Abstract

Pencemaran lingkungan di Indonesia akibat sampah plastik semakin meningkat. Plastik tidak hanya berpengaruh terhadap pencemaran laut, plastik juga memicu terjadinya “perubahan iklim”. Perubahan iklim disebabkan oleh tingginya jumlah emisi gas CO2 yang menimbulkan berbagai dampak negatif terhadap bumi kita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui proses dari penggunaan kantong kain di kalangan mahasiswa dan mengetahui ketertarikan mahasiswa terhadap daur ulang. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan kuesioner kepada 15 mahasiswa jurusan Sastra China. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa sudah mengetahui dan mendapatkan informasi mengenai daur ulang dan sudah menerapkan kegiatan daur ulang sampah plastik tersebut. Mahasiswa juga memahami proses penggunaan kantong kain. Mahasiswa juga tertarik terhadap kegiatan daur ulang tersebut salah satunya beralih menggunakan kantong kain sebagai pengganti kantong plastic. Penggunaan kong kain selain lebih hemat, juga dapat mengurangi limbah sampah plastik, ramah lingkungan, lebih praktis dan juga nyaman.

Abstract

Employee data management system or often known as Human Resources Information System (HRIS), is a system to manage employee data. This study discusses the evolution of HRIS through the Thomas Kuhn’s paradigm theory, which suggest that scientific progress is not linear but evolve through phases of normal science and paradigm shifts. The initial paradigm of HRIS involved a simple and manual spreadsheet system, which then shifted to an integrated HRIS platform due to anomalies and crisis. The method used in this study is philosophical, especially phenomenology, to explore the characteristic, anomaly and paradigm shifts in HRIS development. The implementation of the new technologies such as AI and Edge Computing is proposed to address new anomalies, driving further innovation. This study concludes that changes in HRIS are part of dynamics of the development of science and technology that continues to grow.

Abstract

Abstract- The history of development in a reality of human life occupies a space and context of fundamental change. The space and context of change absorb the paradoxical dimensions of human life. Accommodation of interests that dominate position, authority, collective policies, and development values ​​also reduce the identity of development. This can be seen in the development of tourism in the premium city of Labuan Bajo. This paper aims to explain the political ethics of development as a concrete step in seeing, reflecting, and making decisions about the collective development of a society. A review of political ethics in development is an effort to understand the reality of injustice and discrimination of the morality of the rights of poor and oppressed minority communities. The results and discussion show that the reality of people's lives that live in the collective imagination of building the world of tourism development in Labuan Bajo also invites critical analytical reviews in the idealism of political development. Two main points found that as far as the concept of calculus of pain and calculus of meaning inhabits a political ethics of development, society gets an invitation to be involved in critical analysis and ethical sensitivity of collective development. Peter L. Berger is of the view that to become a whole human being certainly requires reflection as well as action. Abstrak Sejarah pembangunan dalam suatu realitas kehidupan manusia menempati ruang dan konteks perubahan yang fundamental. Ruang dan konteks perubahan itu menyerap dimensi-dimensi kehidupan manusia yang paradoksal. Akomodasi kepentingan-kepentingan yang menguasai kedudukan, wewenang, kebijakan kolektif, dan nilai pembangunan turut mereduksi identitas pembangunan. Hal ini terlihat dalam pembangunan pariwisata kota premium Labuan Bajo. Tulisan ini hendak menjelaskan etika politik pembangunan sebagai langkah konkrit dalam melihat, merefleksikan, dan mengambil keputusan pembangunan kolektif suatu masyarakat. Tinjauan etika politik dalam pembangunan adalah usaha memahami realitas ketidakadilan dan diskriminasi moralitas hak-hak minoritas masyarakat miskin dan tertindas. Hasil dan pembahasan menunjukan bahwa realitas kehidupan masyarakat yang tinggal dalam imajinasi kolektif membangun dunia pembangunan pariwisata di Labuan Bajo juga mengundang tinjauan kritis analitis dalam idealisme politik pembangunan. Dua poin utama yang ditemukan bahwa sejauh konsep calculus of pain dan calculus of meaning mendiami suatu etika politik pembangunan, masyarakat mendapatkan undangan keterlibatan dalam analisis kritis dan kepekaan etis suatu pembangunan kolektif. Peter L. Berger berpandangan bahwa untuk menjadi manusia seutuhnya tentunya membutuhkan refleksi sekaligus tindakan. Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang pesat telah membawa perubahan signifikan dalam cara individu berinteraksi, berkomunikasi, dan mengakses informasi. Di era digital ini, masyarakat dihadapkan pada berbagai tantangan, termasuk penyebaran informasi yang tidak akurat, ancaman privasi, serta perilaku negatif di dunia maya. Dalam konteks ini, konsep kewarganegaraan digital menjadi semakin relevan sebagai landasan untuk memahami tanggung jawab dan etika dalam penggunaan teknologi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menjelaskan komponen serta prinsip utama dari kewarganegaraan digital yang relevan dengan kondisi masyarakat saat ini, mengkaji tantangan yang muncul akibat perkembangan teknologi dan mengidentifikasi peran kewarganegaraan digital dalam mengatasi tantangan tersebut, serta mengevaluasi kontribusi pendidikan dalam membekali generasi muda dengan pengetahuan dan keterampilan kewarganegaraan digital yang diperlukan di era teknologi yang terus berkembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka, penelitian ini menganalisis berbagai literatur yang membahas konsep kewarganegaraan digital, yang mencakup pemahaman etika, keamanan informasi, dan partisipasi aktif dalam dunia maya baik dalam berupa buku dan jurnal. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa kewarganegaraan digital tidak hanya berfokus pada penggunaan teknologi, tetapi juga pada tanggung jawab dan sikap individu dalam lingkungan digital. Di tengah maraknya penyebaran informasi palsu, risiko privasi, dan perilaku online yang tidak etis, kewarganegaraan digital menjadi krusial untuk membangun masyarakat yang cerdas dan adaptif. Selain itu, penelitian ini menyoroti peran pendidikan dalam membekali generasi muda dengan keterampilan dan pengetahuan yang diperlukan untuk berpartisipasi secara bertanggung jawab di dunia digital.

