Abstract

Sus Tenun Lintau (STL) is an MSME that produces woven clothing materials, detta, and scarves. The most popular at the moment is detta. In order to compete in the market, STL sets high standards by using an effective and efficient production system. The accuracy of homogeneous products must have the same character. From the background, this study analyzes the quality of STL production results. This study uses capability process analysis. capability process can identify the quality of production (product nonconformity) produced, analyze the capability of the production quality process and control the quality of production results. The results of processing, interpretation of dimensional characteristic data are spread following a normal distribution while the control limits indicate that the dimensional characteristics of the detta product variables are in control. From the results of the Capability Process calculation, the process capability (Cp) can be analyzed, the value of 1.00 <Cp <1.33 and the characteristic value of Cp = Cpk, this means that the process is centered in the middle between the specification limits. The result is that the production capability (process capability) of each product size dimension has good results

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of providing AB Mix nutrition on the growth and production of pakcoy plants. The research was carried out in the researcher's own home, namely on Jalan Santun number 30, Sudirejo 1 District, Medan City, North Sumatra Province. The type of research is experimental research using a Completely Randomized Non-Factorial Design with a total of 5 treatments and 5 replications with a total sample of 25 holding tanks with a total of 125 plants. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, leaf length and weight per plant after harvest. Data were analyzed using Analysis of Variance (Anova) followed by the Duncan Advanced Test (DMRT). The research results showed that AB Mix nutrition had a real influence on the growth and production of pakcoy plants (Brassica rapa var chinensis L.), the best plant growth was in treatment A3 (30 ml) with plant height at 5 WAP as high as 24 cm, number of leaves 22 strands, leaf length 20 cm and plant weight 39.6 gr. The dose that showed optimum results for the growth and production of lettuce plants was obtained in treatment A3 (30 ml).

Abstract

Personal hygiene memegang peranan penting untuk memelihara kesehatan dan kebersihan pada organ kewanitaan saat menstruasi. Dampak mengabaikan personalhygiene pada saat menstruasi remaja putri ialah timbulnya permasalahan terkait kebersihan alat reproduksinya, kesehatan dan penampilan sewaktu menstruasi tidak terjaga. Berdasarkan Badan Perencanaan Pembangunan Nasional (BKKBN) didapatkan data sebanyak 63 juta remaja di Indonesia beresiko kurang menjaga kebersihan organ reproduksi saat menstruasi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif analitik dengan desain cross sectional, yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari-Oktober 2023. Populasi pada penelitian ini siswi kelas 7 di MTs N 4 Kota padang. Sampel diambil dengan teknik Propotional Random Sampling sebanyak 115 orang. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner. Kemudian diolah dengan SPSS dan dianalisis dengan uji Chi-square dengan derajat kemaknaan (a = 0,05). Hasil penelitian didapatkan siswi yang menerapkan Personal Hygiene saat menstruasi yang kurang baik sebesar 56,5%, siswi yang tidak mendapatkan dukungan teman sebaya kurang baik sebanyak 74 orang (64,3%), siswi dengan sikap yang negative menegenai personal hygiene saat menstruasi sebanyak 62 orang (53,9%), dan siswi yang tidak memperoleh sumber informasi yang kurang baik sebanyak 61 orang (53,0%). Pada faktor sikap, sumber informasi dan dukungan teman sebaya terdapat hubungan dengan Personal Hygiene saat menstruasi yaitu faktor sikap (p= 0,001), sumber informasi (p= 0,023) dan faktor dukungan teman sebaya (p= 0,026).

Abstract

Bricks are one of the materials used for construction. Among the areas producing brick material in Jambi Province are Bungo Regency, Sarolangun Regency and East Tanjung Jabung. This research was conducted to determine the quality of bricks, both in terms of shape, strength and the materials from which they are made. The tests carried out are shape and size tests, compressive strength tests. Testing was carried out at the Materials Laboratory of the Padang Institute of Technology by randomly taking samples of bricks from manufacturing furnaces in 3 (three) regencies of Jambi Province, namely Bungo Regency, Sarolangun Regency and East Tanjung Jabung Regency. From the test results, recommendations will be made for good quality bricks for construction work and if low quality bricks are found, recommendations for improvements will be made for brick making kilns. The research results showed that the size of the test bricks from 3 (three) districts in Jambi Province did not meet the standard sizes of SNI 15-2094-2000. The average size is 116.67 mm long, 73.3 mm wide and 65 mm high. The brick compressive strength test results were only 3.25 N/mm2, which does not meet the minimum SNI 15-2094-2000 standard of 5 N/mm2. The brick making process is still very traditional without brick quality control.

Abstract

The effect of myricetin and its derivatives (myricetin 3-O-L-rhamnoside (myricitrin), and myricetin 3-alpha-L-arabinouranoside) towards corrosion on the metal surfaces had been studied using density functional theory (DFT) at the B3LYP/6-31G (d, p). Quantum chemical parameters such as, orbital energies (EHOMO, ELUMO), energy gap (ΔE), dipole moment (µ) were calculated from optimizing results of molecule A, B and C compounds. The gap energy (ΔE), ionization potential (I), electron affinity (A), electronegativity (χ), hardness (η), softness (σ), transferred electrons fraction (ΔN), electrophilicity index (ω), interaction energy (ΔEint) and binding energy (ΔEbinding) were determined from EHOMO dan ELUMO value.

