Abstract

This study aims to analyze and group the most popular songs on Spotify in 2025 based on the emotions or moods they represent. The research uses the K-Means algorithm. The data includes the top 3,000 songs with ten main audio features: valence, energy, danceability, tempo, loudness, acousticness, instrumentalness, speechiness, liveness, and duration_ms. The research process includes several stages, such as data preprocessing, normalization using the standardization method, determining the best number of clusters with the Elbow and Silhouette Score methods, and applying the K-Means algorithm. The results show that the best number of clusters is four. The first cluster includes 1,180 songs that represent happy or cheerful moods, the second cluster consists of 930 songs that are energetic, the third cluster has 260 songs that show calm or relaxed feelings, and the fourth cluster includes 630 songs with sad or mellow tones. The results are visualized using PCA and heatmap, showing clear and accurate differences between the clusters based on audio features. These findings indicate that the K-Means algorithm is effective for analyzing the mood of songs and can be used in developing music recommendation systems based on mood.

Abstract

Intensifying competition in the smartphone retail sector encourages businesses to utilize sales data more effectively to support strategic decision-making, especially in inventory planning. In many cases,sales records are primarily used for routine administrative purposes and are not thoroughly analayzed to uncover sales trends that can guide stock prioritization.This research focuses on the application of data mining techniques to determine smartphone stock priorities by analyzing sales patterns. The dataset used in this study consists of smartphone sales records obtained from a retail store, incorporating attributes such as product pricing and sales volume. The research process includes data preprocessing stages, namely data cleaning and normalization, followed by the implementation of the K-Means clustering algorithm. Through the clustering process, smartphone products are categorized into several groups that reflect high, moderate, and low sales performance. The findings indicate that the K-Means-based data mining approach is effective in identifying sales patterns and classifying products according to their sales levels. The resulting clusters serve as a valuable reference for establishing stock priorities, improving inventory management efficiency, and supporting strategic decision-making in smartphone retail operations. Consequently, the application of data mining techniques offers an effective approach to enhancing inventory control in smartphone retail businesses.

Abstract

This study presents a Calculus-based framework for calculating conversion efficiency in power electronics modules, with emphasis on the integration of MATLAB/Simulink for modeling and validation. The main objective is to formulate the dynamics of efficiency using differential calculus, and to optimize conduction paths and converter topology through vector calculus and variational calculus. The methodology includes mathematical modeling based on differential equations to capture conversion dynamics, transient analysis via signal processing, and optimization algorithms grounded in calculus of variations to minimize conduction losses, switching losses, and thermal losses. Validation is performed through numerical simulations in MATLAB/Simulink and experimental testing on DC-DC converter and inverter prototypes under diverse loading and temperature conditions. Initial results indicate that the calculus-based approach enhances the accuracy of efficiency estimation and provides clearer insights into the trade-offs between converter topology and operational load. The study concludes by highlighting the potential of calculus-based techniques for designing more efficient power modules and offering recommendations for topology exploration and parameter optimization under varying thermal environments. Abstract

Amira Bakery, as a Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprise (MSME), still operates without structured documentation, resulting in operational inefficiencies and difficulties in decision-making. This study aims to analyze and map Amira Bakery's business processes using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN). The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. The research data consists of primary data obtained through direct observation of operational activities and interviews with the owner and employees, and the data is analyzed by modeling the business processes into AS-IS and TO-BE BPMN diagrams. The results of the study show that BPMN is capable of systematically describing business process flows, identifying process obstacles, and providing recommendations for improvements to increase operational efficiency and effectiveness.

Abstract

Heart disease is one of the leading causes of death in Indonesia and often develops without clear early symptoms, making early detection difficult. This study aims to predict the risk of heart attacks using the C4.5 algorithm based on RapidMiner by utilizing Indonesian public health data. The research method applies a data mining approach using the CRISP-DM framework, which includes business understanding, data understanding, data preparation, modeling, and evaluation stages. The dataset was obtained from Kaggle, consisting of 158,355 records and 28 attributes. Data preparation involved removing redundant attributes, data transformation and encoding, and dataset balancing. The evaluation results show that the C4.5 model achieved an accuracy of 90.89% with a recall value of 95.07% for the heart attack class. These results indicate that the C4.5 algorithm is effective in detecting individuals at risk of heart attacks and can be used as a basis for developing decision support systems in the healthcare sector.

Abstract

In the digital era, User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) design play a crucial role in the development of both web and mobile applications. The advancement of digital technology also drives the need for efficient, easy-to-use, and user-centered service systems. Bengkel Jaya Toga still relies on pen and paper to manage customer vehicle queues, which potentially leads to issues such as disorganized queuing and the loss of daily reports. This research aims to design the UI/UX for the Bengkel Jaya Toga queuing and booking application by implementing the Design Thinking method. This method involves five steps: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and testing, which are key to understanding user needs. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and literature studies. The result of this research is a UI/UX design that includes service booking features, service queue management, service reports, and real-time service status information. Testing of the design indicates that the application design can improve service efficiency, ease of use, and user experience. Thus, the application of the Design Thinking method has proven effective in producing a UI/UX design that meets user needs and supports the improvement of service quality at Bengkel Jaya Toga.

