Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of digital promotion in shaping consumer preferences in the education sector. The development of information technology and the internet has transformed consumer behavior in seeking information and making decisions, including in choosing educational institutions. Digital promotion through various platforms such as social media, websites, search engines, and digital advertising (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Twitter Ads, and TikTok Ads) has become a strategic instrument in building institutional image, increasing awareness, and influencing prospective students’ perceptions and attitudes. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach through literature review to examine the concepts, strategies, and implementation of digital promotion in educational services. The findings indicate that promotion intensity, message relevance, quality of visual content, accurate targeting, and data-driven evaluation significantly contribute to the process of shaping consumer preferences in education. Consistent, interactive, and credible information exposure through digital media strengthens positive perceptions and increases the likelihood of selecting a particular institution. Therefore, digital promotion functions not only as a marketing communication tool but also as a strategic factor in influencing consumer preferences and decision-making in the education sector.

Abstract

The massive expansion of modern retail currently poses a serious threat to the existence of traditional markets, which are starting to lose their competitiveness. This study aims to analyze the influence of price perception and location on consumer purchasing decisions at Bulakamba Market to formulate strategies for sustaining the people's economy. Using a quantitative causality approach, primary data were processed using multiple linear regression analysis to accurately test the relationships between variables. Field findings prove that price perception and location have a significant positive impact with a significance level of 0.000. Individually, price perception emerged as the most dominant variable with a t-value of 6.428, while the location factor recorded a value of 4.512. This model generated a coefficient of determination of 0.657, indicating that the contribution of these two variables reaches 65.7% in triggering transactional actions. These results confirm that sensitivity to costs and ease of physical access remain the main pillars for traditional market consumers. The implications of the research demand a synergy between low-price policies and the optimization of location infrastructure to maintain customer loyalty amidst modern business competition.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategic role of the Islamic boarding school leader in managing the Tahfizul Qur'an Program at Pesantren El-Madinah Wahdah Islamiyah Bone Bolango, covering the management functions of planning, organizing, actuating, controlling, and evaluating, as well as the supporting and inhibiting factors. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data collection techniques included structured interviews, field observations, and documentation analysis. The results showed that planning is conducted through collective deliberation with tahfiz teachers to determine realistic targets and schedules. Organizing involves clear division of labor based on student grade levels to optimize supervision. Actuating is implemented systematically by clustering students' initial reading abilities and providing an intensive 3-month Dirosa method for preparation. Controlling incorporates regular morning field visits and tracking sheets. Evaluating consists of weekly and monthly coordination meetings as well as end-of-semester Tasmi' examinations. Supporting factors include teacher discipline, student motivation, and a digital reporting system via a website. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors consist of students' mental fatigue, limited human resources, and tightly packed institutional schedules.

Abstract

This study examines the accuracy of teachers in explaining the scope of educational ethics and educational politics at SD Islam Cendekia Assalam. The study addresses the issue that students often understand ethical values and school regulations at a practical level but lack conceptual understanding. The objective is to analyze how accurately teachers deliver these concepts and how it affects students’ comprehension. This research employs a qualitative approach with a field research design. Data were collected through classroom observations, interviews with teachers, and documentation of teaching materials and learning activities. The findings reveal that teachers effectively instill ethical values such as discipline, honesty, responsibility, and respect through habituation and concrete examples. However, the explanation of educational politics remains implicit and is not systematically conveyed as a conceptual framework. As a result, students demonstrate appropriate behavior in daily school life but show limited ability to explain the underlying concepts. The study highlights the need for more structured and concept-oriented teaching strategies to enhance students’ critical understanding of ethics and educational policies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of gender equality and education as an effort to shape student character at SDI Cendekia ASSALAM. The study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The research subjects included the principal, teachers, and students. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that SDI Cendekia ASSALAM has implemented gender equality values ​​in the learning process, division of tasks, use of instructional language, and school activities inclusively without discriminating against gender. This implementation has a positive impact on student character formation, such as increased respect, empathy, self-confidence, mutual cooperation, and awareness of social justice. In addition, the school also strives to deconstruct gender stereotypes through fair learning and equal opportunities for all students. However, in its implementation, obstacles are still encountered in the form of cultural incompatibilities between the school and family environment and the absence of formal written guidelines regarding gender-responsive education. Therefore, the school implemented various strategic solutions, such as parenting programs and the development of SOPs for gender-responsive learning. This research shows that gender equality education has an important role in building students' character to be tolerant, inclusive, and respectful of differences from an early age

