptability Range, Grade C on the Grade Scale, and Good on the Adjective Rating. These results indicate that the developed system is functionally feasible, user-friendly, and capable of supporting digital transformation in Islamic boarding school management.