Abstract

Dewasa ini, Indonesia sedang mengalami krisis etika ekologi. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari berbagai fenomena yang terjadi belakangan ini. Fenomena-fenomena tersebut ialah kerusakan dan eksploitasi hutan, pembuangan sampah dan limbah secara sembarangan, serta perburuan liar. Berhadapan dengan situasi tersebut, penting untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran ekologis dalam diri masyarakat. Masyarakat mesti sadar akan tanggung jawabnya terhadap keutuhan dan kelestarian alam. Salah satu pemikir yang membahas tentang etika tanggung jawab adalah Hans Jonas. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji urgensi prinsip tanggung jawab Hans Jonas di tengah krisis etika ekologi di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan studi kepustakaan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pemikiran Hans Jonas tentang prinsip tanggung jawab sangat urgen untuk ditempatkan sebagai dasar dalam pengelolaan Sumber Daya Alam di Indonesia. Menurut Jonas, manusia berkewajiban untuk menghormati alam sebagai sesuatu yang memiliki tujuan pada dirinya sendiri. Manusia juga bertanggung jawab untuk menyiapkan dunia yang cocok dihuni oleh manusia di masa depan. Gagasan Jonas merupakan sumbangan yang penting demi keutuhan dan kelestarian alam serta keberlangsungan masyarakat Indonesia di masa mendatang. Abstract

Since the eye and the ability of perception have been recognized in painting techniques, especially in representational painting, questions have emerged regarding how an artist’s perception of reality can be transferred into a work of art. This transfer of the artist’s perception into the artwork can be found in the Impressionist movement. Impressionism is a major art movement that revolutionized not only painting tools but also painting techniques and the paradigm of reality in the eyes of painters. Impressionism focuses on how light can define a moment in time, with color providing definition rather than black lines. From this definition, it is evident that the transfer of an artist’s perception is influenced by moments in time. One philosopher who discusses the moment in time is Henri Bergson. This study focuses on how an artist’s perception of reality can be expressed in the form of artwork, particularly within the Impressionist movement. The main issue explored is how an artist's perception is understood and processed into a work of art, by examining the influence of experiences of time, light, and color on the creation process. This research aims to outline the discussion of perception in Henri Bergson’s theory, especially in Impressionist painting. The study finds that at the very least, memory images are at play when the painter's perception is active, which in painting practice is referred to as "impression" in the Impressionist movement. Impressionism, grounded in the artist's connection with impressions of their reality, is, according to Bergson, an accumulation point of memory images contained within a person's memory and consciousness.

