During initial surveys at the Siti Kholijah Marelan Primary Clinic, 15 postpartum mothers provided breast milk to their babies, but the milk produced was insufficient. Objective: This study aimed to determine the intensity of smooth breast milk production in postpartum women before and after being consuming moringa tea at. Methods: This is a quasi-experiment with one group pretest and posttest with no control design. Purposive sampling was used to select 10 postpartum women from a population of 25 to consume moringa tea twice a day for 7 days. The color and questions in the ASI production were among the instruments used in the penalty. The production of breast milk in postpartum moms is the dependent variable in this study, whereas the independent variable is the administration of 2 grams of Moringa leaf tea twice daily for seven days, brewed with 150 milliliters of hot water. The data was analyzed using Paired Sample T-tests. Results: obtained the mean value of breast milk production before and after giving moringa tea (14.10-50.50), as well as the standard deviation of breast milk production before and after giving moringa tea (8.252-13.834). The results show that value of 0.001 <0.05, indicating that moringa tea drinking affects the smooth production of breast milk in postpartum mothers.

Abstract

Introduction: Nutritional problems are crucial in human life. Malnutrition affects health by increasing morbidity, mortality, and disability while also reducing a country's human resource quality. Objective: This study analyzes the relationship between maternal complementary feeding patterns and child growth among children aged 6 to 24 months in Bago Village. Methods: This research employs an observational analytic method with a cross-sectional approach. A total of 80 respondents were selected using accidental sampling. The independent variable is maternal knowledge about complementary feeding, while the dependent variable is child growth. Data analysis was conducted using the Spearman Rho test to examine the relationship between the two variables. Result: Findings indicate that 43 mothers (53.8%) demonstrated good complementary feeding practices, while 71 children (88.8%) exhibited good growth. The Spearman Rho test yielded a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05), leading to the rejection of H0 and acceptance of H1. This confirms a significant correlation between maternal complementary feeding patterns and child growth. Conclusion: proper complementary feeding is essential for meeting toddlers' nutritional needs. Adequate nutrition supports optimal growth and development, while growth barriers may manifest as weight discrepancies relative to age.

Abstract

Introduction: Stroke occurs when a blood vessel in the brain is blocked or ruptured. This prevents the brain from getting blood and oxygen, causing brain cells to die. Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the stroke prevention checklist on preventing re-attack strokes, using a survey research method, namely using samples from a population and using a questionnaire as an instrument for collecting primary data. Method: The type of quantitative research uses a survey method, cross-sectional design. Sampling uses a non-probability sampling technique and uses 45 samples that are purposive sampling (stroke patients). The instrument in this study uses the prevention checklist format from the American Stroke Association in 2022. The analysis is divided into univariate, namely describing the characteristics of respondents (age, gender, diagnosis) and research variables. Furthermore, bivariate analysis was carried out to see the relationship between the independent variable, namely the stroke prevention checklist, and the dependent variable, namely re-attack stroke, and using the chi square test. Multivariate analysis uses a regression test. Results of the study showed that the application of stroke prevention checklist in preventing recurrent stroke attacks was very effective. The results of the simultaneous test showed that the variable of maintaining a diet was the most effective preventive measure in preventing stroke (p = 0.003). Conclusion: People who have had a stroke have a greater risk of having another stroke, especially if the risk factors are not well managed.
