Abstract

Hypertension can be referred to as a condition when the systolic blood pressure exceeds 140 mmHg and the diastolic blood pressureexceeds 90 mmHg, as measured on two occasions with a five-minute interval, while the individual is in a state of sufficient rest andcalm. The use of 3-month injectable birth control containing progesterone can increase blood pressure. Increased blood pressure inbirth control participants can be overcome pharmacologically and non-pharmacologically. The aim of the investigation was to analyzethe administration of a mixture of tomato juice (Solanum lycopersicum) and star fruit (Averrhoa carambola L.) Against lowering bloodpressure in injectable Kb acceptors for 3 months. The research design used an experimental approach one group pretest and posttest.Sampling technique with purposive sampling, the number of samples is 30 people. The statistical test employed is the t-test. Theresearch showed 24 (80%) respondents had a decrease in blood pressure and 6 (20%) respondents had a fixed blood pressure withan average systole change of 130.00 mmHg and diastole 85.17 mmHg. The findings of Paired Samples T-Test obtained a significancevalue of 0.000 (p < 0.05) which means that there is an influence of giving a mixture of Tomato Juice (Solanum lycopersicum) and StarFruit (Averrhoa Carambola L.) At acceptor kb inject 3 months. This is influenced by the content of potassium as an antidiuretic so thatit can reduce sodium levels in the urine by the kidneys

Abstract

Unfortunate circumstances such as poverty, isolation, and neglect compel the elderly to reside in nursing facilities. In order to effectively cope with the various physical, psychological, social, and environmental changes that occur during the aging process, older individuals must possess the ability to adapt and demonstrate resilience. The study aims to provide a comprehensive description of the resilience levels exhibited by the elderly residents residing in the social welfare department-served nursing home. The present study employs a descriptive methodology with a cross-sectional approach. The study used total sampling to collect the samples. The study used Maneerat's Elderly Resilience Scale Questionnaire to measure resilience. The study applied univariate statistics, encompassing mean, standard deviation, and percentage, to the data. Out of a total of 49 respondents, 26 (53.1%) had strong resilience, whereas 23 (46.9%) had less resilience. Elderly people who live in a social welfare department-served nursing home tend to have good resilience. We anticipate that the nursing home's management will create programs that enhance resilience, such as problem-focused and emotionally-focused coping, as well as group activities that foster social and spiritual interaction among the elderly.

Abstract

Measurement of patient capabilities in carrying out self-care can use the Diabetes Self-Management Questionnaire (DSMQ) instrument which includes some of the most important aspects of self-management, namely glucose management, diet control, physical activity, and the use of health care, but now the instrument is not yet available in The Indonesian version, so the instrument needs to go through the translation and back-translation process to used in the Bahasa version. This type of research is a descriptive study with translation and back-translation methods. There are no differences in the meaning of the results of the Third Translation Expert, only shows a change in the structure of the synthesis sentence that refers to the default Bahasa orders. DSMQ instruments have been through the translation process with the back-translation method which produces a good translation. Therefore, for the follow-up of this study, researchers recommend conducting validity and reliability tests to determine the feasibility of the instruments