Abstract

Teacher certification is an official process for recognizing teacher competency according to government standards as an effort to improve the quality of education. This study aims to analyze the role of certification in enhancing teacher professionalism, particularly at the elementary school level in the modern education era. The results indicate that certification has a positive impact on increasing teacher self-confidence, motivation, discipline, and performance in the learning process. Furthermore, certification also contributes to improving the welfare, dignity, and protection of the teaching profession. However, the effectiveness of certification in improving professionalism is not absolute, as it is influenced by other factors such as competence, motivation, experience, and support from the school environment. Furthermore, certified teachers still face various challenges, such as limited technological capabilities, high administrative burdens, and lack of access to advanced training. Therefore, certification needs to be balanced with continuous competency development so that it is not merely an administrative requirement but also optimally improves the quality of learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze teacher certification policies in improving teacher professionalism at educational institutions, particularly at SMKN Ngambon. The research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation involving a certified Computer and Network Engineering teacher as the research subject. The findings indicate that teacher certification has a positive influence on improving teacher professionalism, especially in terms of discipline, responsibility, instructional innovation, and the ability to adapt to educational technology developments. Teacher certification also enhances teachers’ work motivation through professional allowances as a form of government appreciation for the teaching profession. However, the implementation of certification policies still faces several challenges, including heavy administrative workloads and additional responsibilities that may reduce the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process. Therefore, teacher certification policies should be supported by continuous professional development programs to improve the overall quality of education effectively.

Abstract

Changes to the national curriculum in Indonesia often trigger public cynicism through the slogan "change minister, change curriculum" and create implementation gaps between advanced and remote schools. This study aims to critically analyze the dynamics of this curriculum transition from the perspective of educational political ethics. Using a qualitative, descriptive policy study approach, primary data was collected through in-depth interviews with the Vice Principals for Curriculum at Public Junior High Schools in Bojonegoro Regency. The results show that at the grassroots level, the slogan "change curriculum" is positively deconstructed as a dynamic process of modern improvement. Through asset-based thinking, schools mitigate limited facilities and ethical bureaucratic dilemmas in a humanistic manner through Curriculum Review, Lesson Study, and MGMPS programs. The recommended future curriculum focuses on strengthening practical character and literacy, as well as reinstating the National Examination (UN) as a tool for mapping national quality standards to maintain student learning motivation.

Abstract

Cases of violence and bullying in schools still frequently occur and negatively affect students’ psychological conditions and educational quality. This study aims to describe and analyze the synergistic efforts between the Department of Education and schools in preventing and handling violence in the learning environment. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach. The study was conducted at MI Islamiyah Kayulemah, Sumberjo District, Bojonegoro Regency from February to April 2026. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the principal, homeroom teachers, and the Department of Education, as well as field observations and documentation related to the Violence Prevention and Handling Team (TPPK). Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the Department of Education acts as a regulator through child-friendly school policies, anti-bullying socialization programs, and strengthening the establishment of TPPK in schools. Meanwhile, schools implement these policies through character building, counseling services, student behavior supervision, and parental involvement in bullying prevention. This study concludes that synergy between the Department of Education, schools, and parents can create a safer and more comfortable learning environment for students.

Abstract

The zoning system for new student admissions is an educational policy aimed at achieving equitable access and social justice in education. This policy was implemented to reduce the gap between favored and non-favored schools and provide equal opportunities for all students to access educational services. However, various problems remain in its implementation, such as disparities in school quality, limited educational facilities, and the emergence of pros and cons in the community. Therefore, this research is crucial to understand the implementation of the zoning system in realizing social justice in schools.This study aims to analyze the implementation of the zoning system in realizing social justice in at SMKN Ngambon and identify obstacles encountered in its implementation. This study used qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Observations were conducted to observe the implementation of the zoning system in schools, interviews with principals, teachers, and students, and documentation was used to obtain supporting data related to the zoning policy. Data sources consisted of primary and secondary data. Data analysis techniques included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research results show that the implementation of the zoning system has had a positive impact on equalizing access to education and increasing student diversity in schools. The zoning system also promotes social justice through more equitable learning opportunities for the community. However, the implementation of this policy still faces several obstacles, such as differences in school quality, limited infrastructure, and poor public understanding of the objectives of educational zoning.The study concludes that the zoning system plays a crucial role in realizing social justice in education, but its implementation requires more optimal support from the government, schools, and the community. Equitable distribution of educational quality, improved school facilities, and ongoing policy dissemination are necessary to maximize the goals of the zoning system.