Abstract

This paper examines the spread and development of Confucian teachings in Indonesia that evolved into the Konghucu religion through the process of localization and institutionalization. Using a descriptive qualitative research method with inductive elaboration, the paper analyses the core concepts of the Konghucu religion’s educational curriculum in Indonesia, finding that the concepts of Godhead and the universe, the cultivation of morals and ethical norms, rituals and religious practices as well as the indigenization of Confucian teachings are the most prominent ones taught as Konghucu religious education. These elements demonstrate the unique position of Confucianism in Indonesian society and its important role in promoting social harmony, moral and ethical development, and cultural transmission, which ultimately has a positive impact on the education of national integration of the Republic of Indonesia.

Abstract

Pancasila as the nation’s worldview holds an important role in shaping character. The values contained within the principles of Pancasila provide a moral foundation for nursing students in carrying out their duties and responsibilities, especially when working in the digital era marked by the advancement of information and communication technology in healthcare services. Prospective nurses are faced with challenges in nursing practice to ensure that humanitarian and professional principles are not compromised. This study examines how Pancasila can serve as a foundation in shaping the ethics of students in the digital era and highlights the importance of reinforcing Pancasila values. Using a qualitative method, data were collected through semi-structured interviews with 13 informants selected through purposive sampling. The results show that nursing students frequently use social media platforms such as Instagram and TikTok. The most relevant Pancasila principles in the nursing profession are the first, second, and fifth principles. Although these values are important, their implementation is often neglected in the use of social media, particularly concerning nurses’ moral responsibilities, such as keeping patient privacy. Therefore, it is crucial to pay attention to Pancasila values when selecting and curating content before posting, in order to use social media appropriately and meaningfully.

Abstract

In the digital age, the main issue in character development is how to empower young people who have the principles of social responsibility, equality, and sustainability amidst the challenging influence of modern technology. The purpose of this research is to explore how the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) can serve as a basis for character education and to find challenges and opportunities in its integration in the digital era. The approach used in this research is qualitative descriptive with a literature study method. The results show that through the values of sustainability and equality, the SDGs provide a framework for developing student character supported by digital technology. Some of the challenges that need to be overcome include the digital divide, the negative influence of technology, and cultural constraints. On the other hand, great opportunities are also found in the use of technology to expand access to quality character education. Therefore, the integration of the SDGs in character education requires strategies that involve multi-stakeholder collaboration as well as customization to the local context.

Abstract

This paper aims to critically reflect on the development of democracy in Indonesia through the lens of Jonathan Floyd’s Political Philosophy. The background of this paper is the attitudes and policies of political elites and oligarchs in Indonesia, particularly in the context of the 2024 General Elections, which deviate from the 1945 Indonesian Constitution and Pancasila as the guiding principles of Indonesian communal life. The author questions the political attitudes and understanding of the political elite, which tend to undermine democratic life among grassroots communities in Indonesia—such as the stipulation of the age limit for presidential and vice-presidential candidates in Article 67 of Law No. 7 of 2017 and the selective process in political party membership. The method used in this paper is qualitative research. The findings and discussion are presented in four parts. First, the author describes the history of democracy in Indonesia from the Reform Era to the present. Second, the author explains the current political situation in the context of Indonesia’s 2024 elections. Third, the author analyses Jonathan Floyd’s Political Philosophy. Fourth, the author applies Jonathan Floyd’s Political Philosophy as a critical tool to reflect on recent democratic practices in Indonesia. Through these four areas of discussion, the author offers recommendations for a political model that should be embraced in the context of post-2024 election democracy in Indonesia.