Abstract

This study discusses the factors that influence consumer purchasing decisions at Wizzmie Jimbaran Restaurant, namely product quality and service quality factors. The purpose of this study is to determine how product quality and service quality influence consumer purchasing decisions. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. The population in this study were consumers who had visited Wizzmie Jimbaran Restaurant from the population, the sample was determined based on research by Hair et al. (2010) sample = number of indicators x 5, then a sample of 80 people was obtained. The data analysis technique used the classical assumption test and hypothesis test with results based on research, product quality and service quality simultaneously had a significant influence on purchasing decisions and all independent variables partially had a significant effect on the dependent variable, but based on the results of the questionnaire, there needed to be a proposal for improvement, namely evaluating recipe standards and portions, attaching visual documentation of dishes, having the right measuring equipment, increasing the number of servers, increasing employee empathy, and providing comfortable facilities for customers waiting.

Abstract

Microplastics have contaminated almost all living ecosystems, especially in aquatic ecosystems. microplastics can interfere with the growth of marine organisms, and the impact is quite serious. This study aims to determine the shape and color of microplastics, the prevalence (presence) of microplastics and the intensity (amount) of microplastics in the digestive tract organs (Anadara granosa). The research was conducted during September - October 2024, sampling was carried out in the estuary area of Jono Beach, Lalang Village, Batu Bara Regency, North Sumatra, 40 samples were taken each. Microplastic extraction was carried out by taking the clam's digestive tract, weighing it into a microtube and adding 10% KOH solution as much as 3: 1 with the weight of the tissue, closed and allowed to stand for 24 hours at 40°C. After 24 hours in the centrifuge for 2 minutes at 500 rpm to precipitate all particles dissolved in the liquid. The solution on top was discarded and the solids on the bottom were taken for examination under a microscope. The results showed that microplastics were found in the digestive tract of clams in the types of fragments (80%), fibers (17%) and films (3%). While the most dominant color of microplastics is black (74%), red (14%), blue (6%), clear (6%), and clear (6%).

Abstract

The Qur'an is a holy book that was revealed with a very distinctive structure, not only in terms of language, but also in the arrangement of its verses and chapters. One important approach in understanding this structure is the science of munāsabah, which is the science that studies the relationship and interconnectedness between verses or chapters in the Qur'an. This article aims to examine the urgency of munāsabah in revealing the wisdom behind the arrangement of the verses of the Qur'an and its contribution to enriching the understanding of interpretation. The results of the study show that munāsabah not only plays a role in beautifying the narrative of the Qur'an, but also uncovers deeper meanings, including moral, legal, and spiritual messages hidden in the sequence of revelation. Awareness of the importance of munāsabah can encourage a more contextual and integrative approach to interpretation in contemporary Qur'anic studies.

Abstract

Kombucha is a fermented beverage that has been gaining popularity due to its health benefits, such as its antioxidant and probiotic content. One of the main ingredients in making kombucha is tea, and the type of tea used significantly affects the quality of the final product. This study aimed to determine the effect of using black tea on the growth of SCOBY (Symbiotic Culture of Bacteria and Yeast) and the organoleptic quality of kombucha. The research was conducted experimentally at the Microbiology Laboratory of Universitas Negeri Medan in April–May 2025. Kombucha was fermented for six days with a black tea solution to which sugar and a starter culture were added. The parameters observed included SCOBY growth (thickness and diameter) and organoleptic quality (taste, aroma, and color), which were assessed by ten panelists. The results showed an increase in SCOBY thickness from 0.5 cm to 0.8 cm and diameter from 12 cm to 15 cm. Organoleptic tests indicated that black tea kombucha tends to have a sour taste, a moderately strong aroma, and a yellowish-brown to brown color. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that black tea positively influences SCOBY growth and produces kombucha with good sensory quality that is acceptable to the panelists.

Abstract

Ketersediaan air bersih merupakan kebutuhan dasar untuk keberlangsungan hidup manusia dan menjadi prioritas dalam Pembangunan Berkelanjutan (SDGs), setiap individu berhak untuk mendapatkan akses air bersih yang sehat, mudah, terjangkau, dan memadai. Pertumbuhan populasi penduduk dan dampak perubahan iklim menjadi tantangan dalam pemenuhan ketersediaan dan kualitas air, baik di wilayah perkotaan maupun pedesaan. Nagari Durian Seribu, Kecamatan Silaut, Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan, menggunakan layanan air bersih dari sumur bor yang dikelola oleh PAMSIMAS melalui Badan Usaha Milik Nagari. Sejak Juni 2023 PAMSIMAS telah mengimplementasikan aplikasi berbasis Android untuk pencatatan digital pemakaian air, Berdasarkan data pencatatan pemakaian air yang terkumpul, pengelola ingin melihat perkembangan layanan yang diberikan, seperti total pemakaian air, total pendapatan, rata-rata pemakaian, rata-rata pendapatan, jumlah pelanggan, serta kinerja petugas lapangan secara periodik. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut maka penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah Dashboard Visualisasi Data Penggunaan Air Bersih PAMSIMAS Nagari Durian Seribu. Dashboard menggunakan data pencatatan pemakaian air dari Juni 2023 hingga Juli 2024, Dashboard dibuat menggunakan Looker Studio dan Google Spreadsheet sebagai sumber data, dengan adanya dashboard ini dapat digunakan sebagai media untuk analisis perkembangan layanan PAMSIMAS dengan mudah, akurat, dan efisien bagi pengelola.