Abstract

Signal strength is often considered the primary indicator of communication quality. However, in practice, a strong signal condition does not always result in good communication performance. This study aims to explain the relationship between signal strength and communication quality based on telecommunication system parameters, namely amplitude, frequency, bandwidth, and the presence of noise. The method used is a literature review of textbooks and international journals published from 2020 onwards. The results of the review indicate that communication quality is the outcome of overall system performance. Frequency mismatch, bandwidth limitations, and noise dominance can degrade information quality even when the signal is received with high strength. Therefore, signal strength is not the sole determinant of communication quality.

Abstract

Pemerataan akses pendidikan dasar di wilayah yang luas seperti Kabupaten Sukabumi menghadapi dua tantangan. Tantangan ini adalah pemenuhan infrastruktur dan ketersediaan tenaga pendidik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi partisipasi siswa sekolah dasar. Ini dilakukan dengan menganalisis pengaruh jumlah sekolah dan ketersediaan guru terhadap jumlah murid pada tahun 2024. Menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, data sekunder dari seluruh kecamatan di Kabupaten Sukabumi dianalisis dengan metode Regresi Linear Berganda. Hasil pengujian statistik mengungkapkan temuan menarik. Secara keseluruhan, ketersediaan sekolah dan guru dapat menjelaskan variasi jumlah murid. Ini menunjukkan bahwa model penelitian ini sangat kuat. Namun, pengujian secara terpisah menunjukkan anomali kebijakan. Variabel jumlah guru memiliki pengaruh positif yang sangat signifikan dan dominan terhadap jumlah murid, sedangkan variabel jumlah sekolah tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan. Temuan ini menyiratkan bahwa menambah gedung sekolah baru tanpa menambah jumlah guru yang sesuai tidak efektif untuk meningkatkan daya tampung siswa. Oleh karena itu, strategi kebijakan pendidikan di Kabupaten Sukabumi sebaiknya beralih dari hanya fokus pada pembangunan fisik. Penting untuk juga mempertimbangkan pemerataan dan penambahan kuota tenaga pendidik yang lebih berkualitas.

Abstract

Peningkatan penggunaan sistem komputasi berdampak langsung terhadap konsumsi energi yang semakin tinggi, sehingga menimbulkan tantangan dalam mewujudkan sistem teknologi informasi yang berkelanjutan. Konsep Green IT hadir sebagai pendekatan untuk menekan konsumsi energi melalui pemanfaatan teknologi yang efisien, termasuk pada tahap pemodelan dan analisis data. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kinerja beberapa model regresi ringan dalam memprediksi konsumsi energi sistem komputasi sebagai upaya mendukung implementasi Green IT. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan membandingkan model Linear Regression, Ridge Regression, dan Random Forest Regressor berkompleksitas rendah menggunakan dataset konsumsi energi sistem komputasi. Proses penelitian meliputi pra-pemrosesan data, pelatihan model, serta evaluasi kinerja menggunakan metrik Mean Absolute Error (MAE), Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), dan koefisien determinasi (R²). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Linear Regression dan Ridge Regression mampu memberikan kinerja prediksi yang stabil dengan nilai R² masing-masing sebesar 0,81 dan 0,83, sementara Random Forest Regressor menghasilkan nilai R² tertinggi sebesar 0,87 namun dengan kompleksitas komputasi yang lebih besar. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa model regresi ringan memiliki potensi signifikan dalam memprediksi konsumsi energi secara akurat sekaligus mendukung prinsip efisiensi sumber daya dalam implementasi Green IT.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas metode Weighted Objective dalam pemilihan baterai yang sesuai serta menganalisis dampaknya terhadap peningkatan efisiensi energi pada Vokasi Unesa Electric Vehicle (VU-EV). Kajian pustaka dilakukan untuk membandingkan Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄) dan Lithium Ternary (NMC) berdasarkan densitas energi, keamanan, performa pada suhu rendah, efisiensi pengisian daya, dan siklus hidup. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa LiFePO₄ lebih unggul dalam aspek keamanan dan siklus hidup, sehingga lebih andal untuk penggunaan jangka panjang. Sementara itu, NMC memiliki keunggulan dalam densitas energi, performa suhu rendah, dan efisiensi pengisian daya, sehingga lebih cocok untuk aplikasi daya tinggi. Berdasarkan karakteristik VU-EV, LiFePO₄ menjadi pilihan terbaik karena stabilitasnya yang lebih baik dalam sistem energi terbarukan seperti panel surya, menjadikannya solusi optimal untuk efisiensi energi kendaraan.
